Red Chair Hotel (U Cervené Zidle) - Prague

Very nice and cosy hotel, new stylish furniture, plenty of room, recently refurbished; friendly and helpful staff. Full breakfast, parking facility inside (but expensive), excellent position.

POSITIVE: central location to everywhere; friendly and competent staff; rooms OK. NEGATIVE: so central that it's extremely noisy! If you leave the windows opened you won't believe it, you can listen everyone passing by the hotel! So better if you bring ear plugs otherwise you won't sleep, even though the double glass windows! The breakfast is OK but not too assorted and after a couple of days it can be a bit boring. Horrible coffe from an electric machine. Anyway, in front of the hotel there's a good coffe bar and many other ones in the square by the hotel (Betlehem Square)where you could get a good coffee in the morning. By the way, don't forget to visit the "Choco-Café" just under the hotel. They make many incredible types of hot chocolates and cakes!!! Believe me, it's worth a visit!

I've been to Prague many times, and the Red Chair Hotel is my favorite yet! Great location close to Charles Bridge and Old Town Square, yet on a quiet side street away from tourist noise. Extremely friendly, helpful staff ready to assist you any way you might need. Large, well-furnished rooms. All in all, a wonderful place to stay! I will return to the Red Chair when back in Prague!

Such a friendly staff!!! Greatly located! Next time in Prague, we will be back at this hotel for sure!

My husband and I loved The Red Chair! Charming, convenient to everything, clean, friendly, helpful, incredibly fast internet connection, the works. The only thing we would ask for next time (and we hope there will be a next time) is a room either higher up or not looking out on the street as occasionally some groups of drinking and singing carousers interrupted our peace and quiet. And make sure you try the Klub Arkitectu restaurant around the corner for dinner and their own Red Chair Chocolate Cafe for a snack and great chocolate and tea selections.

Receptionists Johanna and Premysl were excellent hosts. They helped us with the bookings to Cesky Krumlov and were just incredibly friendly and warm. It was a great stay there cos of wonderful people like them.

A wonderful, small hotel staffed by friendly, enthusiastic, willing and very competent people. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. We, - my wife and I, were referred by the hotel to good restaurants and a great jazz club, Bily Konicek. The location of the hotel is ideal for exploring the old town.

It was new year and my wife and me had a great time in this wonderful family owned hotel in this gorgeous fairy-tale city. Location location location. The staff are so friendly, helpful and all are always smiling.
