Our biggest issues were that there really is no shower capability although the literature said that there was a shower in the room. ANd it would cost about $10.oo and 10 minutes of work to make the modification by lengthening a hose attached to the shower head and providing the shower bar so that one could stand under the spray head! The floors were filthy!

We travelled 8 friends together and got 2 familierooms at "U Kocku". It couldn´t be more central, but therefore also at lot of noise from the street in the night. The breakfast was good, but the restaurant in the building served food who isn´t any good.

I stayed in Prague four days. The web page gave the price of 90,00 € per day (it means 360,00 € per four days). Really, I was asked, for all the period, to pay 9720,00 CZK by Master Card(it means 390,09 €).In addition, I was said that the price woul have been as the web page only if I would have paid in euro, by cash. Meals were good and cheap everywere.So, it would be better to clarify that the web price for Hotel U Kocku is to be considered only paying in euro by cash.Best regards, Pietro Visco.

Ho passato una breve vacanza ad Agosto, la stanza era molto bella e grandissima, la posizione centralissima i dintorni meravigliosi, la colazione ottima, il prezzo buono. I contro: la zona è rumorosissima con gente che canta e strilla tuuta la notte e senza aria condizionata bisogna tenere le finestre aperte..., al contrario di quello che viene pubblicizzato il garage non c'è, ti mandano ad un garage pubblico parecchio distante, non c'è praticamente spazio comune il pianterreno è occupato da un affollato ristorante, su tuuto regna una certa confusione.

Muy cerca de la Pza de la Ciudad Vieja, habitaciones espaciosas, ideal para familia con niños, no aire acondicionado solo 2 ventiladores en agosto hacia calor, pobre calidad en el desayuno y en un ala del hotel no hay ascensor y a unos amigos les toco subir 4 pisos sin ascensor y con las maletas. Al pagar nos hicieron el cambio a coronas checas un cambio elevado y en vez de pagar 500 euros por 4 noches nos cargaron 532 € por no pagar en efectivo!

this has not parking. the empoyer simply put in your hand a map of praga pointing on a public park in which there are not reserved places by this 'hotel'. the room's safety box has wrong instruction on and it can be opened by a simple key they give together the room's key, instead by number combination. to reach the lift, the slowest and most unconfortable I have ever seen, we must walk trought restaurant's table. the breakfast is too poor and not served at the table. the television set didn't work cause there are not instructions to use it. the hotel's change doesn't exist. they, alike for parking, send you to a change office not to far from. public areas consist in a 3x3 room in front of receptionist desk. really a bad experience to live in this hotel for three days.

L'hotel U. Kocku si trova in pieno centro storico, dietro la Piazza Vecchia e sulla via Karlova. Ottima l'ubicazione, anche se la collocazione sulla via centrale di Praga ha il limite di risentire dello schiamazzo notturno. Cortese il personale anche se sempre differente. Varia e abbondante la colazione.

best Hotel ever! Ha decisamente contribuito a rendere la nostra vacanza perfetta,gode di una posizione impagabile,così comoda da garantire la qualità della vacanza,al centro tra Piazza Vecchia Ponte Carlo e Piazza Venceslao,i mezzi non servano ma la zona è servita benissimo dalla metro,efficiente,stabile è di pregio,le foto che vedete corrispondono alla realtà.Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo,60euro a notte camera matrimoniale,3 notti di marzo 2009,fino a 100 euro a notte le vale.finestre con doppi vetri garantiscono ottimo isolamento acustico.camera molto carina splendida vista sui tetti con tv,cassaforte senza costi aggiuntivi,armadio,scrivania,parquet.calda.bagno con doccia,nessun problema di igiene. L'accoglienza ottima,cordiali e professionali,parlano inglese perfetto,il prezzo è quello del sito,si paga in euro,si paga a fine soggiorno,colazione vasta, calda, internazionale,ristorante ottimo,vera reception 24/24,ci danno la camera in anticipo,deposito bagagli gratuito,servizio taxi dall'aeroporto efficiente,consigliato. lo sceglierei di nuovo, ottimo!

The hotel position is excellent! the only thing you should pay attention is when you reserve in euro or dollar and you pay in czech koruna, they apply the worst money change for you (the best for them).

ottimo albergo a due passi dal centro. personale disponibile e camera pulitissima. l'albergo va dal quarto al settimo piano e le stanze dell'ultimo piano sono un po' piccole.

This hotel is right in the center of old town. Great location. Very nice people. A restaurant is on the street level with live acoustic music. Walking distance to everything. We got an "apartment", you never really know what that means, but it was HUGE, HUGE! Gorgeous huge sliding pocket doors between the bedrooms. Only two bad things, all night long drunken men would run around the block singing loudly. My husband and one daughter couldn't sleep, but I was fine. Also we were out all day long exploring, we came back and the beds weren't made and the maid came at 5:00 pm when we were just sitting down. We just told her to forget it. But this is a wonderful hotel.

Superb location in city-centre Prague, everything is easy to reach on foot. Hotel nice and well-managed, we had a giant room we would have never expected to be given with view over the main street - though is a pedestrian area and thus quiet and cosy. Breakfast was nothing special but acceptable. Staff were nice and welcoming. If you look for a budget accommodation, U Kocku is your top choice in Prague.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön, perfekte Lage in der Altstadt, sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Unser Zimmer ging in den Hinterhof und war somit super ruhig. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dorthin fahren.

Great location if you don't mind basic accomodations and a little noise. Not all rooms have lift access and you may have to walk a few flights of stairs to get to your room.

This location is perfect - situated between the Charles Bridge and the old town square. We can only recommend it!

Great location, very good buffet breakfast, larger rooms may not be on quite side of hotel, lots of dust under furniture. Easy walking distance from hotel to almost anything want to see. Hotel just two minutes walk from Old Town Square. Prague is a must for those who appreciate old buildings, palaces, museums etc.

Room is Ok, but a vacuum cleaner has not visited the room for a long time. A very unpleasant smell came from the toilet even though the fan was running all the time

When booking,I had requested a full bathroom, but only shower provided. Did not ask on arrival as, thoufgt may cost more. Odd that twin quoted as more exp than double!! Location good for walking to Old/New Town sites.
