Nothing to complain about: Located just a few meters to the next Metro station but nevertheless quiet at night, friendly staff and a clean room. Good breakfast. Simple but decent. Absolutely recommendable if you are looking for a good budget hotel.

We stayed there for 7 nights. Room service was not provided every day (no fresh towels althought placed on the floor). On the 1st day we found a dead tick on one pillow, on the 4th day a living tick in the sink and on the 6th day another dead tick in the bed. (!!!) Breakfast buffet was ok - enough in quantity and choice. Staff's English was rather poor - and we did not expect that we should have payed our room rent using Euros and not Czech korunas. Value for money was ok - big disadvantage were the ticks!

This is an excellent, value for money Hotel/Pension. The outdoor area was very useful for relaxing with friends in the evening, after a hard day walking around Prague's many sights. Although the road to the hotel can seem a little 'rough' it is in no way threatening and has some good local bars and the metro is very close. The hotel has worked on improvements since the Venere photos were taken and the WiFi was more than acceptable in my room on the ground floor. In all a very enjoyable stay in a well run and friendly place.

We were travelling as a young couple, for 4 days long (3 nights). We arrived at the "Hotel", and we clearly knew what we would have: no smile, no sympathy. We took the room and after entering we had a good welcoming gift: a deep breath of fresh bleach. The room was spacious but the bed was quite unclean, thanks to the heat, we didn't have to use too much of the blanket... Well, on the second day, the staff asked us if we could pay at the moment (still had one day)... There was nos water at some time so we had to use bottled water to wash hands ! The last surprise was the price: you better pay in the currency you ordered because the currency used is close to stealing compared to any other place of change (airport included). The only good points were the location and the price for the location we were. Hopefully, we weren't there for too long.

Great location and price, 2 minutes from the metro station. For the money you pay you get in fact a hostel that in fact is like a 3-star hotel, with clean and tidy rooms, continental breakfast and good Wi-Fi (ask for password at check-in). This was my first trip to Prague for Christmas, so I stayed at this hostel at the end of December, when the temperature in Prague is -1...+1. I faced only two problems: the personnel is rather poor in English, so it was rather difficult to communicate, I speak a bit Czech and this hepled me greatly. I advice you to have a list of necessary phrases in Czech with you or to buy a small phrasebook. The second problem was with central heating that turns off and on wnenever it wants. The first night I got up at 5 AM because I felt cold - the central heating was off. In the morning I tried to speak about this problem with personnel, but the only thing they told me was "Don't touch the regulators" (in fact, we didn't touch any regulator, the central heating turned off itself at night). But after that the problem was somehow resolved and 2 nights more we didn't get cold anymore. The breakfast is always the same: sausages, cornflakes, sliced meat and cheese, milk, jam. Nutella, eggs, bread, sweet rolls. Overall: great location and great price for the quality provided. My good recommendation.

The pension is at only 150m from the metro station "Krizikova" which is at only 2 stations away from the main center attractions. There is also one tram station (lines 3 or 8 which leads you to the center in 10mn). This location is an ideal place to stay in Prague. Transportation is so easy and well conceived in the city that it's pure pleasure to walk along the streets. We booked for 5 nights there and didn't regret one second this choice. Approx. 40 EUR for a double/per night is a good price for our standards. Large rooms, clean, (no real room service but who cares, after all ?). Security is OK inside the pension (1 key for each access door). Even the breakfast (not a high level quality products for sure but what can we expect at this price ???) is enough : buffet with eggs, sausages, cereals, coffee, tea, ham, vegetables, butter & jam...etc. Surroundings are obviously not as romantic as in the old town (Stare mesto) but frankly, this is not the point. It's quiet and easy with all the commodities available. If we thought about going back to Prague, we would definitly book a room in this very same hotel !

There is no permanently manned desk. They require payment in cash so make sure the amount you are paying in Czech crowns is agreed at the start. Rooms aren't cleaned every day and you may have to ask for soap/towels. Good, filling breakfast. I was very well treated but not everyone else was. A reasonable place if you are not too fussy. Excellent location for metro/tram. Area appears to be on the up. Bank with indoor ATM next door for when you need to get cash to pay them. I would stay there again.

