Hotel Perla - Prague

A very nice hotel in the excellent location, with very competent and helpful personnel. They really helped us with different excurions and advice. Breakfast is good. What I did not like is the constant presence of the kitchen personnel at the breakfast room. I should not see them so much, I believe. Otherwise, everything is very satisfying. I would really recommend other people to stay at the Perla hotel!

Excellent boutique style hotel in the very center of Prague. Friendly and very helpful staff. Stylish rooms, nice sauna and gym. Great breakfast. Exchange house with very good rates was nearby. Only 2 things overshadowed our stay at "Perla": 1. Ladies who cleaned up the rooms never cleaned the floor under the beds, so it was a little bit dusty. 2. The room was too cold when we checked in and it took the whole day to make it warmer. No central heating, just air conditioner.

We were a group of 8 friends for a weekend. The hotel was excellent and the location couldn't be better if old town is your target. Rooms were really nice; clean and modern design, and we used the hotel's airport pick-up service (which I can recommend both in price and convenience). Nice sauna, good breakfast with reasonable opening hours, pleasant hotel bar. Areas of improvement could be: A little more english skills and knowlegde to recommend good restaurant of the staff, add mini-bar in the rooms. However, the whole experience with the hotel was great.

Great hotel! The room is very modern and confortable. The bathroom is little but very nice. In general everything was perfect. Great breakfast and the decoration fantastic. The location of the hotel is central and you can visit the most important tourist attractions walking.

Très bon hotel, chambre design,très bon acceuil, attention de la direction pour l'anniversaire de ma femme... parfait pour un week end en amoureux. Le service de navette pour l'aeroport est parfait lui aussi. Je conseille vivement cette adresse. Nous y retournerons lors de notre prochain voyage.

New hotel in a central location made it very convenient to visit both Old Town and New Town.

Wonderful stay in this hotel. Only problem was that we were wake up at 8h in the morning to ask us to change room ... would had been fair enough to let us know the day before. But apart this small thingthe location of the hotel is perfect, everything is in the room, people are really nice and Prague is worth !

Good in general, book in advance to great better rates. Very well located, just the staff is not very friendly.

La Perla is a recently opened (July 2007) boutique style hotel in the heart of the Prague action. It is right around the corner from St. Wenceslas and about 15 min walk from the train station. The establishment is surrounded by shops, pubs and great restaurants. The room has a euro-funk type decor with plenty of space to move around. Breakfast is included and is one of the best I've had in Europe. There are lots of hot and cold options and the dining room decor continues with the clean modernistic feeling. The only thing preventing me from giving this hotel a 5 star is the shower. It has that uniquely European concept of a glass wall that only goes about 1/3 of the way across the bathtub and the shower itself is the handheld style. So essentially you have to stand on top of the drain spout, with your back to the corner and hold the sprayer to rinse off or you will flood the bathroom floor. It is not possible to suds up or shampoo without putting down the sprayer and shutting off the water. What a hassle! I'm not sure why the hotel didn't simply design a small step-in shower with a fully closing door. Besides the shower everything else at La Perla is fantastic. You can't go wrong staying here!

A wonderful and design hotel in the center of Prague. A place to go if you like modernity and comfort.

The hotel was excellent! We never had any problems. The hotel surrondings were great:there is a wonderful pizza restaurant and an exchange house with very good rates nearby. I strongly recommend it.

Hotel nuovissimo (aperto il giorno del nostro arrivo) servizio perfetto, disponibilità e velocità nel risolvere i problemi causati dall'apertura. Raccomandabile per un soggiorno di relax.

Before travelling Perla hotel sent a e-mail told me about the works in the hotel and made a proposal for a similar hotel -Yasmine Hotel - paying the same price. The hotel was excelent.

The Hotel Perla that you see on here with the address is not the real Hotel Perla. I was a young female traveling alone in Prague from the train station. I walked all the way from the train station to the address, to find tape on the windows with a sign that said "This hotel is closed for renuvations. Please visit (such and such address) for your reservation.) Needless to say, I was furious and scared. They told me to go to Hotel Jasmin, which was only about a 10 minute walk. However, Hotel Jasmin was not on my map, so after 45 minutes of walking around, about to break down, I finally got ripped off by a cab that drove me all over Prague when it was only a few blocks away. Once I got there it was gorgeous and perfect, but I was extremely dissapointed that Hotel Perla did not post this on the internet prior to me coming there. Hotel Jasmin did not have any pity on me either, though I'm not sure I would have expected it. The food was amazing, the room and bathroom was amazing, perfect location, very safe- great hotel- NOT HOTEL PERLA, but Hotel Jasmin. I will never trust Hotel Perla again. Any recommendations I make are only for Hotel Jasmin!
