I travel to Prague on business and found this to be excellent value for the price. The location is very good: close to the centre and transport. My room was comfortable, with good beds. It was spacious, well furnished although not luxurious, and it was clean and well maintained. Very quiet concerning noise from outside; the internal walls are quite thin, so there is a bit of noise from the corridor. Excellent breakfast. Really can't be faulted at this price.

Just returned from Prague, spending 3 nights at the Caesars Place. 10 out of 10 across the board! Location - ideal - everything within easy walking distance. If you visit the castle, the 22 tram can pick you up and drop you off around the corner. Rooms - spotless and spacious - clean bedding every night. Breakfast - more than adequate. Staff- very helpful and friendly. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone!

They charged me more then Venere.com quoted even after telling me they would honor that price when I arrived. I paid about 10 euros more per night which is about $13 USD, so I basically spent $39 more then I was quoted. I am very disappointed, but wasn't going to miss my train to Vienna arguing with them over this. Overall though the staff was nice (those who spoke English which was about 50%). Also, it might have been just my room but my voltage convertors got so hot you could feel the heat coming from them, but when I traveled to Vienna and Budapest using the same convertors, I had no problems there. Despite my negative comments, the hotel staff was nice, the breakfast was good quality, and it was a very clean hotel with good security. This is still a good place for single travelers, but make sure you get written agreement when you get there for the cost quoted on venere.com, or they will add charges to your bill.

You may hear at some nights the neighboors ( especially when they partied ). Great hotel, dont take some cocktails at the bar they expensive ( for sure) and you will find cheaper on the other side of the street. Great breakfast buffet and great room. Nice employees and you are near the city centre*.

Nice hotel, very friendly staff. But some rooms are not good. First room we got was full of smoking smelt, I asked to change it - and they give another room without any question. And second one was quite noisy - with strange sounds from somewhere, not very strong - but not comfortable. The room of our friends was nice - no smelt or any sounds... Great location - walking to the old town is very easy. Strange thing I met very seldom - in many rooms they have 3 single beds.

I chose this hotel for it's central location, affordable rate and suitable accomodations for single travelers. I was pleasantly surprised and would recommend it to anyone interested in those same qualities. On another note, it's literally around the corner from U Fleku, which anyone visiting Prague should check out.

Nice clean and large rooms compared to most hotels in europe. Although the surrounding area is not particularly special, prague is a small city so the hotel is only a 10min walk to Charles Bridge or the town square and there are tram lines running by the hotel. We found our stay to be very pleasant and excellent value, especially with the large breakfast included. Would definately recommend this hotel.

I would rate this as a 2-3 star hotel. it cant be a 4 star. other than the hotel location, nothing longs me to go back there. we initially got a horrible grey smoking room. eventhough i am a smoker, i requested for a non-smoking, which turned out to be OK.

The hotel in new town definitely met expectations. The guy at reception was very efficient and friendly, he offered me a cable for my laptop and we had free internet throughout our stay. The room was extremely spacious and moreso the bathroom. The bathroom had a telephone shower which hangs quite low so we had to hold it up when showering. Our room overlooked the hotel entrance and across was a Thai restaurant (Lemon Cafe or something). From the street you can walk to the main road which leads to the Charles Bridge and there is a 24 hour convenience store in the corner. It took us about 15 to 20 minutes to walk leisurely to Charles Bridge and from there walking to Mala Strana (and Prague Castle) and Old Town was so easy because the place is amazing. You can also take the other side to walk to Old Town and the main shopping area - it's also a 15 minute leisurely walk. The breakfast spread did not just have the usual cereal and bread, they had breakfast meats and other pastries too. The bed was comfortable but the edge (foot) was high so we had to perch up a bit to watch TV. TV had Czech channels but also had CNN, MTV and some English movie channels. There was a mini-bar and a mini refrigerator. Note though that the instant coffee and tea sachets on top of the mini-ref are not free. We found that out on our last day, but it's written on the mini-bar list they provide (and I obviously did not read) which, you need to sign when you check out. We had a very good experience in this hotel and will definitely come back.

We enjoyed a lot our stay in the hotel. The breakfast was really good, the hotel facilities were ok, but it was a little far from the city center. We hoped we stayed in a closer hotel or where there were more places to have dinner at night, because it was a little alone at night in the surroundings. Some people of the staff where a little serious and not welcoming. We would prefer to pay on line when reserving, instead of paying at the hotel.

Upon entering the hotel we were met with a few angry English customers complaining profusely about a room/hotel change, something beyond the managements control. Some of them seemed intoxicated with either booze or their hell-bent rude attitude towards the staff. This couldn’t be in contrast to when we finally got to checking in, where the staff couldn’t do more for us. Very friendly and chatty by Chezh standards. The 2 rooms provided with were massive, with an extra bed in both and a large sofa bed in the other. Clean and tidy, with handy self activating safety deposit boxes for passports etc. Bathrooms spotless with shampoo provided. Excellent abet Ikeaesque standard. Location is excellent, with most places very walkable to. Try the bar around the corner (the one with the clock on it), it is a true Czech cultural experience!

Very nice hotel. I took a superior room which was newly decorated albeit "old style". I had two single beds - would have preferred a double, but it was comfortable and windows were double glazed so noise level was low. It was just a ten minute walk to Charles bridge, if you walk along the river and to all the main city centre sites and squares.

We are mature couple, travelling all over europe, this hotel is not 4 star is a 3 star hotel, the staff is not helpfull at all and speak very bad english, they always want to give you lower change for the Czech Corona compared to Euro, breakfast was good, the price is too high for this hotel, you can get better rooms for this price.

Ceasar palace was a lovely hotel in a great location. It was a 15 min walk to charles bridge and the old town along the river. The oposite way was a 15 min walk to wensleslas square. Felt safe walking around on own too. Would recommend this hotel and will definately be going back to this hotel in future. Great value for money!

It was quite good at a convenient location. The price was reasonable. However, it did not have any real character as one would expect from a hotel in Prague
