Friday Hotel - Prague

wonderful place to stay, very close to the must see places. breakfast was very rich, with lots of choices. rooms were nice but the carpets had stains on it.

Carpet had stains. Lobby is small. Service and location were great.

Location was outstanding - right on a main pedestrian mall - walking distance to most everything. Desk was helpful with tours and taxis.

Siamo stati bene all'Hotel Floor. Camere pulite e spaziose, colazione buona e con discreta scelta. Vicinissimo alla fermata della Metro MUSTEK, nella zona pedonale della città e interessante anche per lo shopping. Alcune dritte: Per mangiare tipico e spendere veramente poco andate al ristorante VEJVODU, in Via Jilska n. 4 (da provare). Inoltre noi parlando dell'HOTEL FLOOR, avevamo prenotato al prezzo di € 333,00 per 3 notti per una doppia. Se potete pagate in Euro in contanti (anche cambiando a qualsiasi bancomat), perchè sennò vi addebitano con la carta di credito con il cambio molto sfavorevole. abbiamo pagato alla fine € 359,00. Pazienza, anche perchè la bellezza di Praga ci ha fatto dimenticare tutto ciò. Ripeto che per cambiare il più conveniente e sicuro è il bancomat. Non fidatevi dei baracchini e degli avventori.

Wonderful location. Except for the cool hospitality of Czech people (but is in their DNA...) everything was excellent...

Beatiful location in the middle of historical centre. Good Connection with transportation services. I recommend it.

Cleanliness of room must be improved. (replace of sheets , towels and over all cleaning) Excellent location. Very good breakfast.High relationship between price and quality.

Quite good central position, nice breakfast. Our room could be a bit more clean (there was a spidernet in one corner...)Otherwise quite enjoyable silent room!

Its great location, within a pedestrian zone, makes it confortable and quiet. Every city center touristic site is easily accessible by short walks. Rooms are rather clean even if a little more space would be appreciated. Continental morning breakfast is good and plentiful. After all Floor hotel is a good spot to visit Praha.

We loved it. What a fun hotel. We had a red twin bedroom. It was so quiet and in a great location. Everything was within walking distance and a metro stop was close by to take you all around town. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. Just remember take a long coat in the winter it's rather cold.

The Floor Hotel is not considered a posh hotel, but it is absolutely perfect. It has everything a traveler needs (including the heated towel rack!) The front desk was more than helpful. We always did money exchange with them and they always took care of restaurant reservations and tickets for local entertainment. The breakfast was abundant and tasty. I would confidently recommend this hotel. By the way, The hotel also has wireless internet. When we had trouble getting on with our computer, the owner even offered us his own personal computer. Whenever we travel overseas, the first site I look at for hotels is Venere. They have always come through. The reviews are incredibly helpful and always on the money.

We paid in local currencies with a change rate of 35,5 per Euro, so the price per room was higher than agreed (approx 40 Euros x Room for the entire stay)

The Floor Hotel gave us everything we hoped for whilst staying in Prague. Its location was superb, central to all the main shops and Wenceslas Square. The hotel was very modern and clean and the breakfast was really fantastic, there was a wide variety of hot and cold foods and drinks. There were plenty of restaurants nearby, including familiar names like TGI Fridays, McDonalds and Chinese Restaurants. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel and would definately stay in it again.

We (I & my wife - the persons 60 years old) were in Prague for 4 days. The hotel location is excellent - in the middle of the Old town and quite near underground station Mustek. The breakfast also was very rich. I prefer to stay here next time when I 'll be in Prague again.

The hotel has an optimal location, the very city centre can be reached by 2 minutes walk. The breakfast is varied and rich. We had a very pleasant stay and we will certainly come back. We recommend the Floor Hotel to any tourist. P.S. the only bad thing was the poorness of information from the helpdesk, but it can be easily provided by the several information points in the surroundings.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Prague, excellent location, nice room. A little drawback when the maids started their work a little early in the morning just outside our room. Nice breakfast, large bathroom with the softest towels ever experienced.

Located in the center of Prague and convenient to the subway station, the old town & new town. Breakfast was very good and hotel reception was very kind to recommend restaurants and city tours to us. Unfortunately our room didn't have the bathtub, but the room of my friend had one. I would like to stay this hotel again.

