Lovely place to stay in Prague, right near the Charles Bridge and town center. Clean, spacious, room (we had a triple, easily a quadruple) on top floor that was very quiet, with a large bathroom. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We were met at the airport by J, which started our holiday off wonderfully. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful (ask for directions to vegetarian restaurant a few blocks away), and provided transport to train and airport. Only problem: no lift, so if you have a lot of luggage, or can't manage stairs, you will need assistance here. HIGHLY RECOMMEND the restaurant directly opposite entrance if you would like a special 5 star treat.

The hotel met our expectations in general. Be aware of the very small parking place. The douche was mounted in an inconvenient way so it was difficult for us to use it. All the rest was pretty ok, very good location.

The hotel has a very good location (5 min to the old town square). The rooms are very confortable, clean, nice, calm and spacious. The girls at the reception are very very nice, helpfull and welcoming. The breakfast is very good. We were a group of 4 friends and we really enjoyed our stay there. I will definitively recommend this place!

This is the third time we stayed at the Red Chair Hotel. We liked the hotel because of the location and the friendly staff. We feel it is somewhat overpriced.

Good and recommended hotel in Praga, old town. The only reason to not choose this hotel is the impossibility to climb the stairs, because is not available an elevator to reach the rooms. For the rest, the description that you can find in intranet is correct and complete and the rooms are comforting and clean. The strengthness of the hotel are the position in a calm zone, but next to the greatest attractions of Praga and the friendliness of the persons of the hotel. They are well prepared and very polite. The hotel offers a comfortable service of transport to / from the airport or the rail station; for a reasonable price, in line with the major companies of taxi, you can to reach the hotel without stress making a first tour of the town. The prices are exactly what you have agreed upon without bad surprises, in fact exchange is always base on the rate of the national bank without additional cost and fees. When you will have visited some restaurants and shops in Praga, you can understand better my comment.

This is an ideally located (right in the middle of old town), very, very clean, cheerful, and welcoming small hotel, with a very, very thoughtful and intelligent staff--young people with a polite, easygoing mood. Rooms are immaculate and bright, but no-nonsense. If your purpose is to visit a rich, interesting city and culture with the purpose of exploring its life and history, this is where you want to stay in Prague. Old Town, New Town, Jewish Town, Charles Bridge, Lesser Town, and Castle District are all within simple walking distance. Price is reasonable, breakfast/coffee service are ready when you are, and staff could not be more pleasant and helpful, happily answering rookie questions but also displaying impressive knowledge of art and history.

We stayed in Prague for 4 days and had a wonderful time at the Red Chair Hotel, which has a perfect location and is staffed by incredibly helpful and knowledgeable group. Our room was very clean and comfortable and next to the Choco cafe with endless delicious chocolate options. We especially appreciated the help of the airport pickup/dropoff driver, Premysl, who included an impromptu tour with fascinating details about Prague's history and architecture. We highly recommend the Red Chair!

My sister and I were very pleased with our accommodations. The hotel was conveniently located, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the room was spotless. The only problem we had was that the shower didn't drain very well; otherwise, our stay was perfect.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here during Valentines 2013 and had a great stay and overall a fantastic weekend! The staff at this hotel is amazing; from the welcoming to the goodbye there is nothing to complain about. They do everything they can to help and answere any question, very friendly and polite! The location is perfect, you are just a few minutes away from the old town square and all the attractions. Restaurants and pubs just outside of the hotel entrance. Ask the staff for good places for lunch - we got really good tips to taste "the real" food at a restaurant without tourists and good service and amazing food! The only thing that was not good with the stay was the noises from the street outside of our room during night time. Groups of people and cars, this is not the staffs fault and if you don't wake up easily this wont be a problem. We will come back for sure!

This hotel is a real gem! The staff is very warm and welcoming, and ready to help in any way. On check-out we had to leave before the breakfast hour, but we were still provided a breakfast. The hotel is within easy walking distance of most major attractions, and located on a quiet residential street. The hotel itself is in a charming old building. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the housekeeping staff made sure we had everything we needed. We would most definitely stay here again.

