The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and always ready to do the extra mile. The hotel is nicely located to explore the Amalfi Coast and there is a bus stop right outside the hotel in order to go to Positano. The views from the hotel are beautiful.

The room was overpriced compared to similar rooms we booked. This is probably due to it's location on the Amalfi Coast where everything is overpriced. The staff was helpful. Breakfast was good, There is a small, reasonably priced restaurant about a block away and a grocery store a block the other way. The bus to Positano stops near the hotel. There is good access by foot to the Sentiero degli Dei from the hotel. The hotel is located about 1/2 km up the hill from the main SITA bus stop in Praiano. There should be directions on the website from the bus-stop. The signs aren't all that clear. Learn some Italian before you come!

We appreciated Staff courtesy and wonderful landscape. Very confortable the garage availability and the proximity to the bus stop to move to/from Positano and its amazing beaches. Good breakfast buffet.

My husband and I stayed one night. The hotel was clean with amazing views of the sea. The room was fairly spacious with a small balcony (others have terraces) and a decent-sized bathroom. Breakfast was a buffet with cereals, pastries, and fruits. The staff spoke English and helped us figure out the bus schedule to Positano, gave us maps for the area, and can also help you schedule excursions should you choose. There was also private parking. The only thing I was disappointed in was the noise from other rooms. Walls are thin and the floors are tile, so bring earplugs (I'm a light sleeper, so I always travel with them). Other than that, it was a great stay at a more affordable price than staying in Positano!

The Hotel is OK, but I was misunderstood by the "best sea-view from the hotel": it's true that there is a beatiful view of the sea from the hotel, but I have immagined that it WAS on the sea (like the other hotel I booked on the Amalfi Coast).Apart from this my wrong, the hotel is nice and recommendable (if, of course, the traveller is not interested in having the hotel near the beach).

The hotel is a fantastic option for the Amalfi coast at an inexpensive price. The views from the balconies are amazing and the staff is super helpful and so nice. Thank you Holiday Hotel for your kindness and attention. We look forward to coming back again. Regards, Jason Horton

What a nice surprise. We normaly need only a bed and a private shower when in Italy. Here we got so much more. The most outstanding part is the view. Every morning we had the brilliant sunshine reflecting on the ocean directly in the patio window of our room (all rooms have a private patio on the ocean). In our room, we had 2/3 view on the ocean, 1/3 view on the stunning Amalfi coast. The room was big enough and very clean. Magnificient ceramic floors everywhere. The breakfast is served in a very spacious room on the upper level with again a breathtaking view on the ocean. Very quiet, with no street below the windows, a bus stop at the hotel door to go to Positano for 1.10 Euro every hour or so. Very polite and helpfull staff. This is definitely one of the best 3star hotels we've been in. This address we will keep and definitely go back in the future.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. The room was clean with breathtaking views from the balcony, but the bathroom smelled like sewer! It was unbearable. When I complained to the mangagement they were upset and pretended that nothing was wrong. The lady even came into our bathroom and said she couldn't smell anything!

Excellent location with fantastic views. Service can only be described as outstanding, my wife was ill for one day and the hotel called an excellent local doctor who arrived in 15 minutes. They looked after her very well making soup that was not on the menu, etc. We ate in the restaurant a few times and the food was very good, good selection of fresh dishes different each night. Good value at €25 each set. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are friendly and very helpful. The local bus stops outside the entrance which takes you to Positano (€1.00 each way). At the bottom of the hill the main bus between Sorrento and Amalfi stops. Next time I will not hire a car but use the very good and reliable bus service. A great base for exploring the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii, Vesuvius, Capri, etc. Only note of care is that this region is VERY hilly with lots of steps, highways are very narrow and lots of sharp bends. You need to be physically fit and be a competent driver if using a car.

This is one place I would happily recommend. The staff were incredibly friendly and always very helpful. This made the stay all the more enjoyable. The breakfast was reasonable, the rooms were spacious, the bathrooms large and the view from the balcony was stunning. Ok, maybe not as grand as other locations on the Amalfi Coast but more than made up for by the location. Praiano is ideal if you want somewhere thats a little quieter but no so out of the way. Getting to and from the other townships is pretty easy. The bus service is reliable and frequent. Parking space is a premium so if you choose to drive be prepared for expensive parking fees in the townships. Otherwise you can generally find parking within 10-15 minutes walking distance of the township - just keep in mind that for the most part there are NO footpaths. The drivers are generally careful and considerate. This is somewhere I would stay again.

I was traveling with my son, and we were delighted with this property. The family and other employees who run the Hotel Holiday are some of the nicest people we have ever met, and the view from our room overlooking the coast was stunning, to put it mildly! Breakfast out on the veranda was wonderful (they have excellent cappucino!), and I can't wait to go back and show this area to my wife. We will definitely stay at Hotel Holiday when we do!

Good location, good value. The balconies are very nice. The place is clean and a bit spare -- not very romantic, but lovely and it won't break the bank.
