I am so happy to live here!^_^ Very nice place close to tram NO.9 and Andel metro station. Room is quiet and clean(at the back of the building). Breakfast is simple but adequate. The staff are friendly and helpful. They offer a lot of maps, figure out my problems on the WIFI and even delivery post cards for me.PS.I think it is needed to add some directions on the web page about how to get to hotel from metro station.

Very nice place to stay. The room was lovely, and very spacious and comfortable. The hotel was quiet, reception open 24 hours (great because our flight was delayed.) Breakfast was simple, but had variety and was good. Located about a 30 min walk from city center, and this part of town is a little questionable, but the hotel itself was very nice. Great price for what we received.

Very noisy from main road traffic in front bedrooms.

Great little hotel very close to the number 9 tram, which takes a little over 5 minutes to get you into the heart of Prague. Also a 5 minute walk from the metro. Two minutes walk away from the Andel area, which has a large shopping centre. Staff were VERY helpful and pleasant.

The room was clean and quiet and the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, they really were very hospitable. We would definately visit The Tiepolo again.

The hotel was very easy to find with a GPS.We had some difficulties to go in the car park because of the short entrance. The hotel is 2 minutes walk from a tram station. Paying by mastercard is a lot more avantageous than paying by cash (cz) because of the rates. Go near the Charles' bridge to change your money!

The staff made the difference for us. They were young (college age), absolutely eager to help us and very pleasant. They bent over backwards for us, which was greatly appreciated. We speak only English and they did an excellent job of communicating with us. The room was good, though not great. Very large, which was nice, but some flaws that should be repaired. However, these were merely cosmetic and didn't impact our stay. For the most part, the noise level was good. There was a loud party among multiple rooms on the floors beneath us, but the noise was muffled some between floors. The biggest issue we had was the location. It was much farther from the city center than we anticipated, and the immediate neighborhood leaves something to be desired. All in all, though, a very good stay and a good value.

I enjoyed my stay and the service provided by the hotel staff. My only reservation was upon payment (in Czech Kruna ) I was initially asked for considerably more than my bill should have been and I questioned this and my bill was amended and although I was given a amended bill it was still more than the conversion rate as I checked, I did inform the staff of this without satisfaction. I would use the hotel again but would be sure to pay in euros as this is how they price their rooms.

My girlfriend and me were very happy staying in Tiepolo. We felt at home. The staff is lovely, young and really helpful. The breakfast complete... and the situation is handy to any place with continuous public transports...thought you can get to center and the castle area by walk, really nice actually.

This hotel was very good and clean. The employees are young, nice and very helpful !! Good breakfast and beautiful clean rooms with TV and kitchen ! The garage is quite small, so it's difficult to enter if you have large cars. The surrounding area is not very raccomandable, but in 2 minute walking you're at the metro/tram/bus stop. Great relationship between price/quality !!

accès au parking très étroit (pour voiture familiale), personnel à l'accueil très gentil, par contre la douche n'était pas très propre, le savon des prédécesseurs était encore collé

Family of four staying in a quad room. Quite spaciuos and with kitchen and bath. Good quality of room (rather newly refurbished) and helpful staff (missing linen in room and hot water problem when showering in the morning). Very satisfied with price/performance (compared to another stay in Prague last year). Also ok location with several restaurants and shops within walking distance.

There were 3 of us, my cousin and also my daughter, and we enjoyed not only the location but the price and staff. The staff was always more than ready to offer help in sightseeing. We walked with carryon luggage from the subway station (a hefty little walk but not too bad). The closeness to trams and the park was handy. There is an elevator for those who need one, but we would occasionally use the stairs to walk off the great Prague food. Our kitchenette room was delightful and in the back which afforded us a very quiet sleep. The staff arranged a taxi to the airport on our last day and that was so convenient. I will return again to this hotel.

Front desk friendly people, very nice room. Close to a metro station and shopping center. Rates very reasonables and worth it. The location is not very interesting, but easy to get to more interesting places in the city.

I have stayed on Tiepolo during three days. Surroundings are not excelent but the Hotel is close to a tram station that leads just one stop to Andel metro station where´s a large shopping center near. People at the reception desk are very nice, they furnish a lot of maps and options for sightseeing tours. The overall price to performance is good. I have recommended this hotel to some brazilians I met during my trip to Europe. PS: Be aware of some people that offer change in the streets, they will confuse and trap you especially trying to change an 2,000 bill for 70 euro, that 2,000 bill is not valid because it is old bulgarian money. Change money only in banks and in many authorized offices that you can find at almost every street downtown.

