A nice hotel one block away from the beach. Only complaint was the air conditioner worked as well as small fan. The room was always hot and humid. A good reason to live in your bikini. Oh yeah, if you leave the windows open at night you get eaten alive. Some choice.

Excellent location. We realise we need to learn to speak better Italian which would be helpful. Only complaint is the breakfast was poor however the coffee was excellent.

Hotel Celeste is a well hidden jewell. Ideally located close to the best beach in the island and very good restaurants in a walking distance of 10 min. max. The staff in the hotel are very helpful and real, they don't overwhelm you with the pretentious "polliteness" of the large hotels. The rooms are extremeley clean and functional (you won't spend all your day in the room, right ?) and the terrace for common use overlooking Marina Chaioella and Vivara islet was the highlight of our stay.

How to reach Hotel Celeste
By carFerries and hydrofoils run to Procida daily from Ischia, Pozzuoli and Naples (approximately 3, 7 and 10 nautical miles respectively). From Naples, ferries and hydrofoils depart from Molo Beverello and Calata di Massa, while hydrofoil services operate from the picturesque marina in Mergellina.
By train
Arriving by train:
Napoli Centrale / Piazza Garibaldi Station. The main railway station in Naples is about 15 minutes from the port.
You can take a taxi, bus or tram to the ferry/hydrofoil terminals (Beverello or Calata di Massa).
By airplane
Arriving by plane:
From Naples Capodichino Airport, take a taxi or bus to the Molo Beverello, Calata di Massa or Mergellina ferry/hydrofoil terminal.
