Hotl location is not so good. This hotel is located between two main car streets of Praha. Many cars are running 24 hours with high speed. When I opend the window to change air in the room it's noisy but double windows are able to shut out the noise.

Well situated. About 10 min walk to I.P.Pavlova metro( a bit further than it looks on the map). Supermarkets close by. Helpful reception staff. There is a hotel shuttle to town, airports, etc, though it is a bit expensive. The room was spacious and VERY quiet, despite being on a busy road. Good breakfast buffet spread.

Our first time at Assenzio. Really unreliable WiFi access, even when in the lobby. The restaurant was appalling: it was totally empty at 9pm, the menu items are all quoted in Euro, and not especially palatable. The room was pretty dated and the pull out sofa-bed for the kids was extremely uncomfortable, even for children. On the other hand there was lots of space and everything was clean.

This was by far the nicest hotel we stayed at in Europe and yet the cheapest. It wasn't in the nicest part of Prague, but not in a dumpy area either. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. The room was spacious as was the bathroom, although there are no curtains for the showers, but that makes things interesting. The breakfast was delicious. They were very accomodating when we missed our first night because the trains got screwed up. A great stay if you'll be in Prague for a few days.

The hotel is nice but the employees are not so clear with the information, for example they told us 6 euro per day per car parking and then they debited 16 euro per day per car parking......so, general experience by this hotel was so and so....

The hotel is 10 minutes away from the metro station. The rooms are small, but comfortable and quiet (if it is looking to the courtyard). Breakfast is a bit poor. The hotel is a good choice for the price.

We didn't like our stay at this hotel at all. Where to start? Paying at check in is unheard off. No facility to change into local currency so this had to be done by credit card. Hotel nearby to do this as suggested had run out of money!(4pm) Car park is very expensive for what it is, a tiny tiled courtyard where only 2 - 3 cards would fit in, driving in past crates of produce!. Make sure to request parking just in case, when you book. Pretty period building, easy to find, but in between 2 massive 1way streets, room not noisy though. We are a family of 4 with early teens. 1st room offered, lights didn't work. 2nd room very nice, spacious, sep. area for children, well appointed bathroom. A/c mediocre, switches off when you retract the room card - what's the point? You need a cool room when you get back! Prague in August is VERY hot. Children's Play Station would not work on this (new) tv and nobody else could be bothered help. Restaurant was closed during the week. Bar pathetic, clinical. Breakfast buffet meagre but ok. Hotel environs slightly shady but still ok, don't bother with short cuts if you have children - wind up walking past oodles of sex shops and bars, and quite a walk from central Prague (1/2hr). Tramways super and easy to use, but buying tickets a bit tricky. Stops are reasonably close to hotel.Unsmiling personnel. Receptionist had no idea how to give me good directions to get out of Prague to join the motorway, despite my detailed map. Printed out instructions in czech/klms (we had an English car) and handed them over. We got lost 3x before finding the correct road. Petrol station people were nicer! Overall we were disappointed in Prague. Beautiful city but has a lot to learn about treating visitors. Nobody would give the children tap water in restaurants, only bottled and expensive. If you want a laugh, go to an Englsh ghost tour, anything but ghostly! We certainly enjoyed it. River trip is v nice too, and cooling.

We spent four nights here. BRILLIANT! The staff are impeccable, the rooms are super clean and modern. We met the owner who was extraordinarily friendly and upgraded us to a very large room at NO EXTRA COST to help accomodate a friend of ours who would have otherwise slept on a camp bed. On top of the service and room quality, is the fantastic buffet breakfast every morning. The hotel is an easy (downhill) 10 minute walk to the heart of the city and there are tram and bus stops very nearby. Also, close to the hotel, there is a great basement bar (called "the pub") with spicy goulash served all night and EACH TABLE HAS ITS OWN DRAFT TAP....seriously. I highly recommend this hotel and I would love to go back.

Our stay at Hotel Assenzio was great. The staff were helpful, and the hotel was excellent. The rooms were nice and clean and very well kept. We booked a room with half board which included breakfast and dinner. Dinner was a little bit boring though as there was not much of a selection. All in all, I give Hotel Assenzio 8/10

The hotel was everything we expected and more! Recently renovated and with spacious rooms, cleaned every day. At the same tyme the building has kept its authentic exterior of old Prague. Excellent location - 15 min walk to the center or 5 minutes walk to the nearest metro station. Also close to Vysegrad. The staff was extremely friendly and the restaurant was very good with a real Italian chef! The breakfast was wholesome and fresh. We were ensured a tourist guide for the price of the accommodation. Our stay was a pleasure and we got our money's worth!

Private parking at Assenzio Hotel means a small courtyard where there is hardly room for four car maximum, in-line, and even for that you have to pay 12 euros per night. So if you`ll stay 3 nights at the hotel but only 2 days effective you`ll have to pay for 3 nights.Don`t count on private parking.

Very nice hotel.Rooms are clean and comfortable. A little far from subway but the price and the quality of the services makes you forget this inconveniant. And anyway in Praha you walk a lot. More unaceptable is the noise from others rooms especialy when it's all night long (you can ear people talking like they are in your room). We will return if this inconvenian is solve.