We were so happy with our stay at Tiepolo! It was a little bit far from the center, however it is near several public transport options, so that was no problem and was actually quite pleasant. Tiepolo is in a small neighborhood with several non-touristy neighborhood restaurants to eat at, and some shopping as well. For Tiepolo itself, the staff was lovely--I understood that they were students, and they were very friendly and solicitous of our comfort. They were also helpful in arranging tours and taxis and those sorts of things. The room was surprisingly large!! More like a small apartment, really. We calculated the cost to be about $24 per person, which was perfect for us. Breakfast was very nice. This is NOT a fancy place, but it was quiet and welcoming. We were the only guests in the place during this time, so I can't speak to how quiet it might be during the high season. However, we found Tiepolo to be lovely, clean, accomodating, quiet, comfortable, and just what we were looking for on our vacation. We'll be staying there again.

This hotel offers first rate accomodation at a very agreeable price. It is situated close to the mainline Andel metro and a giant late open shopping Mall. This Mall is useful if you wish to use the mini kitchen attached to your room. You get a discount for return visits.

Very welcoming and helpful staff. Help us with directions, tram numbers etc. The only complaint I have is that although our room was non-smoking you could still smell smoke from other rooms. It was only a mild smell but I have a sensitive nose. Apart from that I really enjoyed my stay. The kitchen was handy and breakfast was nice. 10/10

Tiepolo is an OK hotel. The location is somewhat aside from the city center, but for those who walk alot anyway while travelling cities, it was an opportunity to see Prague from that side also. Clean and quiet (we had rooms facing away from the street). Simple but adequate breakfast.

Pulzia delle camere e prima colazione da migliorare. Buona la posizione in quanto a 1 minuto di strada a piedi si trova la fermata del tram nr.9 che ti porta direttamente in centro.

I stayed on my own, the room was too big for one person. a lot better stay with friends or family. brackfirst was good, though. the hotel is located within walking distance from Andel station, you can also take trum from the station, No 4.

We were a family group of 7 adults and stayed in two rooms on one of the upper floors. The rooms were more than satisfactory although carting heavy luggage upstairs was a chore. However the staff were very helpful and assisted with everything from suggesting walking tours to parking of our vehicle. An older more modest hotel but very close to the old city. We would return.

Quiet, clean, spacious apartment fitting 2 couples. Well located on the outskirt of Prague with secure car parking (small extra charge). Easy to catch the train into the center of Prague and also to the airport.

Recently renovated with some work still going on. Overall effect is pleasant. Room a little small for 4 but ok. Parking very tricky due to narrow entrance passage but possible. Location is reasonable and not far to walk to central areas. Some staff very helpful, some almost useless.

Big room and bathroom, small kitchen with necessary equipment. Room ath the back of the building was quiet (except of some noice from gas heater in the kitchen, boy when windows at the front can be noisy. Breakfasts simple, but OK. Free of charge wireless internet, but signal at 3rd floor very weak. Friendly service. Surroundings not very nice, but close to Andel metro station with big shopping center. Very narrow gate to the parking. Tiepolo is very good offer for this price (at least compare to other offers in Prague).

The Hotel was nice, like I saw on this site. The location was near a big metro station and a big commercial area. The Quietness was good, in the room there was a kitchen, the welcoming also except one thing: on this site I red the Tiepolo employees can speak italian, but first when I arrived I asked them "Do you speak italian?" and them "No, sorry!". The price I paid was the same I red on this site. Anyway I spent a good time in Tiepolo, so my advice is to go there!!!

A nice hotel. Our rooms on the top floor had a spacious bedroom, a nice shower-room and a self catering kitchen fully equipped. Breakfast was a sumptious selection of foods self service. The hotel is on a side street so can easily be missed if walking to it. It is about 10 minutes walk from Andel metro station. The staff speak English [you will find many Prague things in Czech/English eg metro tickets and signs]. Avoid 'western' places like KFC if you want bargain eating out prices! Andel metro has a giant supermarket nearby. We recommend Tiepoli most highly and they offer 20% off when you stay there again.
