King Charles Boutique Hotel - Prague

Generally the hotel and staff efficiency are OK but no more. Many times nobody was at the reception and we had to wait for some assistance. But I think it's a remanining from communist mentallity. I WAS ALERTED BY PREVIOUS PASSENGERS TO ASK FOR BACK ROOMS AND THAT WAS GOOD BECAUSE THE FRONT IS TOO NOISY. HOT WATER SUDDENLY STOPPED.

Very welcoming, abundant breakfast, competent staff. not exactly in centrum but easy transport nearby.

This place was like stepping into a castle. I really liked it. Dont judge a book by its cover... once you go inside it is wicked. Staff are okay and breakfast is good. Good access to tram. Would recommend.

Generally a decent hotel and definitely good value for money. Let down by a couple of small things. The internet in the room didn't work (until I moved rooms). The breakfast is quite poor (but this is a general problem in Czech hotels) and the breakfast room was not kept clean of other people's dirty dishes. The hot water supply couldn't provide enough hot water to use the whirlpool bath, which was a shame. Ask for a room at the back - the front faces two roads, a main train line and a tram track and even the double windows don't make it really quiet.

Excellent hotel with very helpful staff. The price was very reasonable.

Location is not central. 7 tram stops from Charles Bridge. Breakfast at the hotel was good and included in our price. Personnel are most friendly and helpful. BUT - and this is a big BUT - because of the proximity of the railway line, the noise level at the front of the hotel is intolerable. Not for sensitive ears. If you must stay here, request a room to the back, which do not get the sun but are quiet. Excellent restaurant nearby is U Semika. Left and up the hill. Highly recommend. It is also a small hotel with very tasteful rooms.

Very good hotel, very clean and stylish rooms and good facilities. Only slight fact to get used to at the beginning: railway line not far away but two sets of windows provide good sound insulation. Can wholly redommend this place.