This was our second visit to the Floor hotel. The first visit was perfect hence our second visit. We emailed the hotel prior to our second visit to request the same room this request was ignored I emailed twice. The room allocates was cold the heating was not workihg we were offered a second room but it was worse It was 11pm and there was no maintenance on duty at this time no heater or extra duvets were offered at this time by the time Joe had got the secruity man to check the heating he didnt know what to do it was 12midnight. The next morning we tried the jaccuzi this wasnt working and the underfloor heating in the bathroom never worked.We saw the managress the next morning and by late evening the heating and jaccuzi were working. We came to an arrangement about a new price and given a free lunch but our holiday was marred. The large lamp and the safe stopped working during the week as well.I think if anything goes wrong because the don,t appear to have maintinence everyday things have just gone downhill since our last visit which is such a shame.

Ottimo Hotel, camere di buona qualità abbastanza spaziose, confortevoli e silenziose. Posizione strepitosa. Unico motivo di disappunto: mi è stato chiesto di addebitare l'intero importo al momento dell'arrivo. Good hotel with good rooms. The position is really great. Unique disapointing reason: they asked to charge me the total amount just at my arrival and not at the departure.

The hotel was great, spacious room, very clean, fantastic location within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. Poor marks due to loud noise all night long for both nights of our stay. sounded like a construction team either next door or upstairs. I mentioned it to the front desk and they said they'd look into it, but the same thing happened the next night. I would consider staying at this hotel again, but would immediately request a room away from the neighboring noise.

Very nice hotel. Large room, beautifully appointed. Large bathroom with large tub and great towels. My only complaint is the american dollar price when looked at in Febuary was different when we booked it for Sept. To give them the benefit of the doubt the price we saw on the internet in Feb. might have been an off-season price. I would reccommend this hotel. A very convienent location

Excellent location, great service, spacious and clean room, good facilities, good breakfast. Citibank around the corner - a plus. Price though a little bit high.

EXCELENTE LOCALIZACIÓN. A CINCO MINUTOS ANDANDO DE LA PLAZA DE LA CIUDAD VIEJA. HABITACIONES AMPLIAS Y CÓMODAS. PERSONAL POCO SIMPATICO PERO ES LO NORMAL ENTRE LOS CHECOS. LO RECOMIENDO.

Mancano gli spazi comuni, eccezion fatta per la reception e la sala colazione. La manutenzione spicciola delle stanze in alcuni casi lascia a desiderare. Superbo il buffet della colazione. In ogni caso consigliabile per la posizione centrale e il rapporto qualità prezzo.

This hotel was fantastic. It was located right in Prague's upscale shopping district, and close to many of the sites. The room was incredibly large, with a jaccuzi, and decent airconditioning. The one downside is that there is no parking. They charge 28 Euros a night or something like that for private parking, but I was able to park on the street nearby.

Great hotel, central location for main shopping and sites - very nice.

We stayed at this hotel beginning of May 07, a party of 5 women.Although the rooms were lovely, we had twice requested, and been promised twin beds, in 2 of the rooms, but didn't get them. Were given a complimentary lunch, as aplogy. Food was excellent, and this hotel was perfectly located,for all the sights,and very clean. Staff were polite, and I'd certainly return to this hotel.

Probably the best located hotel not just for the Xmas markets but for the city itself. We were a group of 6 couples and nobody could fault the hotel for location, quality of accommodation and an excellent breakfast. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to any traveller.

The room was very nice, like in a castle, with a big jacuzzi. The location is fabulous, it was my first visit and the employees were very kind to answer all my questions. A lot of beautiful smiles in the morning during breakfast time were included too. I will comeback, as soon as possible. THANK YOU ALL!

Limo pick up at airport there to meet us. Hotel location could not be better for access to main tourist features. Hot/cold buffet breakfast second to none. Our room (overlooking main street) noisy early morning. Would recommend without hesitation.

The Hotel was good as a consequence of the price, they must improve the housekeeping of the rooms.

First time at the hotel and probably come back again. Excellent situation, warmship, comfortable, spacious, clean. Not cheap, but itis worthy. I only would provide more choiseable breakfast, althogh it is quite good.

L'Hotel Floor si trova in una posizione centralissima ad un passo dai più bei monumenti di Praga. Ottima l'accoglienza e bellissime le camere molto ampie e luminose, dotate di ogni confort.Ottima anche la prima colazione a buffet.Assolutamente da consigliare per una piacevole vacanza.

Very good hotel!! the pics they've put on this site are for there "best rooms" as the cute receptionist said, but the hotel has a contemporary design interiors, new furniture and great bathrooms :)!! the breakfast lounge on the first floor is beautiful and the restaurant on the ground floor is crowded in the evenings meaning that its a good adress. 10 minuts walk to the old town square, 2 minutes to the shopping street of nia prikope!! will be staying there again!! highly recommanded.. Propre,calme, mobilier contemporain chic!! tres bien situé. vivement recommandé..
