Sincerly I found the hotel very confortable, with all you may needed and in a wonderful position, near all the main things to visit. Praha is marvellous and Hotel Leonardo is great as the city. Also breakfast was complete and various, and we also had dinner in the restaurant, we loved it ! Goodbye, see you soon we hope!

Great hotel, very big rooms for Europe, good location next to the river and in the old town but very quiet if you have an inside room. The staff was very friendly and helpful; we had a kitchette which was nice. The breakfast is wonderful and the breakfast room was cozy. We had some great food at nearby restaurants frequented by locals.

We were very pleased with the quality of the Leonardo in relation to the cost. The hotel is also well placed for some of the main attractions in Prague, being very close to the old town, the Charles Bridge over the river and also the trams. Five minutes walk takes you into the main bustling, but friendly centre of Prague. The staff were very helpful with providing information and directions to various sites around Prague. Nearly all the staff spoke good English fluently. The breakfast was excellent with a good selection of hot and cold foods, everything that you could wish for to set you up for the day. If the hotel is full you may find that the cellar breakfast room is very busy within half an hour of opening and you may not get a table. If it is full you will have to wait or have a table set in the courtyard which can be quite pleasant, weather permitting. The hotel bar does not stay open after 11:00 pm, which made for a peaceful nights sleep ready for an early breakfast and the next days sightseeing. There was a special menu available each day in the hotel restaurant which was competitive with some of the better restaurants in the town, saving the walk. We tried this one night and both the food and service was excellent.

The reason for our stay was just leisure. The hotel is a beautiful building and the inside is lovely designed. Nice and spacious rooms. Located in a very quiet part of Prague just 5 minutes from the very famous Charles Bridge and only 10 minutes to the Old Town Square. Everything within walking distance. The breakfast was a delight. Mgmt an personell very friendly.

My ratings of the city and hotel out of 10: Prague = 8 Recommended #days in city = 3+ Leonardo Hotel: Hotel Quality = 7.5 Location = 8 (a quiet area just south of the Charles Bridge and Stare Mesto) Service = 8 Food = 8 (breakfast included) By now you already know that Prague is worth a visit. One day each for the old downtown, castle district, and the parks is worthwhile. While it may not be as refined as Paris, it does feel a little more exotic with narrow winding streets. In particular, the castle, bridge and old town square are spectacular at night. The Leonardo hotel was quite nice but the street was a little desolate later at night.

The hotel is minutes away from the Charles Bridge. Quiet area. While we were there in early June, it rained so much that flooded the basement of the hotel where breakfast is served but hotel managed to serve in another room. The hotel serves a healthy breakfast and a section for organic foods (dairy, pies,...)

This was our first visit to Prague. This hotel is in an excellent location, just 5 minutes walk from the Charles bridge and not much further from the Old Town Square. The staff are well versed in English and very polite, competent, helpful and friendly. The breakfast is outstanding with both English and continental offerings (or a combination), as much as you want. The hotel has a restaurant, which we did not use but looks attractive with a good menu, and is in easy walking distance of a wide variety of restaurants. Our room was very quiet but I would expect that rooms at the front, overlooking the river would suffer from a lot of noise from trams running on the street between the hotel and the river. For some people the view of the river would be more important than quiet surroundings. Air conditioning during a very hot spell of weather was adequate and we actually turned it off for the last 2 nights. I thoroughly recommend this hotel and will stay there again.

Hotel is very central, big and yet very calm. We were on the third floor (top floor) under the roof, small but very cute room with a kitchenette. We saw some other rooms with a mezzanine on the same floor. The air conditioning was working perfectly. The room overlooked the courtyard where there is a nice little fountain, with tables around for breakfast. The only problem was to find a place for breakfast, there were not many tables. The staff was extremely helpful and in general all Czechs are very nice and kind.

The transportation between the airport and the hotel was not honored by the hotel; the air conditionning was not working and was not repaired in the two rooms occupied by us and by another couple travelling with us; the safe in our friends room was not working and was not repaired; this hotel is well situated and offered a good breakfast;our rooms(mezzanine style) were situated on the top floor and the access to the bed level was difficult ( the ceiling was very low at the top of the stair and the stair was very steep ).

Overall an excellect hotel. The rooms were large, comfortable, huge bed. One or two things like window latches and bathroom fittings needed fixing but didn't effect our stay. Location excellent, not possible to see the Charles bridge but literally a minutes walk to it. The bar and restuarant were poor, not really a place you could sit in and enjoy since there was no atmosphere. Didn't see one person in the bar our whole stay. I paid for the room at the end of my stay on a different card and the hotel DID NOT RETURN THE ORIGINAL DEPOSIT AS THEY HAD INDICATED. I booked the trip to Prague for my wifes 40th birthday and have to say the trip was excellent. The hotel was really convenient for walking anywhere in the city. The room was unusual with a split balcony bedroom. This was to give more space in a small footprint area. It worked pretty well but I wouldn't want to descend the very steep stairs after too many pilsners. Breakfast was very good and the staff were very helpful. We didn't get tea and coffee facilities which seem to be mentioned on the web site and the hair dryer didn't work but was mended when it was mentioned. Overall a lovely hotel and total value for money. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice central hotel.

On the website of Leonardo, it says "ADSL internet connection" but it doesn't say that you actually need to bring your own computer. The reception doesn't have a Internet computer available to the guests, which was kind of a surprise to me. This was kind of a setback, since I would expect a Hotel in this pricerange to supply something simple as this for their customers.

