Green Garden Hotel - Prague

Very pleasant hotel with nicely decorated restaurant. Great breakfast buffet with some variation in the menu for the three days that we stayed. Some road and sidewalk work in front of hotel made it a bit of a challenge to get around but I am sure that will be resolved in the near future. Safe five minute walk to metro. Some road noise heard in early am but no trouble sleeping throughout the night. Good value for the money.

We stayed at the Green Garden for a short break in mid April 2010. We were collected from the airport by car and after about half an hour arrived at the hotel. The receptionist was very welcoming and attentive to our needs and the room that had been allocated to us was great. Very well appointed and warm. We ate in the dining room and the food was very nice, well presented ad freshly cooked to order. the wine was also very drinkable. All in I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to prague.

When we arrived on 28/2/10 the girl on reception was far from helpful. We arrived 2 hours early which we had requested an early check in but were told we had to wait til 2pm. We were told we could get a drink in the bar which was just closing, as it closed every day between 2-5pm and then closed again at 11pm. So we got a drink and had to have it in an area off reception which was part of the evening restaurant area. When we eventually checked in the same girl was not helpful in answering any questions we had. Basically it was fend for ouselves.She was not good on giving us directions to anywhere we wanted to go.One would assume she would have provided us with some information in relation to tours which we could take from the hotel but she was not interested and never focused on us fully as she constantly dealt with other customers and phone calls while we were trying to talk to her.Eventually we gave up and decided we would be better finding our own way around. On a positive note, our room was superb and exactly what we requested. The staff responsable for cleaning our room were fantastic. So well done to them. Overall the hotel was very nice and very clean. The breakfast was superb and the breakfast staff were lovey. I would gladly return to prague as it is a beautiful city. I would also recommend Hotel Green Garden as its location is excellent and it is a lovely clean hotel. I would have no problem staying at Green Garden on a future trip provided there were a new recpionest to greet me. Colette

The hotel is good enough for the price you pay. The only thing i think i can complain about is the bed. The bed is not for two but for 1 and a half. The Free Wifi is provided only at the main floor so you cannot acces it from your room.

The hotel is fantastic, very romantic and with a special atmosfere. Service stuff is nice and helpful.

The room was very pleasant and modern. We especially liked the people working in the hotel as they were most kind and helpful. Also had a wonderful breakfast buffet. The location was also good.

Very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Excellent restaurant for good prices – having a dinner in the green garden restaurant was really special! Beautiful spacious rooms, spotlessly clean everywhere. Very good breakfast as well. Nothing complaints at all!

I´ve rely enjoyed stay at hotel Green Garden. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They´ve always responded in kind way when I asked for something. My room (501) was very spacious and quite. Bathroom was clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was excellent. As a business traveler I appreciated a safety deposit box for my laptop and internet connection in my room. I will definitely stay again at this hotel when I come back to Prague!!

Have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Green Garden Hotel in Prague. Had a wonderful stay, spotlessly clean everywhere, lovely rooms and food very good and reasonably priced. No complaints at all, reception staff very helpful also Daniel and Pavlina were both very helpful towards the four of us. My only negative comment would be that there were no tea, coffee making facilities in the room - take your travel kettle with you ! Am sure you will enjoy your stay. Would definitely go back again. Thanks again.

It was great...staff very helpful and the room was beautifully clean. within walking distance centre. I will definitely stay again at this hotel when I come to Prague!!

The Green Garden Hotel is about ten minutes walk from Wenceslas Square which makes it a very convenient location. It is also close by local tram and subway stops. We were visiting Prague to celebrate a birthday and the staff were very helpful in assisting with arrangements beforehand. The hotel isn't luxurious but it is perfectly comfortable and good value for money.

Proprio una bella sorpresa! considerato lo standard praghese di scarsa cordialità, questo hotel si è decisamente mostrato al di sopra della media. Gentilezza disponibilità e cortesia, puntualità nel rassettare le camere, una colazione veramente degna di questo nome. Insomma, davvero un bel soggiorno. Se proprio devo trovare dei nèi, potrei citare i dintorni dell'albergo, il quale sorge in mezzo a due strade a scorrimento veloce, ma va specificato che in 5 minuti si era alla fermata dei tram e dell'efficiente metro praghese. Lo consiglio senz'altro a chi non ritiene indispensabile una posizione in pieno centro storico. Peccato solo che per avere una camera con bidet abbiamo dovuto penare un po'....
