About Hotel Villa Odino

exterior Hotel Villa Odino exterior Hotel Villa Odino is housed historic building dating back to 1563, where the emissaries of the Bishop of Torcello used to reside when in Quarto d'Altino. The hotel is located on the right bank of river Sile and set in a beautiful green countryside.

Recently restored, modernised and equipped to a very high standard, the hotel has a tradition of country hospitality where guests are invited to relax in a friendly atmosphere, with perfect service offered by the Pasini family. You can be certain of a warm welcome and a happy holiday, for just a few days or for longer stays.

The property features several amenities including a bar, a lovely garden, an outdoor swimming pool and Internet access in the lobby.

During the weekends from March to October, the hotel is the boarding point for organized boat trips to Venice or the islands of Venetian Lagoon. Venice can be easily reached by train as well, and the hotel offers a shuttle service to railway station and back, subject to charges.

The hotel restaurant is situated in Casale, 2 km from the hotel, and offers an extensive à la carte menu with a paying shuttle service to and from the hotel.

Friendly reception. Nice, clean, comfortable and quiet room (ground floor of annex, giving onto pool area, yet privacy assured through hedge & flowers). Excellent breakfast. Friendly, on demand transfer service to and from the railroad station.

Hotel personnel were friendly and very helpful. It was a good choice for a last night prior to an early morning departure from the Venice airport. The hotel secured a taxi for us for 25 euros. To get to the hotel after we dropped our rental car at the airport, we paid 39 euros. We ate dinner at the nearby Ristorante Odino which specializes in seafood. Dinner was excellent.

We enjoyed our stay at the Villa Odino. The rooms are very modern and the property is kept in immaculate shape. The staff was pleasant and friendly. Some things to be aware of though....The website advertised a free shuttle to the local train station, but they advised there was a small charge for that service. They also advertised "Free" internet, but they advised there was a small charge for internet use. Neither of these concerns would make me not want to stay here again, but when your traveling in a foreign country, the fewer surprises, the better.

Pleasant, quiet surroundings. Good breakfast choice. The room we had was much smaller than the web picture, but as long as the rooms are clean and quiet we didn't care. The web site listed a free shuttle to/from local train station, but they in fact have a 2 euro charge shown on the notice boards. However we didn't need this service and so don't know if it can be waived. I would stay here again.

From the A4 highway, take exit Venezia Est and follow directions to Quarto d'Altino and then to Casale sul Sile. Take the Casale sul Sile exit and you will arrive in front of the Da Odino restaurant (via Roma). Turn left towards Treviso and after 50 metres turn right towards San Michele Vecchio. You will see the hotel sign.

By train
The hotel is 1 km from Quarto d'Altino railway station. The property offers a free shuttle service from/to the railway station.

By airplane
From both Venice and Treviso airports you can take a taxi with preferential rates.
It is also possible to take the airport shuttle service to the nearest railway station and then the train to Quarto d'Altino.
