the hotel is not new so it needs to keep in mind when choosing. clean rooms are average. floor in the bathroom and toilet were not washed after cleaning time -were still dirty. soap was over but cleaning ladies did not give the new. ended toilet paper - did not give a new one. on the first day Mr at the front desk could not find reservation after number, at the hotel extra had to print a confirmation to finally get the key. receptionist was unpleasant. when it comes to silence it depends on who is staying at the hotel. the third day at night were children running through the corridors and about 7 am workers noise. the rooms are a lot of space. hotel is in a good place. tramway is next to the hotel - 5 stops and you're in the center. across the street super restaurant, pharmacy, ATM, bakery. but on the other side of the hotel sleep homeless. internet in room is for extracharge.Generally super because of these drawbacks do not disturb me.

The hotel is big, but they give us a room besides a conference room, was terrible, and the staff simply don´t know nothing about nothing, poor, very poor. Kind of decadence. The Tram is exctly front off hotel. If i go back to Prague I´ll choose another one.

Nice place to stay. Excellent for price paid. I would highly recommend for those who would like to spend more and have a comfortable hassle free stay. Breakfast is average. Rooms are clean, but without any English language channel in TV. They don 't change bedsheets everyday, but overall clean place. I would stay again there if I will be in Prague again.

I think this hotel and the price is nice. It is suitable for family and people who travel in a big group. We stay in the family room with 2 rooms, it is short of like a small apartment. I think how they arrange the room is good, so we can still have our own privacy and also can still have great time together.. However the beds is not so nice, and the pillow is quite small for me.. But overall I like this hotel.

The hotel is clean and the rooms are fine. The only thing I would suggest you is to pay in cash, I got charged twice on my credit card, today after three months of my stay I am still having problems with Visa to get my money back. Someone at the hotel used my credit card details and re-charged me the day I left the hotel.

Worst hotel I have stayed at in years. So smoky that I had to stuff towels under the door, and still had three asthma attacks. Loud in rooms. On main street near tram. Shower was clean, good water pressure. Overall, it was old, dingy, cheap, but fairly clean. Breakfast was okay. Would not stay again.

An excellent budget priced hotel in a good location. A small 2 roomed suite for a grown family with private facilities and a reasonable buffet breakfast, 5 minutes by tram to the city centre from outside the hotel door or 1/2 hour down hill walk is not to be passed over.

Hotel was very good, Tram just outside and Mall/Metro 5-8 mins away. Staff welcoming and room was a lot better than the picture, very good value for money and would definately stay again. The breakfast was, well not quite sure what to call it, rubbish. No variety, hard stale bread, often ran out of things like tea/coffee a long time before breakfast was finished. Some very strange things offered like mixed boiled veg and soup (leftovers from the restaurant the night before?)

Prezzo molto conveniente. Albergo molto grande, ampi spazi (la quadrupla aveva due stanze separate), servizi ridotti all'essenziale (per es. no frigo bar, no phon, sì TV e tel).

We stayed only one night in Prague. This hotel is an excellent value for money. I would recommend it for other travelers. The only thing is that it is somehow far from the hystorical center of Prague. I would also recommend the staff to try to provide a map of the hotel, as well as indications on the transport means (which we did not receive). Breakfast room is not very well organized.

The hotel is not called the Congress Sports hotel so it is difficult to find. The people at the front desk are rude and uncaring and assist the taxis in attempting to rip people off. The door handles pull off the door, if you turn them. The breakfast is poor quality. It may be "just a few blocks to the trams...but they are up a steep hill. Everything, including the items they say are included, is an additional charge if it is actually avaiable. Do not stay here.

*Hotel room was very good. I found it very difficult to get to the hotel from the railway station but that is not the hotel's fault it is more a matter of the lack of service provided by the information / tourist centres at the railway station. It took me 2.5 hours to get there with all the misinformation and lack of assistance. Hotel itself was good although some of the staff were a bit gruff (Czech Republic has not fully made the transistion into the competitive world yet). Good restauarant over the road at reasonable prices. The sign on the Hotel is "Osanka Hotel" and not "Congress & Sport Hotel Osanka" so was a bit confusing until I got some good local advice. Gym facilitirs and pool available at a cost vbut at odd times of the day

We reserved our rooms online. Upon arrival, the reservations were not acknowledged. The host asked us to make the reservations again. She was planning on charging us for use of the internet facilities after she could not find our reservations. She then asked us to use the hotel's computer to remake the reservations. I pulled up my account confirmation from my email in order to prove that i had made the reservations. She was short and condescending with me and my friends, not just upon checkin, but throughout our stay. I was not satisfied with the way our reservations were handled.

This was my first time staying at Hotel Congress and Sport Hotel Olsanka and I'd stay there again. I've recommended it to all my friends because its location is fantastic, only 5 metro stops from Prague city centre. Some staff members do not speak as much English as others but they can still be understood. The breakfast was buffet so we ate as much as we liked.

The Hotel ist a typical remenant of the Cold War Period. Staff is doing its duties and thats it. as a visitor you get the feeling that you are slightly considered as a nuisance. Also we had problems with parking. The hotel offers facilities, bat they were not available. When we asked where we could park the car, they could not offer proper instructions. so we parked in the street near a blue parking sign that said parking reserved for residents, but the impression that hotel guests could park there was wrong. We got a ticket.
