My teenage daughter & I stayed in the Hotel Del Corso for 4 nights as a 'get away' break in June 09. As regular travellers to mainland Italy and are used to their culture, we tried Sardinia for a change. This was a beautiful hotel with very polite & helpful staff. The manager is very experienced and will go out of his way to help you during your stay and on your departure. Sardinia, unlike the mainland is more reserved and quieter than Italy, so don't expect buzzing nightlife - more hanging around the piazza, eating and drinking, and there are more younger people in groups than the usual mix of age ranges from the elderly to younger families. Don't be put off by this though - they are always respectful!Sardinian's do come across as very reserved to some other cultures, but once you've spoken/seen them a few times during your stay, they are very friendly and helpful people. If you want to relax - get to the beach at Nora by bus otherwise hire a car/vespa. A beautiful place - beautiful beaches - exactly like the photos!

Room was very, very small. Bathroom huge and new. Employees are extremely nice. Breakfast is basic (bread, cereal, fruit). Location to town is excellent. Biggest issue is not having a window that opens to the outside. Most rooms have windows that open to an enclosed, covered courtyard. Also, any noice from people or the tv travels directly up to the rooms. Quiet late at night, but if you want to go to sleep early, or nap, there is a lot of noise.

Staff extremely welcoming & helpful. Interesting position in town, easy to walk to everywhere (only drawback car parking some way from hotel)
