The room was lovely, clean and cosy. The staff were excellent, letting us check in early after an early arrival. Highly recommended to anyone considering it. 10mins walk from town centre and bus station but never an issue if your active.

Good hotel with friendly staff and nice rooms. Clean modern bathrooms and tchech-standard breakfast. Shops, fast-food and Metro-station just a few meters away, 600m to Wenzels-Square. Free TV and WiFi, the people at reception got me a very reasonale priced taxi to Old Town. Nothing to complain about whatever, but: Only one big problem: Sokolska, the street the Tivoli-Hotel is facing, is one big LOUD street ! It's 4 lanes wide and almost always busy, with the windows open you can't understand your own word in the room if you're located on the first floor as we were. The room had no climate-control, but anyway you wouldn't want to open the windows because of the exhaust... So if they can't promise you a room with windows to the backyard (2 of 6 on each floor) don't go there. For the same price you'll get a hotel wich isn't located at Prague's most frequented street.

Colazione e pulizia ok. Da consigliare

The relationship between the price and the quality of the services offered is excellent. The location of the hotel is as described, that is 10 minute walk from one of the main attractions of the town. The courtesy is one of the goal of the personnel at the hotel. The rooms are comfortable and clean.

Excellent hotel, well managed. Location is superb. You can walk to downtown, and metro/tram stations are just minutes away. The only negative thing happened the night before our departure. Air-conditioning was cut off in the evening (about 8 pm). When I complained, the female receptionist claimed AC would be "automatically" cut off when outside temperature reached 25'C or lower. That was clearly wrong since the temperature then was way above 30'C. I argued, and the hotel turned on our AC again. Other than this incident our experience at Tivoli was perfect and we would not hesitate to stay there again. One warning: the day shift male receptionist didn't know where we could find a supermarket. We went to a shop on Sokolska (north of the hotel) and bought drinking water at about the same price found at the Castle, but we later managed to find an excellent supermarket just a few minutes' walking from the hotel -- walk south, turn left at Rumunska, and then turn right at Legerova. The supermarket, at the Legerova-Rumunska crossing, has a good selection of necessities at very low prices.

It was my first time in Prague and obviously in hotel Tivoli. Tivoli is a very good hotel, the room I got with my wife was nice , spaceous and comfortable. We enjoyed it a lot. Breakfast is very abundant. We coud go everywhere because of the metro just near the hotel. I'd come again if I'll returm to Prague.

The hotel is fine. The people at reception are friendly and helpful although not all of them understand English very well. It's still a bit of walk to the city centre though but it's doable. Anyway, there is an underground station close to the building and taxis are well affordable. The only downside to the hotel is the noise you get from police sirens all day and all night long. Breakfast was also fine. Although nothing special.

This hotel is fantastically located in the heart of Prague. In the New Town this is only a 5 minute walk to Wenceslas Square and only approx 200m from the IP Pavlova metro stop. The room itself was spacious and and comfortable. The bathroom was big and the room had a mini bar which was moderately priced. Only downside is the double bed is actually 2 single mattresses on a double base but this is quite common in Europe so it is not unexpected. The internet is free which is fantastic and they even have an exercise bike and weights machine if you have enough energy left at the end of the day. The staff at the hotel were fantastic and extremely helpful. I would recommend this hotel and would defintely stay here again.

The hotel is within walking distance from Old Prague and just one block from an underground station. The room was appropriate, but the heaters in the room and the bathroom were not working (fortunately the room was well insulated and it was mild outside for November). The staff were not overly polite. They did their job, and nothing more. Their English was limited. The breakfast buffet was limited, the plates of food were not replenished, and breakfast ended earlier than the time posted. I arrived half an hour before the end of breakfast one morning and almost everything was gone. The lady in charge of breakfast made some comments in her language which did not sound too nice and set up a table for me. I felt that I was disturbing her and was ruining her morning - even though there was still 30 minutes before closing time. The room was marvellously quiet and we slept very well. The location is perfect. But do not go for lively and interesting exchanges with staff. They are only employees, and they do not seem to care about clients.

The Tivoli is not in the very center of the city (just 3 metro stop from old city), but is a few walks (1 metro stop) from National Museum (Venceslaw Sqare) and very close to the underground station I.P. Pavlova, the surroundings are fairly good, with some restaurants and cafè. Unfortunately the hotel is situated between two big streets and so the rooms (recently renovated) are not very quiet, especially in day time. Breakfast very good. Prague is one of the most beautiful town in Europe, with a public transportation system (metro and tram) very efficient and clean.

