Nice hotel and excellent value for money. My room was well appointed, if rather noisy (ground floor opposite reception and with the staircase right next to my wall). Probably just a feature of that particular room. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good. The Dejvice district is not central, but it has very easy access to/from the airport and the metro is just a couple of minutes' walk, as are the trams. So it is quite convenient; you can get to town in under 20 minutes all told including walking time. It is a nice, safe area of town with plenty of small shops, pubs and restaurants.

A nice hotel for the price and close to many essentials for travelers; tabak, grocery, restaurants, metro stop. Although not in the direct neighborhood of any major points of interest, it is close enough to the metro to gain access to popular sights and areas of the city with a short train ride. A great budget stay and all attendants at the reception were very helpful with all questions and favors we asked of them.

Nice hotel at the great position in Prag. Our room was on the last floor, so maybe little to small, but fine and clean. Near city center and all transportation (tram, metro). Rich breakfast, employees were friendly. Hotel is in nice surroundings with lots of restaurants and pubs, enough parking space.

Excellent position of the hotel: it's only 10-15 minutes far from the very center of Prague and the main points of tourist interest. The only two remarks are: very small size of the bathrooms, and low heating with the room temperature of about 17-18 degreees Celcius. Anyway, considering the location, the price, the tasty and abundant breakfast, the politness of the personnel I would recommend it to young people, families with children and mature couples as well, and would return myself for another stay. There are different types of restaurants and cafe' nearby for every pocket open till 10-11 p.m.

After a battle trying to find the hotel (people handle English less than Deutsch and the map didn't help me much) following the transfer from train to the excellent metro system of Prague, I found Ave Denisa, which reminds the arquitecture of early 20th century, with ample stairs, spaces and pictures in the walls reminiscent of those times. The standards in the hotel are good, with some evident omissions (TV only sports channel (Eurosport) didn't satisfy me during my stay (too much kickboxing, wrestling, golf, swimming, cycling... Perhaps that week there wasn't any important tennis or football match), one day my room wasn't cleaned (I used to take breakfast really late, finishing between 10:30 and 11:00), some bulbs didn't light, there was not the now usual encapsulated shower but a traditional one with plastic curtain... But these minor circumstances were completely outweighted with the excellent breakfast, not the now usual orange juice with croisssant and coffee or tea, but besides this an ample choice which included beans with sausage, eggs, cereal with milk, fruit cocktail, ham and cheese, bread, toasts, cake, never ending yellow and red orange juice, orange and strawberry marmelade served in a pot, and a lady that was ready to serve and never remind that it was getting late (10.30 was the end time for starting having breakfast, not the usual 10:00 am). Other gold medal for the hotel were the superample lockers that serve as individual luggage rooms, extremely useful if you leave the hotel at 11:00 am and return for your luggage at 3:30 pm as happened to me. Surely AVE will be a hotel to consider next time I have the opportunity of visiting Prague.

I was shocked totally to see the hotel. The room was excellent. Its so big. It has a mini bar too! the only downside was bathroom doesn't have a door and its bit inconvenient when to use. else everything is excellent. its just 15 min from the airport. costed us 400 in Czech currency. just picked the cab from airport and gave the address. hotel is placed very near to the metro. 3 min walk. and airport bus also stops at same place. it took 20 min to reach airport on the bus. from old city the metro is just 3 stops away. you can reach charles bridge with in 2 stops from the metro and then 5 min walk. I would defintely checkin to this hotel again. not to forget, breakfast was awesome.

This hotel is located just a short walk from the Dejvicka Metro Station and is also well connected to the airport by the 119 bus. Trams and other city buses are within steps as well! The location is by far the best thing about the Hotel Ave-Denisa, but the service and cleanliness were superb as well! To top it off, the staff are friendly and accommodating. Also, our room came with a HUGE bathroom, a change from the usual tiny European bathrooms. I will certainly stay there on my next trip to Prague.

I arrived late and left early to catch a flight, but the hotel met my needs. It was quiet, close to public transportation to the airport, breakfast was included, and the price was fair. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and everything was clean, so no complaints from me!

