We stayed here for 6 nights in the last week of july 2013. We were fortunate that though we had booked a double room, we got a large room with four beds! the room was in a different building that the one in which the reception was located, but it really didn't matter since we did not have to go to reception except for when checking in and out. Breakfast was included and consisted of the same things everyday, but there was a decent variety - cold cuts, boiled eggs, juices, breads, tomatoes, butter, honey, corn flakes, milk, tea and coffee. The place was 5 minutes walk from the tram stations, which was a bit of a climb uphill. But from there the city centre was well connected - a ride of 5-10 minutes. The hotel itself was located in the Zizkov area, which has a large number of bars and restaurants. The wi-fi was weak in the room and was not working one morning, but worked in general. The staff was friendly Overall, we had a great stay and wouldn't mind going back there again.

Breakfast staff were angry, rude and most unfriendly, a caricature of poor service. Extra charges were applied to our card 3 days after we left the country. Staff agreed to book us a taxi for our 5.30 AM trip to airport, but none showed up. Weekends at this hotel are very noisy. Very disappointing. NOT a family hotel.

Parking was shown as available but no charge appeared until booking was made!We had two double rooms on top floor of second building up 102 steps but the wifi was unavailable most of the three days we were there and water pressure in bathrooms almost non existent. When these matters were raised and a refund of parking fees as a compensation was suggested response was outright refusal.Only one staff member on at most times was an issue especially to access car park or internet in the lobby. Basically a cheap and nasty approach rather than "budget". Would never recommend the Pension to anyone and would actively discourage potential customers due to lack of service recovery after issues were raised with staff.

This was a great choice, I am very happy with it. The hotel provided all I needed. Clean spacious room with private bathroom - shower and toilet, free wi-fi access for my laptop, there was even the possibility to do my laundry (made me very happy, because I was on the road trip for more than 3 weeks already and continued to Bratislava from here). Competent receptionist helped me with all my needs, adviced good places to go, reception also sells the public transportation tickets which makes it a lot easier for a foreigner, they also explained which ticket to use where. Overall I would recommend this pleasant inexpensive hotel (to people who do not search for luxury of course).

The room was nice and clean, but they never change the dust-bin and the toilett papers! The other problem was with the parking area. They had 6 places but 8cars were parking there infront of each other, so if you wanted to use your car you had to find out the owners of the other cars that's horrible! But generally I am satisfied with the hotel for that price!

It was all ok but 2 things: first, they required the payment of the bill in euro, payment in crowns has been accepted only for the amount obtained through an unfavourable change of the corresponding amount in euro; second, the worst thing, they charged my credit card (required for booking) by an unjustified cost (30% of the total bill!) at the booking time whitout saying nothing and requiring the total due when we left the pension.
