Solid hotel, poor location

Room was very spacious but faced front on very busy street which was noisy. It was a little walk to get to middle of town (square) but just a short walk to subway (public transportation). Contentental breakfast was adiquit but not the best. Service was high quality, friendly and helpful.

Perfect hotel! Near metro station, free wifi access, clean and spacious room, free breakfast and nice staff. I will definitely choose it if I'll be in Prague again.

I prefer to be in the middle of things. Too far to walk. Nice place, nice people, tho.

The hotel is situate in a very good location. Ten minutes to wenceslas square (on feet). Breakfast was very good. My friends and I spent a wonderful week here. The receptionist was very very very nice ! I think that i will return in this Hotel one more time before the end of the holidays ! WE RECCOMEND IT TO ALL !!

We drove to Prague and expected some difficulties finding the hotel but it was extremely easy. Parking is tricky, but the receptionist arranged a place for our car in a covered garage near by (500 CZK a day). The hotel is situated on a very busy road but we got a silent room, facing a court. Our room was spacious - we even had a kitchenette - with a comfortable bed and good shower. The price included an excellent breakfast too. The only unpleasant thing was the noisy air conditioning unit which kept on turning on and off during the night. Besides that I would highly recommend the hotel as a good value for money accommodation, walking distance from the main tourist attractions.

It's a great hotel. I especially liked the bread at the breakfast. Ask for the room on the back side if you want some quietness at night. Staff was very helpful with all our requests. Beds were amazingly comfy. About 10 min walk from the national museum. Overall good value.

The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable as well as the shower and toilet. The breakfast is good. The location it's at 10-15 minute walk to the center. The price of the room was really good and you can see it in the quality of the hotel. I recommended to young and mature couples, as well as to families, groups for leisure or busyness.

This hotel is quite simply a great find! It is an easy walk to old town, the castle etc. It is on a very busy street, but that is part of the charm of being in a European city. The hotel is charming, the beds were very comfortable and clean.

The room was large, clean and comfortable. The staff very polite and helpful. Good breakfast. Adjacent to metro and tram. Walking distance to Weceslas Square and Old Town. Resaurants nearby. Great value for the money. I paid 65 euros/night for three adults. Only problem was heavy street noise. Try to get a room on the back.

IN A GOOD LOCATION WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE TO WENCESLAS SQUARE. THE SIZE OF THE ROOMS WERE A PLEASANT SURPRISE AND THE HOTEL PROVIDED A GOOD BUFFET STYLE BREAKFAST. VERY HELPFUL STAFF AT A PARTICULARLY DIFFICULT TIME (STRANDED DUE TO ASH CLOUD).

Room was huge with own kitchen and very clean. Included breakfast was great and the staff were really helpfull.

Excellent quality/price ratio!, it is relatively close to the main turistic areas and entertaiment endroits. Rooms have a lot of space!. The public computer was not working fine, that is the only "negative" comment I would do ;).

We would return to this hotel without hesitation (actually we are returning this fall). The staff was friendly and very helpful in assisting us on sights and restaurants. Centrally located to and from everywhere. The food is very filling and good coffee. If you are wanting quiet, ask for rooms in the back that overlook a courtyard. Prague is such a beautiful city with old world charm, fabulous food and the citizens are the best. Enjoy your stay at Hotel Residence Select, it is truly worth the money and more.

Very spacious double room with small cooking area. A ten/fifteen minute walk into the main square probably a bit too far for small children etc, very close links to the trams and metro. The staff were extremely helpful providing local maps/directions and metro travel (which is really easy and cheap at approx £4 for unlimited 24 hour travel - well worth the money).
