Nice hotel! Close to the metro. Unfriendly food attendant but dont mind it as she dont speak english (how can u urgue or get mad to a person who dont understand u :) ). Nice breakfast but better to come early for a heavy breakfast to taste their scramballed eggs n fruits as they will not replenish the empty bowls after 8 (no more fruits when i went down for breakfast i also informed the food attendant pointing the bowl of the fruits). No hot water around 8 am onwards maybe plenty of people are taking a bath. My room is in front of the street thats why its a little bit noisy but since im so sleepy who cares:) better request to stay in lower floor as the elevator is so slow going up n down (im on the 5th floor). Lastly i made a reservation via venere but when i arrived they cant find my reservation despite i presented my printed confirmation booking n called them before my departure. So glad they are not fully booked. I might come back but if i can find a hotel close to metro "muzeum" it would be great as its a little bit far from the tourist attraction but if u like walking this hotel is a good suggestion.

Loved the location of this hotel. A few minutes walk from the Prague Museum and Wenceslas Square. Walking to most attractions was not a problem. Breakfast provided was good and we were greatful for the afternoon or early evening tea and cookies. The only negative was parking which was very expensive.

Great value. About 10-15 mins walk from the Museum and Wenslass Square, making it another 10-15 to the old square. We had a room at the back - very, very quiet. Only niggle with room was a poor shower head holder (how often is this the case !!), but everything else was quite new and very clean. We paid ahead so had a good rate. Very close to underground (<5 mins)so ideal location.

make sure you stay at the back of the hotel not the front as it is extremely noisy as it is on the main drag, we had a back room which was very quite not like my brother and his wife. Also they didn't have a television in their room and were told you'll have it tomorrow, which of course never came. We were there 3 nights.

The day we arrived in the hotel, the reception gave me a room not cleaned, i told the man at the reception desk, he told me that i couldn't have a room with the same facilities he wanted to give me a room on the street, i said i didn't want so after a while, he told me that he could give me the same room but at the fourth floor, i agreed and it was very cleaned, and we had a fantastic week end, it was a very good time in this hotel, people is ok and it's near the town center...

If you are looking for a bargain, no frills place but still comfortable enough for a short stay this is for you. The location is great(metro station around the corner), the rooms are comfortable, size is okay (by European standards), breakfast is very basic (except for a selection of pates). The hotel is old but still in good conditions. Other advantages: there is a mini convenience store acroos the street (for water etc) and a bar around the corner that serves excellent artisan Czech beer and so inexpensive!

Good hotel with friendly staff and nice rooms. Clean modern bathrooms and tchech-standard breakfast. Shops, fast-food and Metro-station just a few meters away, 600m to Wenzels-Square. Free TV and WiFi, the people at reception got me a very reasonale priced taxi to Old Town. Nothing to complain about whatever, but: Only one big problem: Sokolska, the street the Tivoli-Hotel is facing, is one big LOUD street ! It's 4 lanes wide and almost always busy, with the windows open you can't understand your own word in the room if you're located on the first floor as we were. The room had no climate-control, but anyway you wouldn't want to open the windows because of the exhaust... So if they can't promise you a room with windows to the backyard (2 of 6 on each floor) don't go there. For the same price you'll get a hotel wich isn't located at Prague's most frequented street.

Colazione e pulizia ok. Da consigliare

Excellent hotel, well managed. Location is superb. You can walk to downtown, and metro/tram stations are just minutes away. The only negative thing happened the night before our departure. Air-conditioning was cut off in the evening (about 8 pm). When I complained, the female receptionist claimed AC would be "automatically" cut off when outside temperature reached 25'C or lower. That was clearly wrong since the temperature then was way above 30'C. I argued, and the hotel turned on our AC again. Other than this incident our experience at Tivoli was perfect and we would not hesitate to stay there again. One warning: the day shift male receptionist didn't know where we could find a supermarket. We went to a shop on Sokolska (north of the hotel) and bought drinking water at about the same price found at the Castle, but we later managed to find an excellent supermarket just a few minutes' walking from the hotel -- walk south, turn left at Rumunska, and then turn right at Legerova. The supermarket, at the Legerova-Rumunska crossing, has a good selection of necessities at very low prices.

The hotel is fine. The people at reception are friendly and helpful although not all of them understand English very well. It's still a bit of walk to the city centre though but it's doable. Anyway, there is an underground station close to the building and taxis are well affordable. The only downside to the hotel is the noise you get from police sirens all day and all night long. This hotel is fantastically located in the heart of Prague. In the New Town this is only a 5 minute walk to Wenceslas Square and only approx 200m from the IP Pavlova metro stop. The room itself was spacious and and comfortable. The bathroom was big and the room had a mini bar which was moderately priced. Only downside is the double bed is actually 2 single mattresses on a double base but this is quite common in Europe so it is not unexpected. The internet is free which is fantastic and they even have an exercise bike and weights machine if you have enough energy left at the end of the day. The staff at the hotel were fantastic and extremely helpful. I would recommend this hotel and would defintely stay here again.