The hotel is actually more a pension/ hostel. The price is great aswell as the location, though the rooms can be a bit noisy because there are some pubs in its suroundings. Next time I will spend more money on a hotel but for anyone who wants to stay cheap in Prague it's quite good!

we only saw two staff there, the young lady never smile, just finish her task every day. She gave us the passwork for wifi, but it didn't work. We double checked with her, she just repeat, I don't know. Even didn't check herself. And another is more friendly, but didn't clean the room every day. the best point for the hotel is the location, only 5 min walk to metro

-the hotel was not as close to downtown as I thought, but the underground station is nearby. -the welcoming-woman was bored and seemed bothered to see us - she had probably a "smile problem". -the room was dirty and for the bathroom we needed to buy a solution to clean it up properly. -we'stayed 4 days - only the garbage was taken from the room. -breakfast was good.

When we arrived, we found the hotel closed. We call the reception and after around 30 min. a person arrived. The room was quite nice. We stayed there 2 nights; however our room was not cleaned between these 2 days, which was quite suprising. The breakfast was good, typical czech. The location is very convenient, less than 2 min. to the subway station.

Hotel Aaron was totally acceptable for a 3 star pension. The breakfasts were substantial and very Czech. The service was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean but not serviced but if we needed extra toilet paper and clean towels they were happy to oblige. It was not as close to the station as we would have liked but we made the 2.5kms walk over the cobblestones reasonably well, until the wheels fell off the suitcase. Good Italian and Czech restaurant nearby. Near to Metro station to access other parts of Prague without diffifulty.

This budget hotel is really good value. The breakfast is plenty and good variety, rooms are spacious and clean.Right next door is a supermarket, 50 yards a metro,200 yards our favourite restaurant U Cerne Plice (gorgeous meal for two plus couple of beers and coffee for about £20) but plenty of others in a surroundings. We've just walked about 25-30 min. to the town centre. Easy access everywhere, to and from the airport under 1 hour fo a £1 (yellow metro to the terminus station Zlicin, from there bus 100 to the airport). Overall nice budget holiday.

We bad a very good experience with Pension Aaron in Prague. The breakfast was a cold buffet and the food was good quality. The room was clean, basic, perfect for our purpose. The staff was friendly. Location is great, prox. half an hour walk from city centre in a nice street but public transport also available (metro is 2 minutes distance). We would recommend this pension for low budgeted not too fussy travellers.

LOCATION & SURROUNDINGS Aaron is conveniently located at 50-100m from Krizikova metro (1 min walk). There are supermarkets, minimarts, restaurants and ATM's from 20-200m from Aaron. A walk to Namesti Republiky will take you approx. 15 min. ROOM The room we had (double bed, with possibility of 4 single beds) is nice, spacious and quiet. There's a TV, large wardrobe closet, table with glasses and 3 very comfortable chairs (which could rock and rotate). BATHROOM The ensuite bathroom's nice and efficient; toilet flushes properly, the shower is large enough (great for larger people). However, you need to hold the showerhead, since there isn't anything to hang it up. Always hot water available. BREAKFAST Breakfast's included and it was very nice (served in little breakfast room downstairs); lot's of bread brought to your table, cheese, meat, vegetables (tomatoes one day, peppers the other day, cucumbers the other day... each day different offer in meat and vegetables), pots of tea and coffee and sweets such as chocolate butter and jams. At the buffet you can get fruit, honey, milk, juices, cake, yoghurts and cereals. Each day Aaron offers a slightly different breakfast (we didn't get bored with it). STAFF The staff is very friendly and helpfull. Though little English is spoken,it is possible to communicate due to the will to understand eachother. OVERALL If you're looking for nice, simple and affordable accomodation, and don't mind using the metro to the citycenter (or walking 15 min),I can recommend Aaron. Price-quality = great value! I would stay at Aaron again.

Exellent location near metro station and close to the city center (15 minutes walk). Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Very quiet atmosphere. The price paid (35 Euro for two persons for one night stay) is reasonable. I'd return there without any doubt. It's a pity we had only one day and a half to visit Prague starting from this position (we had been 6-7 times in the Czech capital before) because we had to continue our trip to Dresden.

The pension is not located near any tourist attractions, but is very near to the metro, which will take you to the centre in about 15 min. The room itself was clean, spacious and had its own bathroom. The employees, however, provided poor service. I was interrupted during breakfast by the request of payment in a rather rude way. They did not seem to appreciate our business.

Going up those stairs with luggage it was an hair raising adventure. They were very steep and spiral and in places there were only a couple of inches to place your foot. Not only that, but in mid course you had to switch the hand holding the rail. A picture of a room never tell you the whole story. When we were leaving we found out that there was an indoor parking next door, while they told us at the arrival the parking was four blocks away where the lady took the money right away. We are a mature couple and anyone should be allowed to change their mind and get out of deal if physical security is in jeopardy. It also would be nice to be able to speak to somebody who understand English.