This hotel represents excellent value, with a good range of amenities (including wi-fi internet access, tea/coffee making facilities, in-room safe and minibar). The location is a little removed from Old Prague (about 30 minutes' walk via Prague Castle), but there is a metro station located nearby (Dejvicka). It was quite easy to get to from the airport (bus service to Devjicka Metro station), although it did take a while. There's a supermarket on the corner, which is handy. Being out of the town centre, good eating options are very limited (there is a pub with reasonable and cheap food about 250 metres from the hotel on the road towards Prague Castle) and there is no nightlife, but I didn't find this a problem personally. If you don't mind staying slightly out of town (and consequently, away from nightlife and the action of Prague), I would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in good position, very near to metro station of Deivicka and in a quiet zone. I had a room at ground floor near to the reception and maybe for this reason it was very noisy especially in the morning. Also breakfast quality could be improved.

Excellent accommodation and value when booked through the internet. Spacious, clean, comfortable room. Breakfast room rather small and service not very good as guests had to wait for some main food items to be replenished. Better dining-room staff training or more staff needed. But cannot fault the overall value.

Prezzo molto buono.

I spend 3 days in Ave-Denisa and very happy with their service. The breakfast was great and rooms are clean. The reception is very helpful, they can change your USD and you can buy subway ticket there. There is a computer next to reception, can check mails etc. It's very easy to go to airport and subway. Althought it's not in city centre, but very easy to get there. If I will return to Prague, I will for sure go to Ave_denisa again.

Pleasant stay and helpful staff. Breakfast is good. A supermarket which opens till late at night is just around the corner. Room did not have good sound-proofing, can hear activities along the corridor clearly. A bit far from the city where the attractions are. The metro subway is nearby, but it is the last station of the line.

The room was spacious and quiet, even if the bathroom was a bit unconfortable (two people together could not move easily). The cleaness was not so perfect(I suppose the vacuum cleaner is not used every morning...), but we had a good stay, anyway. I would advice this hotel to my friends, mostly for the excellent breakfast and for the good position.

This hotel is very nice. The room we had was spatious, clean (with a bath) and calm in a neighbourhood that seems to be secure. It is not located in the centre of Prague (+ or - 3 km from the centre). But at 3 minutes walk, there is a metro station (3 stations from the centre - 10 min) and the bus line to go to the airport (bus 119 - 20 minutes until the airport). The are also lockers to put your suitcases the first and last day. So, unless you want to stay late in the night in Prague, I recommand this hotel.

We stayed here for three nights the hotel is in a very good location if coming in by the airport bus as its only 5 mins walk from the stop. It is also only 5 mins walk from the metro and 2 stops from the city centre. We had a down stairs room next to the front door which was a bit noisy, however we did have a ceiling fan which kept the room nice and cool. The hotel is basic but ticks the right boxes on the important things like, having comfortable beds and being very cheap at around £110 for 3 night for 2 including a very good breakfast we cannot complain. If oyu are looking for a place to crash that is easy to get to and don't want any frills then this is the place to stay

I cannot compare the web page and actual property (therefore: 5), as I was told that due to technical problems, I had to change hotel, so I did not stay at Ave Denisa Hotel, but at the Monastery Residence (which is also a Ave hotel). I had to pay the same, although it was a higher category hotel. Reception staff was really kind and helpful in both hotels. The hotel room was very spatious and clean. Breakfast area was a bit small, but OK. The hotel is located at a five-minute walk from Prague castle, and has a tram station just outside the front door: very good location. Good place to stay in Prague.

Good accomodation, the room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was good both in quality and in quantity, almost an English breakfast. The free internet point was a plus too. However, the hotel lacked of a real hall with a lounge room (I really didn't miss it, but for a family it would be useful). Anyway, it is an hotel absolutely worth the money you pay, I would recommend it.

when we arrived at the hotel, they already asked us to pay, but their credit card machine was broken and they wanted me to pay in cash, what is ridiculous, becouse I booked there becouse I would be able to pay by credit card. the bedroom was dirty, we had to wait almost 30 minutes for the room to be cleaned and the recepcionist was a bit rude, not profesional at all. the bedroom was good, the breakfast was Ok and the localization was fine, a little bit to far from the centre. In the next time, I will look for another hotel to stay, becouse the city is gargeous!!
