The room was quite clean and the view very beautiful. Impossible to actually use the computer desk as the provided chair did not fit under the desk with a human sitting on it. The balcony was very small, but sufficient for 2 people. The TV was missing a power cord and the staff never fixed the problem even though I was there for 2 nights. The TV was a small flat screen (17" maybe) mounted on the wall. Noisy neighbors, I could hear all their child's temper tantrums, no sleeping in! The staff was pleasant, but the parking was very tight, room for only 4/5 cars max. My boyfriend had to move the car at least 4 times even though we gave them the keys for that purpose. There were flies (lots) in the lobby, but that seems to be normal around the coast with open windows.

The hotel was wonderful and the restaurant was outstanding. Our only negative comments: 1- the woman at the desk when we checked in did not seem to be pleased that we had booked through venere vs. through the hotel 2- the desk staff was not very helpful in helping us get around

Excellent view from the terrace; one of the world's greatest? Small and charming hotel and a good restaurant next door. But, as very often in Italian hotels, a very simple breakfast.

By car
From Naples: take the A3 highway and exit at Castellammare di Stabia. Follow the signs to Sorrento and then get onto the SS163 road going towards the Amalfi coast.
From Salerno: take the A3 highway, exit at Vietri sul Mare and then get onto the SS163 road going towards the Amalfi coast.

By train
From the Centrale train station in Naples: take the Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento and then the Sita bus to Praiano.
