Hotel Acuario - Puerto de la Cruz

Purtroppo abbiamo sottovalutato alcuni commenti. E' vero, la piscina è piccolissima e l'hotel è distante dal centro (la discesa a piedi è di circa 20 minuti). NON C'E' UN PARCHEGGIO DELL'HOTEL, ma si accosta lungo la via (in salita): trovare parcheggio a meno di 300 m è una fortuna; talvolta abbiamo dovuto lasciare l'auto sulla strada principale. L'aria condizionata non c'è. Abbiamo alloggiato in una camera interna che si affacciava sui balconi delle altre stanze. Siamo stati disturbati più volte da una coppia di "vicini" (che non essendoci l'aria condizionata aprivano la finestra...) ed era costante (continuo giorno e notte) il ronzio di un macchinario dell'hotel posto su una tettoia vicina. La camera era piccolissima x non dire minuscola: bisognava accedere al balcone ed all'armadio uno alla volta perchè c'erano solo 40 cm di passaggio. Il buffet della colazione era buono e vario e la maggior parte del personale era gentile, cordiale e disponibile (tranne il consièrge del pomeriggio-sera). Il costo è basso ma rapportato al servizio.

Enjoyed my stay and liked the hotel and situation of the hotel, beds not that compfy and room in need of a coat of paint. Balconies not very private.

We were 3 person (one pair and a friend) and just stayed for one night, cause we were visiting from las palmas. The price was extreme low, the hotel found realy fast. yes it is away from the beach and the hotel isn't quite, cause spanish buildings are loud, but we have nothing to be angry about. it was clean, half broad (cheap!) and we could sleep well for this one night. and you don't have tourists all around and you reach the beach with a taxi for 3,3 euro :) so, realy nice one

I knew already very well Tenerife, so I booked this hotel only because of the low price and I am happy I did so. I can advice this hotel to all of You. Do not think to find high level service but for the price paid it's more then ok.

Especially I liked the quieteness, price and the good food.

The hotel was very quiet but at the weekend a lot of people arrived for the holiday weekend. The dining room staff coped very well. The room and bathroom were very clean, the pool and solarium area very quiet and relaxing.I enjoyed my stay although there was no TV, phone or tea making facilities in room which would have been nice.
