Hotel Harmony - Prague

Just returned from Prague. I had to change my hotel in the middle of stay (the first case in my practice) because staying at Harmony was irresistible: room was so noisy (window was going out to the street with trams and lots of traffic; moreover window itself was broken and did not close properly) that I could not sleep normally. Therefore I moved to another hotel (for the same price, 4 stars, much better quality and just 5 minutes more by walk from centre). A few more comments about Harmony hotel: room's interior was very poor (it seems that it has not been renewed for many years - pure Soviet heritage; also admired by their photographer: on one hand, the photos do not lie, this is hotel room's interior indeed, on the other hand the reality is much worse), breakfast was also close to awful. I do not understand other applauding reviews about Harmony hotel. 90% of its cost is its location. However, Prague is not a very big city and any hotel in Nove Mesto, for example, would be also very close to the centre. So, think yourself twice.

Honestly, If I wanna comeback to Prague again I won't go to another hotels. This one is really really nice. Everything around you and also the attractions places are really near. And the Metro is 3 mins walking. Nice breakfast.

Very close to tram, metro, rail and bus stations. Also five minutes walk from Czech Airways office, which is the pick and drop stop for the Airport to city - Cedaz bus service. I was a single traveller staying in a huge double room. Since the room was at the back, had no noise issues. Rebublic Square is a 5 minute walk away. There is also a grocery next door to the hotel. Breakfast is uninspiring though substantial. Small restaurant can get crowded at Breakfast time though. All in all, Hotel Harmony is a comfortable and convenient place to stay. Staff at reception are there twenty four hours on rotation. They are all very helpful and speak english.

Very very good price/quality balance. The service was EXCELLENT! we arrived after a very tiring trip, and the reception lady gave a very warm welcome. they were very helpful and answered all our questions about the area, sightseeing and more. we loved the room, very quiet. the bathroom was clean too! we loved everything about it. one thing, if i had to say, was the breakfast could have been better.
