The room we stayed in was quite a distance from the entrance and we had to take an elevator and walk up a long flight of steps to get there. The room was however spacious (a junior suite) though the ceiling were low and the toilet and shower were separate rooms opposite sides of the room (quirky but cool). The minibar, tv, couches and bed were all a high standard, but we skipped the expensive breakfast. The location couldn't be better for walking to all the best attractions. The Charles bridge is RIGHT there and the town ctr is 5 minutes on foot. Good hotel the only knock is perhaps the price being a bit much.

I have traveled throughout Europe and typically stay in 4 to 5 star hotels when available in the cities we visit. I don't consider Pachtuv Palace a 5 star hotel in line with hotel standards. I would never stay here again!! It was nearly impossible for our family to reach us despite their attempts at different times in the day (even the operator couldn't get a response, no one was manning the phones) Our first night there, my daughter stepped on a big piece of broken glass which was on the floor, which housekeeping neglected to see when cleaning up from the previous guest. Upon checking in we were told our breakfast was included. We had a good breakfast the first morning, but the second morning after breakfast the server became very rude and insistent on us paying. I tried to explain to her we were told breakfast was included and we were not asked to pay yesterday we got a lot of eye rolling and argument from her. Eventually they agreed. The only friendly and helpful staff member was a young woman who had only been working there for 2 weeks, I hope she lasts because she is the only person that resembles a glimpse of what 4 or 5 star service really is. I can't believe this hotel is rated as in the same class as the Four Seasons Prague, which I have stayed at and Pachtuv Palace doesn't even come close in comparison.

Absolutely AMAZING hotel!!! Rooms are stunning, staff are extremely friendly and always willing to help whenever they can!!! The best hotel we have ever stayed in!!! The hotel is outstanding value for money, but be warned that you are asked to pay an extra £400 (approximately) on top of the price of the room when you get there, just in case you have anything from the mini bar. If you don't then this is refunded when you leave!!! Other than this it is the most amazing hotel, perfectly placed by the bridge, giving stunning views, and just a short walk to the old town and all of the gorgeous shops!!!

all in all ok hotell, but the room was more expensiv upon payment than indicated and breakfast is charged with 20 euro pr. person and is poor value for money. espesially if you have tried danish and norwegian breakfeast... Staff was very freiendly, so all in all if you don`t travel with children I will recomend it

fantastic location, nice staff. driver to train stattion didn't know exactly where he was going, and staff wasn't as helpful with restaurant recommendations, etc. Overall, a great place. highly recommend.

This must be one of the very best places to stay in Prague. A newly opened hotel only 150 metres from the Charles bridge and with marvellous service. We had a room with a splendid view over Vlatava, the bridge and the castle.
