Pension BoB - Prague

Pension BoB is very good. Bus an underground stations are near the pension (15 minutes to the center of Prague. Next time, we shall return to this pension and give the adresse to friends.

I travelled with my wife, the pension is a good election, good relationship between price and quality.

The hotel is outside of Prague, but worth the travelling, because the price is absolutely acceptable! +++

The pension is just 15 minutes away from the major sightseeing points. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable.

The TV-offer could be better. Only 2 chanels. And what kind of!!!!!!! Further no comment

Lovely country location yet just a short bus ride from the Prague metro and busy city. Also just 10 min walk from an University. Felt safe to walk around alone. The room was comfortable, clean and with much more space than I had imagined. The staff was friendly and very very helpful. Got only good memories from Pension BoB.

Good quality, friendly people, good service. We enjoyed the bed and the tastefull breakfast very much.

This place is very far from the center of town, much farther than they indicate on the website. There are no restaurants in the town and just a tiny food stand. The bus schedule into town requires a change to a metro and coordinating all the timing was impossible. It took us an hour and a half to get home. The staff is rude, not helpful, and it was extremely noisy. The walls are paper thin, the floors are tile, and the hallways echo everything. The proprietor was up all night doing some sort of construction as well so we heard banging all night. We actually had to move to another hotel and the proprietor, even after 24 hour notice, refused to refund all the other nights fees. When I questioned him, he threatened to call the police. My children were frightened and we couldn't wait to get out of there. I would never, under any conditions, recommend Pension Bob.

Quiet and clean place, easy to reach downtown

Très bon accueil avec remise des horaires de bus entre la pension et le métro. Quartier calme et grande simplicité pour se rendre au centre en bus et métro (10mn+5mn) et aux lieux intéressants de la ville.

B&B has new owner, so they changed the policy of airport pick-ups. In my previous stay the personel knew foreign languages and there were no problems to explain. Now things changed. In my previous stay first bus ticket were provided by BoB; now they do not do it, which is not convenient. We left very early and we were provided with very tasty sandwiches. We are thankful for them.

Good breakfast : the bread and the beverages were already on the table coresponding with the room and a small buffet was available with cheese, ham...

Overall nice and quiet place with an excellent relationship between price and quality. No problem with our dogs (we went to Prag to show them on an international dogshow). But the parking situation is a bit complicated.

Everything was great here, no hassle at all. Getting the bus and metro to Prague city center, while not ideal was really pleasant..

L'accueil est chaleureux. Le rapport qualité prix correct. Le confort est parfait(WC et douche individuelle). L'accès à Prague est très facile avec les transports en commun(bus + métro)jusqu'à 23h.On peut garer sa voiture dans un parking privé fermé et ne plus s'en servir si on le souhaite.

Overall, it was a very good place to stay. Nice quiet neighbourhood. The room was a little tight and pretty basic (no a/c). Bathroom was good, spacious shower. Very easy to get to downtown Prague with public transit (about 20 minutes with bus and metro). Breakfast was satisfactory, would have liked a little more variety as we stayed 3 days. Had a lovely dinner one night at the restaurant right across the street. Staff was very nice, although were not able to provide good driving instructions in and out of Prague.

I recommend this Bed and Breakfast, it was really nice to stay there!

Good Quality vs. Price. Quiet and if taking care of bus and metro timetables, can get to the center in 30mn. So we would go again to this place in case of coming back to Praga.

We thought we had a twinbed room but the lady who spoke with us said we had a economy room(?) The beds (2) were poor and bad.We had to pay the room the second day we were there.Our stay was 4 days.The third day , our room was not cleaned! We asked why and the lady of the house said, she had no time for it!!!!! When we left we had to pay 3 % extra because of the fact that we paid with creditcard!!! All the way it was very poor and we will never go there again.Sorry.

I was travelling with my boyfriend and another young couple. B&B Bob meet my standard. The atmosphere is really familiar. Breakfast doesn't offer many choice but it was good for me. The negativeside is that place it's not well connected to the downtown because to get the metro you have first to take the bus. We were there by car but we travelled only by taxi that it's not to much expensive (about 15 Euro one trip)in four people.

The staff at pension BoB were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were basic, but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and all you needed to set you up for the day. My only problem with my time in Prague was the distance to the city centre. The bus service was limited with only 1 bus each hour at some parts of the day, and the last bus back to the pension was 11.30. Which I felt was too early. The journey on bus was 20mins then another 5mins on the subway. If you wanted to stay out later then the only option of getting back was by taxi which costs around £10. Overall a lovely place to stay but for me too far from centre.

Thomas,,the owner, met us at the train station and took us to BoB. This B/B is located a metro and bus ride from the inner city of Prague in a beautiful area with lots of trees and gardens. Thomas told us where to catch the bus and where to get off to get the metro into the downtown area, about 20 minutes time. Breakfast is served in a nice airy room and the food was good. It was nice to be out of the big city hussle bussle for a change at night. A very quiet place to sleep. There is a good cafe next door and a small market nearby. We knew, from the website, that we would be staying out of the main town proper and the price was much more reasonable then the big town hotels. We met and visited with 4 ladies from El Salvador who spoke English. Also Thomas is quite good at English. We were able to have our laundry washed while we stayed here. The rooms and baths have been newly redecorated and are very pleasant. When it was time to leave, Thomas drove us to the Metro station so we could get to the train station by way of the Metro. We had an enjoyable stay.

Pension très agréable, proche des transports en commun (très efficaces à Prague). Accueil et conseils excellents. Très bon rapport qualité-prix pour découvrir Prague. Nous le conseillons sans hésitation. Services (tickets de transports et accueil à l'aéroport très apréciables).

Trés propre et personnel accueillant Aménagement récent et trés confortable Quartier résidentiel isolé mais accés simple et rapide d'accés à Prague(30 mn env.) par bus et métro.

Very nice and friendly place highly recomended. It is a pleasure to stay there that is why I stayed there again.

Host Tomas [and his mother] were helpful iin sending directions to the pension. During our stay, they provided us with useful info about the area. The breakfasts were delicious. Although the pension is on the outskirts of the city, public transport to the centre is inexpensive, quick and efficient so we left our car in the carpark. I would definitely stay at Pension BoB in the future.

A place where you can feel almost like at home!

A relly nice place to stay in Prague. Quiet, close to the bus, rooms very clean... Only one regret: towels in the bathroom were sometimes a little bit used. It's a very good place for holidays

The place was just perfect. The pension is a little far from the center but the kindness of the people there is really great. Rooms are large and clean. Bathroom is also very nice. Breakfast is lovely too. I certainly would recommand that place.

Peaceful, cosy B&B, a relaxing oasis after hours of walking in the outskirt of beautiful Prague. Limited resources in the neighbourhood.

An important notice is about the possibility to smoke in the bedrooms. In fact you are not allowed to smoke in your room but you should have to smoke in a (little)reserved area. They did not inform us about this (there are no advices). For all the rest is a good and cheap place to stay.

It was far to the city, but we were informed very well, how to use bus, tram, metro...

Although located a distance from the city centre Bob´s was a wonderful retreat after walking the streets of Prague all day. Friendly service, great breakfasts and a green setting made our stay pleasant. The only irritation with the location was having to catch a bus and then a train into town, the trips were short but the infrequency of buses was, at times annoying.

We were very pleased with out experiece and would stay at BoB on our next visit to Prague.

BoB is very nice and peaceful countryside place. It is 20 minutes from downtown. It would be better to provide maps of bus stops, otherwise it is difficult to find. Stuff is very friendly, breakfast is more than abundant.
