This stylish hotel, which underwent major refurbishment completed in January 2007, offers a great range of on-site amenities including a restaurant, a lobby bar, the cosy Austrian wine restaurant - Vienna, an Internet Point, meeting/banquet facilities, a sauna, a solarium and massage therapies.

Stayed in lots of hotels around europe over 30 days this was the only one that matched the description on venere 100%; nice and clean and big room. Freshly painted. Nice Breakfast and very helpful staff,they will arrange an 'honest' taxi for you back to the train or airport.Speaking of taxis, do not trust the taxi drivers in town as they are scammers, instead get a day ticket and ride the trams (22 is good) and metro. The Hotel is a little way out of town but only 15 mins walk to centre or 5 min walk to metro. But it was in a really nice part of town. TIP>>>> you buy metro tickets from the newsagency TIP>>>> if you really need to use a taxi when you arrive they will try to set a "fixed price" haggle them down at least 50%...trust me you will feel better....Loved Prague!

Great place to stay, excellent breakfast staff extremely helpful and courteous. Do be aware of pickpockets on trams No 22 & 23 these are the main trams through the tourist areas.

First time to prague.beautiful city.Ametyst Hotel is everyting it addvertises..it,s walking distence from everwhere.breakfast was delishes. Would recommend Hotel Ameytyst .

Good hotel for a nice stay in Prague. Even in a chaotic period as New year's eve.Nice and clean hotel, good breakfast. But it's not possible to pay with euros, so at the end of the jurney, pay your stay with koronas or credit cards. Do not change the money at the hotel because there is a 7% commission.
