nice place, romantic, a bit far from the tram station, about 15 min walk, and 20 minutes by tram to the center of the city. otherwise, nice location, quiet and clean

Really nice hotel, very quiet, helpful staff. Satisfied with the breakfast (the yogurt was excellent!). The building is charming, it has a historical atmosphere. A short walk to the tram. You don't really mind the distance to the center, as it is only a few stops away. We (two couples) have booked 2 double rooms and had a special request for balcony. There weren't any rooms with balcony available, and as compensation we could stay in a spacious apartment instead of two rooms for the same price.

Receptionist spoke excellent English and was very helpful. Parking is very secure but a little limited. Attractively presented accommodation and we had a huge balcony. Breakfast was OK. Map on website is poor however once there access to centre of Prague is excellent by tram - with about a 10 minute walk up/down the hill.

Warm, nice and quiet. We arrived by car and, each morning, did the short car ride to the Andel Underground Station (nearby car parking costs aprox. 12€/day).

The breakfast did not match the quality of the rest of the hotel - it should be improved.

vacation wife and myself. walk to tram about 15 min. (not bad if you didn't walk all day). Price was great. Most hotels or B&B's in Prague center was 21/2 to 3 times more expensive. Trust me, you do not want to drive in city center. Parking was secure and free. Rooms were very clean but a bit on the small side (we had a double room). Prices in Prague were very economical-go before they change to the euro. Would highly recommend Casa Edith Stein. Thanks, Tom (Florida)

This converted convent is a real haven of peace on a hillside outside Prague in a green residential district. But you really need a car, since the walk down and especially UP to and from the nearest public transport is steep. The location map on the site is AS USUAL inadequate - in this case the hotel is shown as situated in an area OUTSIDE the street plan, such as it is, and this is ridiculous. There are signs ifonce you get somewhere near, but they are not very obvious and the last place where you need to turn off has NO sign, when you need it most. Very nice single room, inevityably small but well appointed. Courtyard parking.

Hotel in residential area, 15 mins from centre. Asked for a room on top floor away from lift; given a room on 1st floor next to lift! Moved to another room; TV barely worked and fridge didn't work at all. However the room was clean; bathroom excellent and quiet. The breakfast was awful! Stale cheap bread, plastic cheese, tasteless jam and doughnuts - possibly the worst breakfast I have ever tasted.

As we travelled as a family, 2 adults and 2 older kids, we had to rent two rooms, which were located side by side. As the hotel was located outside of the city centre, we slept well at night as it was very quiet. On a daily basis, we parked our car at the hotel and walked and took the bus to various sites of Prague. Overall our stay was quite enjoyable.

The level of enlish of staff is a little bit low. Breakfast was Ok but it could have been better. It is a great hotel for those who travel by car since one can park the car for free inside the "patio" of the hotel.

breakfast was very good and diner too! A very convenient location in Prague, maybe a little difficult to get to the tramway station with bad weather...

I feel that we really got our money worth for the three days we were there. The rooms are specious, clean, and esthetically arranged. The hotel is a little walk from the bus/tram station but its good after having knedliki with gulash.

Hotel Casa Edith Stein, I´d like to thank you and let you know that you contributed a great deal to my enjoyable, though brief, stay in Prague. I very appreciated the compleisant staff and a cosy atmosphere of your pleasant hotel. Wishing staying longer during my hopefully future visits to this lovely city of Prague.

If one goes to Prague the Casa Edith Stein is the place to stay. First of all it is on the western side of the city center so one does not need to drive into the city. It stands on the side of hill and park in a residential neighborhood. This fact lends to the peaceful atmosphere. We parked our car in the secure courtyard for the whole four days. Just six blocks down the hill is the tram stop for the No. 9. (One does have to walk back up it on return, but we regarded the area most safe.)The tram took 10 minutes to the national theatre. We had a wonderful room with a balcony. It was spacious. The breakfasts were wonderful and the service was grand.

Gepflegtes, geschmackvoll renoviertes Haus unter italienischer Leitung. Gut 10 Min.

Very nice and charming hotel in a quiet neighborhood. Excellent welcoming. Situation is quite convenient, about 5 to 10 minutes walk from a tramway stop (N°9/4/7) Tram ride to the centre takes 10 minutes.
