The Hotel Celeste takes its name from the many different shades of light blue (Celeste in Italian) decorating the walls, tiles, guest rooms and panoramic terraces set beneath an azure sky.
The hotel is just 150 metres from Procida’s main marina, the little island of Vivara and the Chiaiolella beach, famous for its spectacular sunsets. The three-storey building is surrounded by patios and terraces full of trees and plants, where guests can wind down in the warmth of the Mediterranean sun and the cool, clean, fresh air from the surrounding hills.
The Hotel Celeste has 35 rooms providing accommodation for up to 80 guests.
With its central location, well-appointed premises, and extensive range of services and facilities, the hotel offers great value for money and is very popular with both Italian and foreign holidaymakers staying in Procida.

The distance from the beach is only 200 meters, five minutes by walk. The distance from the main port is 2 kilometers and is possible to arrive to the hotel by bus. The line L1 and the line L2 arrive at 30 meters from hotel.

All the rooms are tastefully decorated in a fresh Mediterranean style and equipped with en suite bathroom with either bath or shower, hairdryer, air-conditioning, heating, TV and telephone. In addition to its small, but welcoming reception area, the hotel also offers an Internet point, sun terraces and a friendly bar where guests can enjoy an Italian style breakfast.

How to reach Hotel Celeste

By car
Ferries and hydrofoils run to Procida daily from Ischia, Pozzuoli and Naples (approximately 3, 7 and 10 nautical miles respectively). From Naples, ferries and hydrofoils depart from Molo Beverello and Calata di Massa, while hydrofoil services operate from the picturesque marina in Mergellina. Ferries and hydrofoils run continuously throughout the day to and from Pozzuoli, providing convenient links to the Campi Flegrei area.
Arriving by car in:
Pozzuoli. From the Naples tollgate, continue along the tangenziale (ring road) following signs for Pozzuoli. Exit at via Campana. Imbarco Isole.
Naples. Leave the motorway at the “Napoli zona portuale”, NOT “Napoli tangenziale”. Follow signs for “Napoli centro-porto” and then “Napoli porto via Marina”. After that, follow directions for Molo Calata di Massa-Imbarco Isole.
NB: During the high season (April-September), residents in Campania are not permitted to take cars to Procida.


By train
Arriving by train:
Napoli Centrale / Piazza Garibaldi Station. The main railway station in Naples is about 15 minutes from the port.
You can take a taxi, bus or tram to the ferry/hydrofoil terminals (Beverello or Calata di Massa). If you take a taxi, make sure you ask for the tariffa predeterminata (fixed fare) before you start your journey (flat fare €9.50).
Napoli Mergellina Station. The station is a 5-minute walk from the hydrofoil terminal in Mergellina, while it takes 15 minutes by taxi, bus or tram to reach the Beverello and Calata di Massa ferry/hydrofoil terminals.


From Naples or Pozzuoli to Procida.
Depending on the time of day and whether or not you are driving, you can choose from the following ferry and hydrofoil companies operating from the terminals in Naples and Pozzuoli.
It takes 60 minutes to get to Procida by ferry from Naples and 30 minutes from Pozzuoli. The hydrofoil does the crossing in 35 minutes from Naples and 15 minutes from Pozzuoli.


By airplane
Arriving by plane:
From Naples Capodichino Airport, take a taxi or bus to the Molo Beverello, Calata di Massa or Mergellina ferry/hydrofoil terminal. If you take a taxi, make sure you ask for the tariffa predeterminata (fixed fare) before you start your journey (flat rate €16.00 to Beverello and Calata di Massa; €19.00 to Mergellina).
The hotel can provide a convenient transfer service upon request to/from airports in Naples or Rome, and Naples railway station.


By public transportation
How to get to the Hotel Celeste from Procida harbour:
The bus stop is just 30 m from the ferry and hydrofoil terminal in Marina Grande.
Buses L1 and L2 stop 50 m from the hotel.
The taxi rank is to the right of the port.
