The Savic is well located in Prague's Old Town, within a 20-minute walk over the Charles Bridge to the Castle. The design of the hotel is very interesting and attractive (formerly a monastery); the room we had was comfortable and good-sized with high ceilings and a well-equipped bath. The public areas of the hotel are small but adequate; however, there do not appear to be any business facilities. The reception staff was friendly, professional and very helpful. The included breakfast was good, but not quite to the level we had in Vienna and Budapest during the same trip.

Great location though a little noisy with revellers in the evening. Rather messy renovation was ongoing in the public areas maybe caused us to mark down the property as did at times indifferent service. But we would return there if we go back to Prague.

What a fantastic hotel! This is everything you need and much more and in the best location in the city. All major sights are within easy walking distance. I have to tell everyone about the staff at the reception - they are extremely serviceminded and helpful and helped to make our stay perfect. We will definately come back to Prague and to this wonderful hotel.

Amazing. A first rate quality hotel. Stay here you will not regret it. On a side note I mentioned that it was our anniversary when we stayed and got a complementary bottle of champagne. An added touch of class from a very classy establishment

The location was very good situated in Old Town and in a very quiet area. The Hotel was doing some renovation just outside of the restaurant. Our room was nicely appointed on the third floor and quiet. Based on the reviews from Trip advisor I expected more but we were pleased overall.

Loved the room. Shower was a bit of a challenge for my 6'4" husband. Maybe more glass to keep the floor dry! I am highly recommending the hotel to my sister who will be traveling to Prague in the near future. The hotel is a gem. Breakfast was terrific. Location could not be better.

Great reception staff, beer offered on arrival. Very central, very quiet, modern hotel. Our room [401] in attic and lift only goes 3 floors so bit difficult, had to dodge roof beams. Fantastic breakfast, cooked, and free Wifi, restaurant only average. Would definitely choose again, but ask for different room.

This hotel is beautiful. We had room no 203 which we were informed is not the biggest but it was nice and spacious with lovely furnishings, a big comfy bed, Plasma TV on the wall, exposed brickwork from when it was a monastery, lovely bathroom and spotlessly clean. All of the areas of the hotel were spotlessly clean and beautiful. The staff could not be more helpful or friendly, they were great! Breakfast was a delight in the mornings with loads of choice. The hotel is very well situated with the Old Town Square just around the corner and Charles Bridge just a short stroll away. Both wonderful places to visit! Although the Astronomical Clock is a bit of an anti-climax and not really worth waiting around ages for to be honest. Lovely to look at, just the movement on the hour isn't that great! Charles Bridge is great and lovely to take a slow stroll over, it is very busy and full of people waiting to draw your portrait or charicature, also people selling some nice items and the odd band with a bit of music going. The castle is lovely for a walk around as well, great for a lovely view of the city too. We stayed in Prague for 5 nights and would have stayed easily for another 5 or more! It is a beautiful city and the Savic hotel is a great hotel, I cannot say enough good things about the place! I hope to go back to Prague one day soon again and would hope to stay at the brilliant Savic!! Fell in love with it all!!

From the moment we arrived we were treated very well the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect right in the middle of the town. We did worry that the hotel would not live up to all the positive reports on the web sites, but we didn't need to as the hotel exceeded our expectations. I will be recommending this hotel to everyone they were outstanding

Stayed at Savic for 5 nights and loved it. The room was very clean and furniture and linens were good taste. Bathroom was also freshly renovated in marble floor and so clean. In addition, it is located in the heart of the Old Town and it's just a few steps to the famous astronomical clock. Receptionists spoke good English and they were helpful and professional. I would definitely go back. Thank you Savic!

Hotel was in a perfect location to the square - when we arrived we were given a complimentry drink and the receptionist gave us all the information on local attractions - she was as good as a guide - hotel room was spacious with a four poster bed - it was on the website - breakfast was very good and the staff were more than pleasant -Be careful eating or drinking near the square as the prices are much more expensive best to go down the lanes and roads to eat -

We were a party of 8 and stayed for three nights. The hotel was superb, the breakfast was excellent a lovely choice of hot and cold food in lovely surroundings and excellent service. We had a delicious evening meal on our last night that was good value for money far better than the restaurants close by. The location was perfect within easy walking distance to many of the attractions. We would recommend the hotel highly and when we return we will definitely stay again.

This hotel is a bit special. It is very welcoming. The staff are excellent and interested. Of particular note were the reception staff. The substantial breakfast served sustained us well into the day. The room we were in (room 206) was excellent. The location ( 5 mins from Charles Bridge and 3 minutes from the main square) was ideal. Reception space/facilities are limited but work underway should resolve this. We would have no hesitation in booking this hotel again. Kieran. Dublin, Ireland

We stayed for 2 nights at the Savic Hotel. we were picked up from the airport by a driver ( for an additional cost of around £20) which was well worth the cost. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The attic room was lovely with exposed beams and chandalier! Breakfast was excellent with a huge choice of hot and cold food. The hotel was well located a short walk from the Charles Bridge and Old Town Square.

This Hotel is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. It is in walking distance of all the main attractions and the staff are exceptional. They are so friendly and obliging, something that is hard to find these days. Our room was fantastic and I would and have recommended this hotel to anyone staying in Prague. The Breakfast is a feast and very tasty. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and if you go to Praque you are missing the highlight of your stay by not booking this hotel. We will be back and hope on our return that the hotel still keeps the fine standard that we had the privalige of being apart of.

We stayed at the Savic for 3 nights in room 204. It's the most beautiful room (suite) I've ever stayed in. STUNNING. The receptionist upgraded us from a standard reservation and gave us the room for our original reservation price, and she was very nice about it, saying to expect a 'nice surprise' when we entered our room. It was a nice surprise indeed, far surpassing our expectations. The TV mounted in the wall in the bathroom is a luxurious (unnecessary, but luxurious) touch. My husband said the breakfast was very good. It would be nice to have tea and coffee facilities in the room. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely stay again. It was very quiet considering how central it is (less than a block off the main tourist route, but far enough that you can see it but not hear it.)

Consiglio a tutti!

The Hotel is situated bang in the middle of the old town - which is an advantage as well as an inconvenience. The + your near everything on foot, the - it is noisy. The room we had was very spacious and the bed very confortable, room 205 you have to let the hot water tap run for 5-10mins before getting hot water.

We had an EXCELLENT STAY at the Savic Hotel. Lovely welcome. The staff was very kind and helpful. We had a problem with the electric installation in our room just when we arrived, and they quickly solved the problem and gave us a bigger room than the one we had before. Rooms are incredibly spacious; chic and smart decoration; new bathrooms; LCD TV; EXCELLENT LOCATION (just in the centre of Staré Mesto, Old City, in a very cosy street); EXCELLENT STAFF. Nice breakfast included in the price. Excellent quality price. Surroundings: Astronomic Clock and Staromestka Namesti, Charles Bridge, theatres, lots of restaurants.. The best hotel I have booked with Venere. No doubt, we'll return to this hotel in our next visit to Prague. I strongly reccomend this hotel to everybody, you'll be delighted, sure.