Perfect location We were so glad we selected the Red Chair. It is perfectly located between the Charles Bridge and Old Town (just a short walk to either one) on a very quiet street. We did not look at the web site before the trip, otherwise we would have arranged a cab from the train instead of walking in the pouring rain a few blocks from the tram. Premasyl welcomed us with open arms, and gave us the low down on where to eat, what to see, what to skip. There is no elevator so he carried our bags up one floor to our room (actually he ran up the stairs with the heavy bags). The room was large with a huge bathroom and a comfortable bed. The breakfast at the Red Chair is the very best: breads,(and a toaster) meat, cheese, pastry, yogurt, eggs, chocolate, sausage, cereal and juice. Our travel companion noticed the empty vase in the room and asked for flowers to be delivered, Premasyl made sure there were roses the next day. We took Premasyl’s advice and had dinner at U Knihovny and enjoyed a great duck dinner. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to everyone. We booked through Venere so I dont know if the prices on the web site are accurate or not??

Such a perfect location and accommodating staff! Specifically calling out Premysc (I'm not sure I spelled his name right). He was at the front during the days and was always SO wonderfully nice, energetic and helpful. I traveled with my good friend and we're in our early 30's looking to have fun while still seeing the city. Our last full day we asked him for brewery recommendations to take ourselves on a little tour. He gave three great recommendations and we had such a fun afternoon. The staff was so wonderful providing us with tips about the city including restaurant recommendations. Breakfast was provided every morning with many options including fresh breads, granola, cold cuts, yogurts, juices, coffee...we never had to eat out for breakfast! The rooms were great. Very good sized, comfortable beds, pillows and comforters. VERY CLEAN. The bathroom was very nice too, but the shower was a bit small. I didn't find that to be a big deal, only a bit laughable. The water pressure was awesome so it didn't matter. Very secure, too. Totally recommend! Wonderful location and the staff is such an asset. The price was also exceptional. Have them arrange cars for you to and from for airport/train station. Cheaper than cabs and much nicer. The cabbies will rip you off if you allow. Stay here!!

POSITIVE: central location to everywhere; friendly and competent staff; rooms OK. NEGATIVE: so central that it's extremely noisy! If you leave the windows opened you won't believe it, you can listen everyone passing by the hotel! So better if you bring ear plugs otherwise you won't sleep, even though the double glass windows! The breakfast is OK but not too assorted and after a couple of days it can be a bit boring. Horrible coffe from an electric machine. Anyway, in front of the hotel there's a good coffe bar and many other ones in the square by the hotel (Betlehem Square)where you could get a good coffee in the morning. By the way, don't forget to visit the "Choco-Café" just under the hotel. They make many incredible types of hot chocolates and cakes!!! Believe me, it's worth a visit!

I've been to Prague many times, and the Red Chair Hotel is my favorite yet! Great location close to Charles Bridge and Old Town Square, yet on a quiet side street away from tourist noise. Extremely friendly, helpful staff ready to assist you any way you might need. Large, well-furnished rooms. All in all, a wonderful place to stay! I will return to the Red Chair when back in Prague!

My husband and I loved The Red Chair! Charming, convenient to everything, clean, friendly, helpful, incredibly fast internet connection, the works. The only thing we would ask for next time (and we hope there will be a next time) is a room either higher up or not looking out on the street as occasionally some groups of drinking and singing carousers interrupted our peace and quiet. And make sure you try the Klub Arkitectu restaurant around the corner for dinner and their own Red Chair Chocolate Cafe for a snack and great chocolate and tea selections.

A wonderful, small hotel staffed by friendly, enthusiastic, willing and very competent people. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. We, - my wife and I, were referred by the hotel to good restaurants and a great jazz club, Bily Konicek. The location of the hotel is ideal for exploring the old town.
