1. Breakfast was poor and every day the same. 2. I told three times at the reception that there are problems with water discharge in the shower, but the problem was nor solved during my stay. 3. The large towels were not changed daily.

The style of the room was quite unique and beautiful. The stairs to my room were beautiful but scary to walk up/down. Waking up to rain on the roof with breeze blowing in was wonderful. Amenities were outstanding. Moria, Adam, Chef were all excellent and helpful. Food was great. I would highly recommend.

Hotel Reception Staff extremely helpful and pleasant - they also recommended a lovely restaurant on the same road as the hotel: 'The Three Fiddles' at number 12, which had excellent food and attentive waiter service in a romantic setting for a decent price. Breakfast in Hotel Neruda was ok but the refills were very slow and the waiting staff not very friendly. Hotel interior decor is very attractive/modern design but not practical for anyone with limited mobility - lots of steps/different levels. We booked a parking space with the hotel which was 5-10 mins walk away (uphill), in the courtyard of a museum. For a one night stay, this was unnecessary as there were plenty of cheaper parking places available on the street near the hotel. Very disappointed with the bedroom - air conditioning noisy and completely ineffective. It felt hotter in the room than the street outside. An 'open plan' bathtub situated next to the bed is a cute idea but you have to stand in the bathtub to open the window, and it is impossible to use the shower head without wetting the bedroom floor and surrounding area. The toilet cubicle in the bedroom was so small as to be claustrophobic, with a transparent door! For the same price per night, we definitely preferred the Green Lobster hotel next door, which had an enormous (& cooler) bedroom with four poster bed, better breakfast and a separate bathroom.

Great location for the Castle, not suitable for those who don't like walking up hills, staff at reception very informative, helpful and cheerful. Only slight downside not very forward at ensuring breakfast buffet always topped up.. Would definetly use again.

Location to cathedral and castle was unbelievable! The hotel info stated close but I was expecting it to be a hike. It really is literally around the corner up the hill. Lots of good restaurants close by. Enjoyed a concert of Mozart and classical music just a few blocks from the hotel. We got lost every time we headed across Charles Bridge into the old town! Breakfast was a nice mix of bread choices, cheese/meats, jams, fruit and yogurt. Loved the hotel. When we arrived from Vienna, the Taxi from that train station to the hotel charged $1000 kroners. But the taxi to a closer train station on our return to Germany only charged $325.

Hotel molto carino, pulito e accogliente. Peccato che la camera non avesse alcun tipo di oscuranti alle ampie finestre. Buona la colazione, abbondante e varia. Ottima la posizione dell'hotel a pochi metri dal castello.

The location is useful to visit the Castle area but a little bit far from the tram stop. The rooms are quite small. My older son caused the fire alarm ring and the hotel charged me with a fine of 300 euro: honestly too much!

Room large and clean. A very efficient operation with excellent staff with good English spoken. The courier service from the airport very useful and although not a great distance is a useful benefit. The front desk always manned and great to be able to leave luggage after checking out and awaiting an evenming flight.

Very good value for money !!! We had a 4 nights stay and everything was perfect. The staff is very helpfull and the transfer service to and from the airport is great. The location of the hotel is very good as you can do everything on foot. Everything was exactly as described in the website. The lady in the restaurant was incredible...she could do whatever we want in just one minute and she was always there. We will be back for sure and recommend to anyone willing for a romantic trip to Prague !!!

For once a hotel that lived up to its promise... Neruda is as stylish, friendly and value for money as people and critics have described. Staff are helpful and efficient - they booked us last minute tables at popular restaurants, found us concerts and metro tickets, took us to the airport in comfort. In short, they made our stay effortless. Would go again and recommend to anyone. Oh, and they do seem to have the best hot chocolate in town.

Hotel Neruda was everything we had hoped it would be - small, charming, full of character and in an excellent location at the top of Nerudova, just beneath the castle. At night it was incredibly quiet outside - perhaps something to do with the time of year as well - it was February. The staff were very helpful in booking restaurants and tickets for us.We used the hotel service to take us to and from the airport which was prompt and easy.Cafe Caroline really does do the best hot chocolate in Prague! I would stay here again and have recommended Hotel Neruda to my friends and family.

There were 7 of us, aged 39 -74, and all agreed how enjoyable our stay was. The range of breakfasts offered were the best I have personally experienced; being a vegetarian I count being offered bio yoghurts and drinks, rye breads and fruit/vitamin drinks as a bonus. The others gorged on eggs and weiner sausages! To be Scrooge-like, a small criticism was the volume of seasonal music during the xmas weekend, but small beer really, & the little array of chocolate goodies welcoming us, was an inspiration. Happy, we shall return!

Hotel was modern, clean, and well run. staff extreamly frendly. the bar had a well stocked and varied spirits counter. hot chocolate and cakes are a hotel speciality and they are fantastic. the views from outside the hotel overlook prague which are breathtaking. on a down side the walk back up the hill from charles bridge is steep to say the least, and local bars close at 11pm. request! "put some draught beer on in the bar" overall a great hotel I will be back in December

The staff was welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. the situation of the hotel is amazing - probably the nicest possible area of Prague and the breakfasts are a treat in themselves to set you up for a day of walking. I cannot wait to return to Prague and I will want to stay again at the Neruda.

Fazit: Jederzeit wieder.

A fantastic hotel. Managed to be in one of the oldest streets in the city but have a fantasticly up to date decor. The positioning of the hotel was again perfect, being just outside of the main tourist area but within a 5 minute (and beautiful) walk.
