Good quality/price ratio (we paid 40 E/night in april 2009). Very close to city center (walking distance 10 mins. from Venceslav Square). Breakfast was good and plentiful. WE would stay there again.

Rooms of hotel are older with very old furniture, the photos on web are not actual. Hotel is very close to center of Prague - in walk distance. On the other hand the problem is noise in the street if you have open windows. Even if the price for room is grateful, the rooms should be more comfortable and better furnished.

The room was good and the location is near the center but not very lovely. When we arrived, the employee tried us to pay in Czech crowns when the bill was in euros, and tried to make us a change from euros to crowns lower than official in order to make us pay a higher price for the room, but finally we paid in euros. The breakfast room is in a bar in one side of the hotel. It was a good place, but you have to pay attention for not pay more than you must.

The staff were polite and spoke good English. Conversations were always readily entered into if the hotel was not too busy. There were two nearby metro stations. In such a small city it only took half an hour to walk to the Vltava River.

Putting beds in an office does not convert it into a hotel room. The office blinds were too thin and the tube lighting in the ceiling unpleasant. We parked the car in hotel garage. The website quotes the charge for this as 450 CZK daily. When billing us they converted this into euros and then the total cost back into CZK. The double conversion resulted in an overcharge of 120 CZK per night, which we refused to pay. Breakfast was sad, little more than cereals and bread, with orange squash not juice.

I´m completely satisfied with the service offered by ABE Hotel. The rooms are very wide, beautiful and well decorated. The hotel is nearly to Pahlova, where you can take a tram or the tube to the city centre. The hotel is not far from National Museum. I recommend you this hotel. The staff is very well-educated too.

The hotel is located on a brisk city street. Therefore in a room it is always noisy. Windows have bad sound insulation. The furniture and conditions of rooms have strongly become outdated and demand repair. The bathroom equipment also demands repair. The attendants do not watch it. Cleaning of premises the negligent. The price for hotel the low. But quality of service could be and above. In other hotels of this price category - it above.

Was staying there in January, spacious enough room on 5th floor. As was only there for sleep can't really tell about noise levels.Hotel itself located close to city centre. Hotel cafe & brekfast was a bit of disaster but on the other hand wasn't really expecting anything for €30.0 per two of us. If you are easy going & without big budget defenetly nothing wrong with this place. Also frendly staff.

We were lodged in the refurbished building (there are two, I don´t know about the main building), which is pretty new. Our room in the 4th floor, was really big and we were comfortable. A little bit of cold first night but they turned the central heating on and then it was ok. Recepcionists were correct and helpfull. Breakfast is fine, not many choices but food was good. Coffee is excelent. Pub Legenda in the same street is recomended.

The hotel has two different buildings connected via a Skoda car dealership. You want to be in the north building, which requires a walk outside through the parking area of the Skoda dealership. That building is recently done. The other buildings are quite old and in need of remodeling. The lift is new and convenient somewhat, and construction as mentioned in other reviews is complete. The staff is very friendly and speaks good english. The welcome was extensive, with a go-over of the city and maps. The location is good, a few blocks from the Pavlova subway and tram stop area. Internet via cable is direct in the room. The TV does not have cable and all stations are only in Czech. The price charged to me was 100Czk per night more than venere quoted me and this was a bit unfair. I would say though that for the price the hotel is great value.

Cordiali saluti, Cristian Riolo Translate in English: The indications on the situated one said of a small hotel, cleaned up and ordered. They are remodeling and I happened to pull the short straw. Some friends stayed in the remodeled portion of the hotel and there room was very nice. Our room however was old, small and all around uninviting. If you are able to do so, make sure you ask for a renovated room. My friends paid the same price as I did, and got much much more out of their money.

Hotel ABE is surely not the best hotel in Prague, but for that price there is nothing to complain about. Rooms are small but clean, services and prices are as presented. The hotel is well connected (trams and metro station at short distance) and in less than 10 min you can reach Venceslao Square walking

The reception staff at ABE were amazing, very friendly and helpful. They gave us a city map apon arrival and suggested things to see and do. There were a good selection of sightseeing brochures in reception, and the staff were only too happy to book things for us (seeing as we do not speak Czech!). The breakfast included in the price was huge and easily the best we have had in Europe. It included a buffet of eggs, sausages, bread, cold meats, cheeses, salad, yoghurt, cereal, fruit and drinks. The room had been recently refurbished, but there were two single duvets on the double bed which was odd. The bathroom was spotless but the shower leaked and left a puddle on the floor every morning. Our TV received BBC News in English. A lift was being added to the exterior of the building which caused construction noise in the mornings, sometimes quite early, though it did not always wake us up. The lift is much needed as we were on the fourth floor, a long hike with or without suitcases! The location is a good 20-25 minute walk to Wenceslas Square, and 10 minutes walk to the metro. We loved Prague and had a great time there. Hotel ABE is a fantastic budget option and great value for money. The main down side is the long walk into the city, as it is not in a particularly interesting area, and you have to walk uphill when returning at the end of a long day.

The hotel is located on a 4 lanes heavy traffic street (a nightmare!), the room's furniture is poor; even if the rates are the same as a three stars hotel, the average quality is worst than a one star pension! It simply doesn't worth the price you pay for it!

I had a nice stay, and the rooms where great. I think that if anyone were to complaine about nois level, it would be the other visitors of hotel ABE, because we were a bit loud. Did miss a elevator, and why are the mirrors and the shower hanged so high? But when it all comes down to it. We really enjoyed our stay!

Is a nice bed&breakfast more than a 3 star hotel, as the building is quite old and the entrance to the structure is in common with other apartments and offices. We had a nice stay there, the employees were very friendly and helpfull. The towels we found in the room were very small, but asking to the receptionist, we finally obtaineid also normal shower towels. The breakfast is good and big. I would recomend this structure to young people or generally to people who look for a cheap, basic but comfortable accomodation with a convenient position for public trasports and attractions.

In our opinion hotel ABE has some good points and some bad. Good: - place - the hotel is situated near the center of the city, you are able to get on foot to Vaclavske Namesti, it takes only 5 minutes; - breakfasts - the hotel serves very good, big breakfasts; - staff - the receptionist was very helpful - she helped us to find an additional parking place for our car at another hotel, - price - is very attractive Bad: - the building is rather old, it has been renovated quite long time ago, the rooms and bathrooms are not comfortable, they are rather cold, the towels are very small, If I would appreciate the hotel I would give it 2 stars, not three.

Hotel ABE is a pension style centre on the edge of Prague city Centre (around 10 minutes walk to Wenceslas Square). The rooms are very much no frills (no TV, no phone), but are large and well kept. Breakfast is also included. The staff are polite, friendly and very helpful (with excellent spoken English). Hotel ABE is an excellent cheap stay within easy walking distance of a number of central Prague tourist attractions and public transport links

When we arrived at the hotel,we were very surprised because the hotel was like the hotel in a ghetoo! although we informed them before that we would arrive at 11 am, there was nobody at the recepcion. we had to call the guy, and we've waited 19 minutes. When the guy of the hotel ABE arrived, he said that there was no room vacant at this moment, and he took us to another hotel, which situated far from the city center! The hotel,I mean, the second one was an big, american style hotel it's called HOTEL OLSANKA, clean but the room was noisy, they offered us horrible breakfast. IT was already late and as we didn't have any idea where we are gonna stay, we had to accept. W hope another traveler will not in this kind of situation.