The hotel is within walking distance from Old Prague and just one block from an underground station. The room was appropriate, but the heaters in the room and the bathroom were not working (fortunately the room was well insulated and it was mild outside for November). The staff were not overly polite. They did their job, and nothing more. Their English was limited. The breakfast buffet was limited, the plates of food were not replenished, and breakfast ended earlier than the time posted. I arrived half an hour before the end of breakfast one morning and almost everything was gone. The lady in charge of breakfast made some comments in her language which did not sound too nice and set up a table for me. I felt that I was disturbing her and was ruining her morning - even though there was still 30 minutes before closing time. The room was marvellously quiet and we slept very well. The location is perfect. But do not go for lively and interesting exchanges with staff. They are only employees, and they do not seem to care about clients.

The Tivoli is not in the very center of the city (just 3 metro stop from old city), but is a few walks (1 metro stop) from National Museum (Venceslaw Sqare) and very close to the underground station I.P. Pavlova, the surroundings are fairly good, with some restaurants and cafè. Unfortunately the hotel is situated between two big streets and so the rooms (recently renovated) are not very quiet, especially in day time. Breakfast very good. Prague is one of the most beautiful town in Europe, with a public transportation system (metro and tram) very efficient and clean.

a nice quiet hotel in an area not too far away from all the attractions of the city, staff were friendly and helpful and our room was nice and clean and as described in the hotel information.

Clean, tidy, welcoming. Exactly what you'd expect from a good 3 star hotel. Close to the nearest underground which is suprisingly easy to negotiate, possibly better than the 20-30 minute walk to the Charles Bridge/town from the hotel (across some hairy roads) not complaining though just wouldn't recommend it to people who aren't mad keen on the walk, plenty of bars on the way though to break that up!!! Would definitely stay here again; reasonably priced too.

We had a good time in Praque. The city and the hotel made that things where perfect. All was great in the hotel. A nice and clean room, everyday clean towels and a perfect breakfast-buffet. We had a room at the backside of the hotel, very quiet. A friendly staff. This hotel is recommendable in the condition we had. Perfect location, we walked all things but at the corner there was a metrostation and also the tram. Near all the touristic things. We like to visit it again.

All in all - very good. Dense traffic in the area is not their fault, but carpeting, curtains and windows (I'm talking about rooms) could be cleaned without much effort. Personnel is really very proffessional, competent and welcoming, the hotel is well situated.

My stay at the Tivoli in general was great. The location is great, and the front desk personnel were very helpful. The only problem was the lack of parking, which would have been fine had I known what to expect. Parking was described as being on the street for 6 euro a day, or in a garage for 18 euro per day. This information was also included on my confirmation. I was surprised to learn that not only did the hotel not have parking, but that there was no parking within walking distance other than 2-hour max temporary spots. One day into the trip, the front desk clerk found another hotel with a garage for 20 euro a day for which I was grateful. Not having parking downtown anywhere is expected, except when heavily advertised online. I was traveling with 4 other adults and a baby in two cars, and I would have stayed elsewhere had I known about the lack of parking. Again, everything else about our stay at the Tivoli was great.

Great deal for a Prague hotel. No fault of hotel, but parking situation is ridiculous. Had to pay $48 per day to park my large van at train station 5-6 blocks away. Nobody at hotel was able to offer a solution. Come to Prague, but come to Prague by train and use the convenient metro.

A really great hotel. Close to major sites (within 15 minutes walking distance of King Wesceslas Square) if on a rather busy street. I had a quiet, non-smoking room at the back of the hotel. Helpful staff. The breakfast is fabulous (even more selection on weekend days than the abundance on weekdays). Absolutely worth the price. Really, really good value for money.

Attaverso il personale, sempre molto cordiale, abbiamo potuto prenotare diversi servizi(auto a noleggio, rientro all'aeroporto ecc.).Consigliato caldamente.

Hotel Tivoli is only a couple of minutes walk from the Metro station and is on a busy main road. The receptionist was helpful and we were in our room within a couple of minutes. Our room was at the back of the hotel, so we got some sun in the morning and no noise at all from the road.

Slightly out of the centre but 2 minutes from both the Metro (I.P. Pavlova) and trams 18/22/23. Very easy to get to from the airport, using bus and metro (about 50 minutes in total). Area felt safe for single woman, some good places to eat within walking/tram stop distance. Wenceslas Square about 10/15 minutes walk. On a busy road, but the rear overlooks the back of other buildings, so it's quiet. My (rear) room was double-glazed, the reception/breakfast room (at the front) quadruple-glazed so front bedrooms may also be quiet. My (twin for one person) room was very clean and well-fitted, with a new en-suite, and T.V., safe deposit box (2 euros per night), mini-bar. The room thermostat worked well, and the room was as warm as I wanted it to be. Breakfast was the usual Continental; quite sufficient. The coffee was from a machine, not quite as good as freshly-prepared but adequate. There's a lift (5 upper floors and basement), a 'fitness room' with exercise machines and free internet access (one computer, internet not working when I was there). Staff are courteous and efficient, and speak good English. A good hotel for business travellers and for tourists (both were staying whilst I was there). Away from the potentially rowdy centre, but everything is easily accessible. Recommended.
