Was good to stay in large room with lots of bunk beds. They had saved one room for the two of us so it was quite nice to have lots of space. Had no problems with noise but it is a youth hostel so I expected drunk guys coming in late at night. Was a bit hard to find as the entrance is tucked away.

Very good and convinient hotel with great facilities for cheep travel. You can find here wifi in every room, elektric teapot, microwave, simple dinner set. Among some of the shortcomings - signs of leaks in bathroom. In some rooms it would be nice to make repairs.

The hotel was nice, close to the city center, clean, breakfast was excellent, some of the personel was nice, but specially at the counter they are terribly unpolite and rude. The room was way too loud.

When I booked the hotel, I was searching for a simple and quite room close to the city center. And this was exactly what i got. The bathroom was definitely too small, the cleaning stuff do not entered my room a single time during my stay, but at least the price/quality was ok for 25€ per night and the location is very close to the center and the tram no 9 is 20m from the hotel.

We stayed in studio type room which was very satisfactory. I have stayed in hotels large and small all over the world but have never come across staff who went out of their way to help in many different ways. If ever I visit Prague again I shall stay at the Tabor. Thankyou all very much you made the problems I faced so much easier to deal with.

Excellent value for money having booked though the web site at a substantial discount. The building and the rooms had been refurbished quite recently, and were well decorated, with hard-wood floors and spotlessly clean. Whilst not in the centre of Prague, it is a convenient location for exploring Prague by public transport, once you discover it is right by a tram stop - the hotel is actually off the edge of the map provided by the booking web page! Reception and Breakfast is in the Golden City hotel on the other side of the road, but this is no problem. Breakfast was a basic but adequate cold buffet, with freshly made tea or coffee. Whilst the location is not the most salubrious, it appeared perfectly safe and because of the tram stop always plenty of local people about. Would certainly stay there again

The really don't give a damn about customers there. It is like they are doing all of us a favour not like we're paying and expecting to be treated at least decently. This place shows NO RESPECT towards the customer. We arrived late at night and the guy at the reception was really pissed off because we woke him up. He yelled at us and treated us like garbage. He asked us to pay for everything before we checked in. All this in a very uneducated manner and with a very aggresive attitude. They serve a breakfast "buffet" from 7am to 10.30 am. The personnel serving the breakfast doesn't have a clue about what customer service means, neither. At 10 they start closing up and cleaning everything. If you need more coffee or warm milk don't dare to ask for it! They will not attend you and will treat you like a piece of crap. The good things about the place are the following: - cheap - relatively clean - located in a neighbourhood with many "not-touristic" pubs and restaurants, many of them being really nice - the tram station is right in front of the hostel, and by tram you get to downtown in about 10 minutes - the girl at the frontdesk during the day shift is very nice and willing to help with any doubt you have

Hotel was very good value for money. Brekfast was very good too. Outside the main tourist areas but very easy to get to the centre of things with the tram running from outside the door. My only complaint would be that my room was at the front of hotel & I found it noisy at night as trams seemed to run quite late. Overall I had a great stay & would definitely stay again & would reccomend it to anybody travelling on a budget.

The hotel offer very good relationship between price/quality. Good location, very well connected to town center by tram; surroundings don't offer much, but are quiet and safe. If you arrive from airport with public transport and follow the hotel website instructions, be sure to get a map of public transport lines at airport because you might find some changes/interruption on tram lines. We were staying on last floor and our room had a terrible smell in the bathroom. Another bad thing is that smoking is allowed on each floor outside the rooms, but smell could get in our room coming from downstair floor.

Hotel was good. Great Breakfast and hotel handy for Tram to go to the center. Was not very happy with the Guy at the reception tho. He was not welcoming on the first day and came across as rude. Venere said that the hotel fee can be paid at the end of the stay so we didn't have the correct currency but the guy at the reception forced us to pay on the first day using our credit card. Was not happy about that.

I spent an enjoyable two days in Prague at this hotel but it was rather confusing pre-arrival and on arrival. The hotel owned two buildings in the same street and this was not made clear to us. When arriving at the correct building we were told we were going to be moved to another of their hotels, and just told the number and location of a tram to take! However, it was quite straightforward for us, but I wouldn't recommend the hotel do this to older, less experienced travellers. The new location was actually bigger and more central, being close to the Clock Tower and other nice sites for exploring. So that worked out well. The staff were lovely and helpful here too.

We can't say anything about residence tabor because when we arrived they said us there was no room available...however they gave us a room in the golden city hotel...this is our comment about it: -cleanliness just enough; -sheets and towels were sandpaper; -the room could be defined "bohemian"; -good breakfast; -good price; -good location (the block is not great but it's very easy to get the center by tram).

The Residence was great. The room was spacious, clean and new, we can eat there, it has a microwave. The breakfast waw far the best we have in our european tour. The only thing that I want to point is the bad manners of the employees. Specially the women in the breakfast area. The recepcionist wasn't very polite but at least not so rude.

Bathroom and room were really nice. Beds could be better but room had fridge and microwave. Receptionnist service was not really good. When we arrived in the evening, the man there was friendly but during the day and on our departure, the lady was quite unfriendly. Breakfast was really nice though, their staff is friendly and buffet is very nice. Public transportation is in front of the hotel and close to city center. I would recommend this hotel for a small budget. The overall stay was good. There was everything you need for a basic stay in a "good quality for cheap price" hotel.

Good hotel for the price. location wasn't exactly as close as i thought to city center but it was easy enough to get to with the tram and taxis weren't too expensive (but make sure to have either a hotel or bar call one for you) Never take one just off the street. Overall good stay, breakfast was included in price and was decent. Would consider staying here again. Unless i could get the same price closer to city center.

The staff was very helpful. However, we chose this hotel for it's laundry room which we knew we would be needing. That room closed for the weekend just as we were arriving. Fortunately, they did provide free wifi which we used to locate an excellent laundromat.

We stayed for 4 nights at residence tabor and it was a nice experience overall. The only downside was the wireless internet connection that didn't work inside the room. The internet was working in front of our room door so that was good enough.
