Very pleased with the hotel, good value for money

This was avery inexpensive stay. The hotel is an old lady from another era. She is badly in need of a fresh coat of paint yet we simply loved her and the views from the terrace. Breakfast was ample and dinner was provided on request. ideal for someone looking for an experience with a difference.

We (2 adults & 2 kids) used this hotel for a one night stop before going on a yachting fortnight. It's a great building that could benefit from a complete renovation... but then it wouldn't be the bargin accomadation that it is now! This is not an alternative to the resort hotels on the sea front, but makes a good stop for a short stay seeing the sights etc.

The building is amazing & the location is unbeatable! The upholstery & draperies & carpeting probably date back to the early 1900's, & probably haven't been cleaned since the 1950's - if then. Staff were efficient, but far from warm or welcoming. Someone needs to invest some serious kuna in this place to bring it back to its glory.

Old hotel but charming and well located

It's the most dirty hotel I have ever seen at this price. We payed 85 euros, for a double room which should cost 20 euros... I don't recommand this hotel.

Nice hotel for short term stops

The location of Rivera is very good, however, the feeling inside the hotel is like from the 80's. A lot of improvement should be done, to increase the overall service. Hope, that the hotel owners will have enough courage to do that.

Now badly in need of renovation but clean, spacious and with lots of character. Stay there while its still affordable

Very beautiful old hotel. all facilities worked. not many guests; don't see how they make a profit. at 40 euros it was excellent value for the money with an excellent location.

The location two blocks from the bus station and one block from the Arena was perfect. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The carpet in the room looked like something off CSI New York. The staff were not helpful and there was no fan and no air con.

It was the most awful hotel I've ever booked. We stay in an ugly room right under the roof. The temparature was so high that it wasn't possible to get any sleep at night because the sun was shining on the roof the whole day. The carpet, the toilet and everything was very old and the room was very poor furnished per example there was just one chair in a douple room, no lamp near the bed.....

Good and clean. Excellent position in town. Very good price for room and breakfast.
