The staff were all great.. but the room, bed and hotel were basically a pension for 4 times the price.. the carpet was stained, it was very noisy, the bed was horrible! Mattress has a dip in the middle .. I will never stay here again..

The room was really nice. Spacy and clean. The breakfast was nice and tasty too. The hotel provided also facilities for people with special needs. The only bad thing, which wasn't that terrible, was the noise from other rooms. It wasn't too much, but we could hear them easily! ;)

Due to stoneblock pavement on nearest streets there is some annoying car wheel noise. The taxi was really superb - the black and the big one ;-)

Really friendly, competent staff, buffet breakfast open from 7-11am, storage for luggage. Internet not available in rooms. Free printing available from reception. Very frequent trams to centre of town in a few minutes, and also possible to walk in about 20 mins but not a very pleasant route. Bed was comfortable and huge, and although it was two single beds pushed together rather than a double, this didn't cause a problem. We were in a standard room. The room was cleaned everyday and the cleaners never disturbed us. There was quite a lot of noise from the stairs outside. This hotel was really good value for money and we would stay there again.

Where ever you decide to eat the menu is the same.I would like to see a bit more variation when eating in the hotel resturant.I had a room which looked out onto the main street,it was very noisy. They might consider installing double or tripple glazing to cut down the disturbance. The staff are extremely helpful and speak very very good english, excellent directions to city attractions.

Great hotel - fantastic renovated room. Very helpful male receptionist who booked us in when we arrived. It was nice to have a free internet terminal and breakfast was included in the price. Only downside was the location which is in a suburbs quite far from the sights, although accessible with public transport.

Good: Rooms are clean and linen was changed every day. Included breakfast was fantastic (had both continental and hot/cooked). Reception staff (especially Zusanna) were very friendly and helpful and could speak English quite well. The public areas including restaurant are lovely. Free internet is good and fast there's only 1 computer. Bad: The hotel isn't really close to the main attraction although they are easily accessible by public transport (5 min walk to tram stop). No fridge in room, no airconditioning in cheaper rooms. Pub across the road is noisy until maybe 2300-2400.

Our room was very spacious but that was becuase we got a triple room for 2 people. The bathroom was quite small and with no shower curtain or place to hang the shower lead it was a major annoyance. The noise level from outside was awful. We stayed there during the week and I can only imagine what it would be like at the weekend, double glaze windows would have helped! The breakfast was sufficient and the price was good, overall I guess we were happy that we got what we paid for.

We've stayed only some days but comparing prices we saw, this one was good relationship between price/quality. the only thing is that we had to paid in checz koronas(we knew about it) and the hotel exchanges them how they want. for example, when we stayed there, they exchange 1 euro - 21.08 koronas and for charging the payement of the room on my credit card, they used another change: 1 euro - 23.90 koronas. and it wasnt't immediatly charged. I had to wait some days before they charged. And I realized that I paid more than 58 euros/per night because of the exchange. breakfast-buffet, was quiet nice but without variety. I mean, everyday the same things. It was difficult to speak with some staff, because of their little English.

This hotel is slowly becoming more expensive, but it's still very good value for money. Garage is rather expensive.

While extremely very close to the city, you find yourself in a local neighborhood with actual Czecks, and not just tourists. I really enjoyed the location and local shopping. The bars are much cheaper in the area. The hotel is really awesome and modern looking, especially for considering how weak the dollar currently is! Although the modern decor is really awesome, the bathroom really isn't private... All in all, I would definately stay here again.

Hotel was satisfactory for our needs. Staff was courteous. I appreciate their ability to speak English. There were some small roach-like bugs in the rooms, because we selected the non-air conditioned rooms, and left the windows open. We appreciated the secure parking garage at extra cost.

For budget travelers, there is no better deal. Perks included large breakfast (included in price), friendly service, free internet. The only negative is that it is a good 20-25 min walk to Old Town. I would stay here again.
