Notre séjour au sein de l'hôtel Smaragd s'est bien passé, même si la localisation de l'hôtel n'est pas idéale. En effet, il faut compter environ 15 minutes à pieds pour atteindre l'arrêt de tram et encore 20 à 25 minutes de tram pour arriver en centre ville. Les chambres sont propres et bien équipées, et le petit déjeuner, présenté sous forme de buffet, est copieux. Il est important d'avoir toujours sur soi le numéro de téléphone de l'hôtel. En effet, bien que la réception soit en principe ouverte 24h/24, nous avons failli passer une nuit dehors!! La personne responsable de l'ouverture de la porte s'était endormie et il nous avons attendu 20 bonnes minutes avant de voir arriver quelqu'un!!! Enfin, le personnel de l'hôtel parle peu l'anglais et se montre souvent à peine aimable. Inutile d'attendre un sourire ou autre marque de cordialité!!!! Pour les personnes voyageant en voiture, l'hôtel possède un parking gardé.

How to reach Hotel Smaragd

By car
From the main highway E50 Plzeň-Praha-Brno, follow the southwest direction towards the Barrandov quarter. Exit at the Filmové ateliéry Barrandov (the film studio) sign. The hotel is 250 metres ahead on the left hand side.

By public transport
Tram numbers 12, 14 and 20 stop at the Barrandov-Center-Barrandov stop, located 500 metres from the hotel.

By airplane
The Prague-Ruzyně airport is located 15 km from the hotel (a 15-minute car ride).

Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE". In this case, the total amount of your stay will be charged to your credit card by the hotel at the time of booking.
