1) two points to improve the hotel room: -darkness of the room; because there is a lot of light on the street during night so darkness is not enought -quietness: the street is very noisy so the windows can be improved for the quietness 2) one point to improve your reservation system: on the receipt you give for the reservation it is never mentioned that the hotel price includes the breakfast, but this is mentioned on your internet site (there was no problem with the red lion hotel, the reservation was including the breakfast but we had no proof in case the hotel will have said the opposite) Kind regards, Isabelle Cesard

Lovely building and smashing and very spacious room. Not in the centre on Prague, but all the better for that as you can escape the noise and the bustle. Up a steepish street, so not for those with walking difficulties. Very generous and lovely breakfasts. Happily go there again.

This is an excellent value and very conveniently located. The site at the foot of the castle and near the St Charles bridge and subway connections is very handy. Staff is friendly and helpful and speak fair to good English. Breakfast is more than adequate and just downstairs. The front rooms while large and well-appointed are noisy with the windows open. The back rooms if available would be better regarding street noise. Far better than many rooms I have had in Europe and a good value. Definitely would use again.

The hotel and it's location was excellent. If it's hot you can't have the windows open as the noise from the street will keep you awake. There is no air conditioning. I stayed in room 30 and the bathroom was very small and not the best. It worked but could do with a re-fit as it was tired. The room itself was great, very big and great views of the castle.

Hotel is quaint,clean and old but certainly not a luxury hotel. Everyone was very nice and helpful but not necessarily knowledgeable.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE". In this case, the total amount of your stay will be charged to your credit card by the hotel at the time of booking.