The only "Glitch" was the wake up request for 5:30am was not made-the night clerk forgot to put down which room so the person on duty at that time had no clue.Fortunately we had a back up alarm on our cell phone. Breakfast was fantastic and it served as our lunch as well (ate a lot) Subway convenient, directions by subway perfect. Spacious bathroom. After travelling for the past 6 year in Europe using Venere-this is the best!

We reached Prague by train after 10 pm but were at the hotel within 20 minutes as it is the second metro stop from the station and then 3 minutes walk. Location is good as it is also just 10 minutes walk to the Museum at Wencelaus square or 1 metro stop away. Our room was facing the rear so was very quiet but much smaller than the front rooms. Breakfast was good. Internet was free. Reception staff was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay here.

The hotel only has twin rooms and does not have double rooms. Our booking was for a double room but we were given a twin room and assured we would be transferred to a double room for our second and third night. Clean, tidy, welcoming. Exactly what you'd expect from a good 3 star hotel. Close to the nearest underground which is suprisingly easy to negotiate, possibly better than the 20-30 minute walk to the Charles Bridge/town from the hotel (across some hairy roads) not complaining though just wouldn't recommend it to people who aren't mad keen on the walk, plenty of bars on the way though to break that up!!! Would definitely stay here again; reasonably priced too.

My stay at the Tivoli in general was great. The location is great, and the front desk personnel were very helpful. The only problem was the lack of parking, which would have been fine had I known what to expect. Parking was described as being on the street for 6 euro a day, or in a garage for 18 euro per day. This information was also included on my confirmation. I was surprised to learn that not only did the hotel not have parking, but that there was no parking within walking distance other than 2-hour max temporary spots. One day into the trip, the front desk clerk found another hotel with a garage for 20 euro a day for which I was grateful. Not having parking downtown anywhere is expected, except when heavily advertised online. I was traveling with 4 other adults and a baby in two cars, and I would have stayed elsewhere had I known about the lack of parking. Again, everything else about our stay at the Tivoli was great.

Attaverso il personale, sempre molto cordiale, abbiamo potuto prenotare diversi servizi(auto a noleggio, rientro all'aeroporto ecc.).Consigliato caldamente.

Slightly out of the centre but 2 minutes from both the Metro (I.P. Pavlova) and trams 18/22/23. Very easy to get to from the airport, using bus and metro (about 50 minutes in total). Area felt safe for single woman, some good places to eat within walking/tram stop distance. Wenceslas Square about 10/15 minutes walk. On a busy road, but the rear overlooks the back of other buildings, so it's quiet. My (rear) room was double-glazed, the reception/breakfast room (at the front) quadruple-glazed so front bedrooms may also be quiet. My (twin for one person) room was very clean and well-fitted, with a new en-suite, and T.V., safe deposit box (2 euros per night), mini-bar. The room thermostat worked well, and the room was as warm as I wanted it to be. Breakfast was the usual Continental; quite sufficient. The coffee was from a machine, not quite as good as freshly-prepared but adequate. There's a lift (5 upper floors and basement), a 'fitness room' with exercise machines and free internet access (one computer, internet not working when I was there). Staff are courteous and efficient, and speak good English. A good hotel for business travellers and for tourists (both were staying whilst I was there). Away from the potentially rowdy centre, but everything is easily accessible. Recommended.

This is a very nice and small hotel. The location is good, although it's 10-15 minutes walk from the historic centre. After a good dinner this felt too much :), but the price reflects this. We found our room a bit small, but it was very quiet. It's true that you have to ask for a room in the courtyard side, because the entrance of the building looks to a street with one of the highest traffic in Prague. I was hoping to have wifi connection, but your only option to use internet acces is one computer, open after 11am. We didn't find any problem with the staff speaking English. Our overall opinion is good and I would recommend this place.

I was very disappointed in this hotel and would not recommend it. Although it is about a 20min walk to the Old Town centre, it is in an ugly, run-down part of town - inexplicably, the area is full of hotels even though there are no services (restaurants, supermarkets) nearby. When I arrived, I was given a dark, dilapidated single room that STANK of sewage - there was clearly something wrong with the pipes. It was absolutely foul, I couldn't believe they expected someone to sleep there. Luckily, there was a double free on another floor which was cleaner. The room was worn-down, however, and the sheets were old, though the bathroom was decent. I tried to have dinner in the neighborhood upon my arrival, but there was nothing welcoming or convinient -only a few dodgy looking restaurants and a very creepy "variety" (read:liquor) store. Oh, and a lovely sex "supermarket" down the street. If I hadn't brought food with me from Vienna, I wouldn't have eaten at all that night. The staff were unable to complete simple tasks, like connecting my calls to my room. Breakfast was cheap, with rotting fruit cocktail from a can and bad coffee from an automated machine. Given that this hotel wasn't even particularly inexpensive, stay away from it and others by the IP Pavlova metro stop, spend the extra money, and stay right in the old town. Prague is NOT an attrative city outside of the tourist districts, and needs to seriously focus on cleaning up its streets and becoming welcoming to visitors.

