A really different kind of hotel, in the country. Rooms are designed to be quiet - much appreciated. Restaurant is sometimes too small for the demand, but other times is fine. Breakfast good and well-cooked. Dinner sometimes a bit stodgy but OK. Personnel very pleasant and helpful. Ample parking. Bar can be off-limits if you don't like loud music. Pool fine. I would recommend the Pinhal do Sol to most people.

How sad that the food is not any better. The cook should serve better fish and meet to much potatoes and vegetables are tinfood. Further ther was an infection at the hotel everybody was very ill for one day. the restaurant was very cold because of leck of heating. But price and quality was akay it could be better.
