This is a beautiful hotel with delightful accommodation and surroundings. Perfect location on the edge of Radda for exploring or just walking across the road to the medieval town for dinner. Hotel has been tastefully renovated and furnished with antiques. there are some lovely seating area both inside and outside. Sometimes short staffed so service could be a bit slow but the staff were very obliging. Very romantic. Upgrade to the deluxe room. Highly Recommended.

we had a wonderful time at this great hotel. we stayed 5 nights which was not long enough...the staff was friendly and helpful and the location was perfect to access siena and florence...the perfect place to relax and enjoy tuscan charm

A beautiful hotel on a nice property in a charming but small town. It took 1/2 hour to reach the main road to Firenze. The hotel was right on the road, but with the set of double windows closed it wasn't too noisy. The restaurant was expensive, and the tub leaked. It would be nice if the hotel could get wireless internet capacity.

Yes it was our first time and I think the last, becouse the room was out of standard for a four stars hotel. The room in the dependance was with old forniture and smelt of umidity, the bathroom was small and really poor.

Relais Vignale is the perfect place to be surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, while enjoying high quality hotel service, such as drinks by the pool after a day of sightseeing. The location is central to the chianti region and most guests make day trips to many other towns, or vineyards, but the roads are narrow and serpentine and not for nervous drivers.Best to rent a small car.

My husband and I visited Radda in Chianti on our honeymoon. We had upgraded from a double standard to a double superior room but we were originally placed in a very small room with two single beds pushed together. The bed was so uncomfortable that we asked to be moved the following morning. The hotel staff was very accommodating and they moved us to a double superior room that was bigger with a true double bed. While the rooms were on the small side, the views of Chianti from the hotel were magnificent! Breakfast and dinner are served on the patio overlooking the countryside. The food was only average but the landscape made up for it.

From the North the hotel is easily reachable by the motorway A1, exit at Firenze Certosa. Take the superstrada Firenze Siena and exit at San Donato. Follow the indications for Castellina in Chianti then for Radda in Chianti.
From South the hotel is easily reachable by the motorway A1, exit Valdichiana. Take the superstrada Siena-Bettolle, towards Siena, exit Castelnuovo Berardenga. Follow the indications for Gaiole in Chianti, then for Radda in Chianti.

By train
The hotel is 20 km from the Montevarchi railway station.

By airplane
The hotel is 40 km from the Florence airport.
