The Ametyst Praha Hotel is situated in the enchanting city of Prague, close to the historic district. Its location just 10 minutes from the famous Wenceslaw Square, within walking distance from the State Opera and National Museum, and a 5 minute walk from the underground, bus and tram stations, makes it an optimal base from which to explore the city.
Due to the outstanding original works of art on show, the hotel Ametyst Praha has been often referred to as the Gallery Hotel. On display are original oil paintings and pastel drawings, and these works of art are offered for sale, thus the decorations of the hotel change continually.
This stylish hotel, which underwent major refurbishment completed in January 2007, offers a great range of on-site amenities including a restaurant, a lobby bar, the cosy Austrian wine restaurant - Vienna, an Internet Point, meeting/banquet facilities, a sauna, a solarium and massage therapies.

Great place to stay, excellent breakfast staff extremely helpful and courteous. Do be aware of pickpockets on trams No 22 & 23 these are the main trams through the tourist areas.

good hotel for a nice stay in Prague. Even in a chaotic period as New year's eve.Nice and clean hotel, good breakfast. But it's not possible to pay with euros, so at the end of the jurney, pay your stay with koronas or credit cards. Do not change the money at the hotel because there is a 7% commission.

Transfers to/from the Ruzyně airport cost €28,00. Transfers to/from the main railway station cost €10,00. Rates are quoted one way per car, max 4 people.

Pets are welcome for an additional fee of €17,00 per day.