Your web site was great in that it enabled me to locate a hotel in the specific area of Prague that I wanted. The location of the hotel was great but there were a few problems. In your ad you had mentioned "free taxi service from/to airport or free city tour for two" They said that was only for their full paying customers (I thought we had paid full price!) and that perhaps you .....Venere... had cut and pasted that info from their own web site??? The free taxi ride was one of the reasons I had settled on that hotel so was disappointed. There was no water for part of the hotel when we arrived so choice of rooms was limited. No hot water for bathing the first day and the hair dryer didn't work the second day. We were woken around 4am by young people returning home and singing in the street. I would look for alternative accomodation when I return to Prague.

The Leonardo is really a 3star+ hotel and not quite a 4 star. Our bathroom on first appearance looked very modern and nice but we soon realised that it was not finished to a high standard and both the mirror and towel rail where coming off the wall. We had to ask for toilet paper which was not sent up to us but was replaced when the cleaner serviced the room. We also had to request fresh towels on one day as they had not been replaced. Lastly the site states that they provide free travel too and from the airport. This is only for people that book through their web site and not for Venere customers. Otherwise the hotel was very pleasant and the breakfast was very good.

Hotel Leonardo is in a great location near Charles Bridge, Old town square and main attractions. We were given a room at the top of the hotel, which had a main lower area with lounge and bathroom, and an upper attic style bedroom. We had a room for 2 nights in early July. Unfortunately, while the room was air-conditioned, the hot air in the room was trapped under the eaves of the roof where the bed was located, so the cool air from the air conditioning was never able to reach us, so it got a bit warm at night. However, that is the only problem we had during our stay.

The jorney in Prague was really good beyond some troubles with waiters at restaurants. Concerning the hotel Leonard, it was very good. I recomend for everybody. Bed, Bathroom, Cleanliness, etc are very good. The location is perfect.

We have absolutely nothing to complain about. The room we got was spacious and quiet, had tea/coffee-making possibilities(even possibilities to cook which we wouldn´t recommend as the restaurant in the hotel was excellent)in a separate kitchenette. The breakfast buffet was delicious and generous. We have already recommended the hotel to friends intending to visit Pragh. Located in central Pragh.

Incredible value for money! A great hotel near to Charles Bridge and within walking distance of all the main attractions, but not at all noisy at night. The staff were friendly with good English and the breakfast was fantastic. I would definately stay there again. There's a great little bar just up the road too!

This is a great hotel in a really good location; in the centre of Prague and only five minutes from the Charles Bridge. The service was very good and we would highly recommend this hotel.

Plus side: large, clean, well appointed room/apartment in recently refurbished hotel, tasteful & stylish decor in public areas, courteous & helpful staff, superb location, plentiful & varied breakfast available. Slight downside: next door building also undergoing refurbishment, so some noise from construction work; hotel doesn't accept travellers cheques (like most of the city) so take a credit card or equivalent.

We were six ladies over 55 and arrived by minibus from the airport where we asked for a price before the journey. We were allocated our rooms which were more than expected. Mine was like a suite with a large bedroom, tv and two easy chairs. A kitchen area contained a sofa bed with a 2-ring cooker and full size fridge, with kettle etc. A table was provided with another 2 chairs. The room was clean, spacious and very tastefully decorated to a high standard. The bed was very comfortable with lovely white crisp cotton bed linen. A must for my sleeping habits! Upon striding outdoors the following day we couldn't have expected a better location being very close to Charles Bridge and everything else was in walking distance.....and for 6 ladies knocking on a bit.....it made life a bit easier! The price we were quoted on-line was the price we paid, with no surcharges or added taxes. 960 euros for 4 nights for 6 people was just brilliant! I did think Prague would have been cheaper than I envisaged. Clothes etc were not the best prices in the small designer shops, but wine, local beer and restaurants as cheap as chips. We ate at one restaurant which included a drink for as little as £3.00. Apparently Prague after communism, is coming into line with other European cities due to the fact that the country's taxes was 3 per cent until January 2005 when it was increased to 19 per cent! If you stick to local wine and beer (ask for a pilsner not a lager) it's all very inexpensive. Prague is a beautiful cultural city and even in the bitter cold it was enjoyable wrapped up in hats, scarfs and gloves. The weather was very kind to us, even though it was cold we had no wind, rain or damp.....just clear blue skies. We all agreed it would be nice to visit once again in warmer months. We visited Monday - Friday and most tourists were couples, but weekends are different with many stag parties etc. We saw many parties arriving when we were leaving at the airport for the UK.

This hotel was great. Very well situated in the city, you can visit Prague easily. The room was nice and spacious; the breakfast was excellent...

This hotel was fantastic value. Our room/suite had a very large, comfortable bedroom, a separate lounge/dining room/kitchenette with full sized fridge, which was very handy, and a relatively small but perfectly functional shower room. The hotel's location is excellent for walking around all areas of Prague. The buffet breakfast was excellent and extensive, with hot and cold food offered, in large variety. If I went back to Prague I would book here again without hesitation.

Having been to Prag several times before, this is by far the best hotel we have stayed in.The location is perfect, the people there are friendly and speaks English very well, the breakfast is good and (at least in January)the price is a bargain (especially quality vs. price). All in all, a great experience to be recommended.

Excellent location, right next to Charlesbridge in the old town. All points of interest in easy walking distance, didn't usea taxi or tram once. Hotel is newly renovated, rooms were clean and well equipped. Bit small maybe, and, as we stayed in the converted attic, they had very small windows. However, a great stay at a great location!
