Hotel President - Prague

Had an amazing stay here this weekend, had ordered two normal delux room (their cheapest), when my mother arrived a day early she was upgraded to a fantastic spacious room. Me and my sister arrived the next day and by then, mum had asked if we could have a room close to hers. They were a bit hesitant, but gave us the room right next to her, with connecting doors and it was a corner room, with a 180 degree view. It was by far the greatest room I've had, ever. (no wonder they were a bit hesitant...) The bathroom of the second room was the size of a one room apartment! I actually felt that the pictures of the hotel and rooms where unjust to how it actually was. The staff was mainly very friendly and helpful, We had bought a bottle of wine before coming and had forgotten to bring an opener, that was no problem, ran to the bar and we lent the bartenders (had to bring it back fast though, cause it was his personal ;) ) Did spa treatment which was good, (hurt like hell, but think that was the idea...) Overall I can not praise the hotel enough! free breakfast and free wifi certainly add to the impression! And the beds were good, not to forget!!

Great stay. However don't opt for a room overlooking the river. Too much road noise at night.

The view on the castle was no proposed in the réservation and there was a road betwenn the restaurant and the river VLTAVA.

Hotel well located (next to the Intercontinental Hotel)and 3 blocks from the main square. Our room had an excellent view of the Prague Castle. Breakfast is good and waiters have great attitude. The Concierge was extremely helpful and efficient. Get them to book dinner at Kampa Park Restaurant, best dinning experience in town.
