Hotel Pivovar - Prague

Good :)

I stayd in a dobbelrom. it was nice and clean a littel bit loud when som teen girls hade a singing contest in the night . butt thath i hade in the morning and the Review from them is a litle loud in the morning.

Hotel molto carino e pulito. Colazione internazionale inclusa e abbondante. Unico problema: molti rumori di passaggio a causa dei muri sottilissimi delle stanze. Consiglio tappi di gomma isolanti per dormire.

The main problem with Pivovar Hotel is that rooms are very noisy. You can hear when people in other rooms open the doors or walk. The breakfast was good and the location was close to a metro station/

The location is good, even because the subway and the bus station are near. Unfortunately there are not many pubs or else entertainment nearby the hotel.

Hotel is far out from centre, but easily accessible by underground (tha station is 250 metres from the building). Room was small, but bathroom was larger than I expected and the conditions were eccellent, considering Pivovar is a 2 star structure. Staff was kind, professional, 24 hours service. Also breakfast was unexpectedly good, various and abundant on a self-service base. Negative aspects: to access the hotel you need to go up a lot of stairs and also to reach the rooms: no lift. So you need to pick up your luggage and carry it. Ok for a young strengthy boy but surely not for an elderly couple (surely in that case, offering a tip, the staff would help). Other important negative aspect: the floors are on woodden axes so you can hear the people on top of you moving about (and to me it happenened that the family upstairs had a very early flight..). Then walls are thin so you can hear other people's conversation. But my overall impression was positive, you need small spirit of adaptation. The distance from the centre wasn't a problem (there is also a night tram that takes you back when the underground is closed). I would surely return there if I had to go back to Prague, because I'm a person who doesn't go after luxuries, I was treated well and the price of the accomodation was very very good.

Very welcoming. Staff were most helpful, even sending me information about Prague's transport system before I arrived. An excellent restaurant next door. Overall, great value for money.

Sono rimasto molto contento del mio alloggio al Pivovar. L'albergo che ricorda vagamente un ostello ma sicuramente più confortevole e pulito è situato fuori dal centro di Praga,ma essendo collegato con la metro a soli 300 mt e vari bus e tram (anche notturni N52 e N54)risulta essere molto tattico per raggiungere le mete principali del centro e offrendo cosi una soluzione ottima e molto economica visto il caro alberghi di Praga al centro. La zona è tranquilla anche di notte visto che non è particolarmente abitata ,cmq è sempre bene fare attenzione di notte all'uscita della metro visto che nelle vicinanze c'è un giardino che in tardo pomeriggio si popola di alcuni elementi poco ragguardevoli ma sicuramente non pericolosi,in ogni caso la prudenza non è mai troppa! La struttura è bene organizzata;c'è uno spazio comune dove ci si può rilassare su divani guardando tv oppure navigando su internet a prezzi abbastanza onesti,inoltre ci sono distributori automatici di bevande(acqua,birra coca-cola, thè e cioccolata calda...) a prezzi veramente modici!! Le camere ovviamente sono abbastanza piccole e con letti separati(!), ma tuttosommato con un pò di organizzazione ci si stà bene, il bagno molto comodo e pratico. La cosa fantastica è alla mattina la colazione a buffet, praticamente puoi mangiare di tutto dal dolce al salato fino a sazietà con le cameriere che si apprestano sempre a rinpiazzare i vassoi vuoti. In conclusione non posso che consigliare caldamente questa struttura in quanto il rapporto qualità/prezzo è veramente alto; ovviamente non ci si deve aspettare una struttura ricettiva tipica di un 3 stelle! Si paga direttamente all'arrivo e per i pagamenti con carte di credito (compresa postepay)applicano una commisione del 3% sul totale complessivo dovuto. Inoltre, mi sento in dovere di consigliare a tutti un ristorante che si trova proprio vicino all'albergo, "ALCHYMIA" da non confondere con quello interno dell'albergo...si mangia veramente troppo bene e in abb

The only one little problem, they don't accept credit card payments...

The property was in an office complex area which had a secure fence and security guard. the rooms were very clean although austere and there was a lot of noise in the corridors probably due to a large group of American travellers, who were noisy and loud all night , not the fault of the hotel. apart from this is was very acceptable.

Sometimes you have the feeling to be in a youth hostel because we seemed to be the oldest in the breakfast room....

Hi! Really perfect! Open 24/24 with veeeery friendly staff ;) The only thing that wasn't good: the noise in our room, which was situated just next to the breakfast room!! But the rest was really perfect, the metro and the bus is only at 2minutes! The staff was always smiling and you can buy drink at the hotel :) Write me if you want to know more (I speak better german and french!!) ;-)