We do not like that the Hotel charges 3 euros per night, for using the safe deposit box at the front desk.

We had a great time in Prague. This is probably one of the best deals you could get for a three star. The receptions are very kind. We had two kind of rooms, No.103 facing road side with shower for four nights and No.301 facing courtyard with bath for three nights. The room with bath tub was smaller than that with shower. We don't know how many rooms with bathtub they have.(We Japanese like bathing). The hotel is close to the subway station so We could vist everywhere which we intended to.

Just returned from Prague. We had a great time and the hotel was everything we expected. All major sites are within walking distance. The furthest was Prague castle(about 15 min walk). The hotel is situated on a very busy street but we requested a room to the rear of the property so it was very quiet. The hotel was excellent value for money compared to other hoteld closer to the main sites. We like to walk everywhere and prefer a hotel slightly away from the main areas. I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is very good for the price, not far from the train station and very close to the subway. Our room was clean and with good size, but the bathroom was not very spacious. Breakfast was ok. We would come back!

This was a short break with my daughter. Hotel quite central. Only 5 mins walk to wencelas square. Breakfast very good, staff very pleasant. Rooms quite spacious. Only complaint really was that the air conditioning was not on very much and it was very warm during our stay. Good central location but busy road outside so ask for a room at the back of the hotel.

The location is very good. A few minutes walk to tram and metro, and a few more to the town centre. Heavy traffic in front of the hotel in daytime; very quiet at night. Friendly and helpful staff even if the breakfastroom is quite small. - The airconditioner made some noise during the night, but with 30+ celsius outdoors during daytime we prefer the cooling. Earplugs is cheap.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tivoli. The room was well presented, clean and spacious. The staff were helpful although there was a mix-up with taxi ordering from airport and had to organize alternative transport. Breakfast was great at the weekend but not as well stocked during the week.

We had a great time at the Tivoli. We walked everywhere bout 10 mins to Wenselas Sq. Breakfast was good and eat as much as you like. Room was noisy at front of hotel but we slept ok having shut one of windows. Great place to eat turn left out of hotel and first left, its at the crossroads. Reasonably priced, clean and good food. Will visit again definite value for money

The hotel is small, but very comfortable and warming welcome. The room silent and clean (we stay on backyard). Really close to the metro station. I recommend Tivoli to the italian tourists: someone of the staff understand italian language.

I stayed in Hotel Tivoli for 2 days. Their service is generally good and the room was clean. But during the night they turned on the hot water radiator pretty late. On the last day I stayed, there was no hot water in the morning until after 8 am. I was not able to take a shower because I had to leave early.

This hotel worked out very well for us. Tivoli was located close to a subway station and had easy access to all of the areas in Prague we intended to visit. There isn't really anything to see around the hotel, but everything is within' easy access. The room was large and the facilities were clean and well kept. They provided free internet and that was a bonus. I have ONE real complaint. The price was fair, but not a real bargain and the beds were lousy. They do not have true double beds. They push two twins together, yet they still make them as two separate beds with separate twin sheets and blankets. While we're on the subject of sheets: The sheets were so rough they actaully gave us rug burns just from sleeping in them. Overall a pleasant stay. Change the sheets and get a few double beds and this is a truly GREAT hotel at a fair price.

In April I spent a nice short holiday in Prague which is a beautiful city. At Tivoli I was welcomed by a kind and skilled staff. I asked for a quiet, no-smoking, rear-room at the 4th floor and my choice was perfect because the hotel is on a very busy street in the new town. Venceslao square is at only 5 minutes walking or by bus or metro you can go everywhere. Food is delicious and not so expensive. The hotel is mostly intended for the couples and families with older children. The staff booked for me a cheap taxi service from/to the airport. I would like to come back one day and, why not, overnight at Tivoli again. Have a fantastic stay!

We were 7 in a family celebrating the father/brother beeing 60. May be a little bit early in the spring. It was good to wear warm clothes. But coming from Norway we were prepared. It is so many places you want to visit in Praha and we didn't reach all of them. So I'll think we will come back later on. If so we will try to get a room in the same hotel. And for booking hotel later on it's a good chance that I will use venere.com. Everything went smoothly. Thank you.
