Hotel Il Pino - Praiano

This was an amazing little hotel, with views to die for, perfectly located in Praiano, close to restaurants, buses and walks. Right on the edge of the road, once you get used to the narrowness, it's fine. Try to get a room on the upper floor not to hear anyone over your head. Floors are ceramic and reflect every footstep of people with heels. The service at breakfast is quite disorganized, but if you are not in a rush, it's OK. The breakfast is also very limited, without fruit, but for the price, cannot complain! We loved Praiano. Excellent views of Positano, easy access, without the crowds. Highly recommended!

Great hotel. Would recommend to others and will definitely return

The room was quite clean and the view very beautiful. Impossible to actually use the computer desk as the provided chair did not fit under the desk with a human sitting on it. The balcony was very small, but sufficient for 2 people. The TV was missing a power cord and the staff never fixed the problem even though I was there for 2 nights. The TV was a small flat screen (17" maybe) mounted on the wall. Noisy neighbors, I could hear all their child's temper tantrums, no sleeping in! The staff was pleasant, but the parking was very tight, room for only 4/5 cars max. My boyfriend had to move the car at least 4 times even though we gave them the keys for that purpose. There were flies (lots) in the lobby, but that seems to be normal around the coast with open windows.

The hotel was wonderful and the restaurant was outstanding. Our only negative comments: 1- the woman at the desk when we checked in did not seem to be pleased that we had booked through venere vs. through the hotel 2- the desk staff was not very helpful in helping us get around

Excellent view from the terrace; one of the world's greatest? Small and charming hotel and a good restaurant next door. But, as very often in Italian hotels, a very simple breakfast.
