Corinthia Hotel Prague - Prague

Prior communication with the hotel regarding rooms and airport transfers were excellent. For a 5* Hotel, I was surprised that although this was a double birthday celebration visit, there was no acknowledgement of that fact, such as a token bottle of wine in the room or something similar, which we have experienced in the past. Also, something very noticeable - nobody smiled, there was no smiling niceness from the staff what so ever. They just did their job as they are paid to do, but no free smiles. Throughout the hotel there is a smokers smell, everywhere, very subtle, but smoking is everywhere and the smell remains. Overall the hotel was absolutely perfect for a 2 night stay with total convenience with regards to the metro situated next door. I would recommend this hotel, especially the ease of the airport transfers.

We loved this place. Everything about it! The room was very large, clean, and very cool air conditioning. The help was wonderful and the breakfast was great. Free WiFy. They had a computer down stairs that we could use. I would reccomend this place to anyone.

Excellent hotel, the best in all our travel in Europe, not so expensive and 5 stars category, the breakfast was excellent with many dishes and fruit. I recommend it widely. It has a beautiful view from it to the city.

The understanding of English, and lack of communication between staff on certain issues was not good..we did not receive our luggage for whole holiday, although not the hotels fault, different staff members told us to do different things, one said we needed ref. and ring airport. others said, they would deliver. in the end , we did not receive our luggage. It arrived at the hotel on the last day, after we had checked out and the hotel staff, accepted this luggage, even though we did not return to the hotel, we had to then pay for a taxi to deliver our luggage to the airport before we departed for Dublin. This was very un satisfactory, as it was the hotels fault, for accepting the luggage after we had checked out of the hotel. Annmarie

Excellent hotel in great location for the metro. The only aspect of fault is the decor of the rooms which need up graded. The Asian and Italian restaurants are both excellent and should not over looked. The price of drink in the hotel is too expensive when compared to the rest of Prague. I would rate the hotel at 4 rather than 5 stars.

Globally good hotel, comfortable in combinatio with business meetings. Matrasses are too flappy with springs. Good location close to center / metro.

It was a real pleasure to stay in the Corithia Towers Hotel during our stay in Prague. The directions given to the hotel were easy to follow and as it states, the hotel is only 20 yards from the Metro Station. Use the 119 bus from the airport and then take the Metro (40 minutes) to the hotel it only cost 20 Koruna (50 pence) each). At the Hotel the staff in all areas were very pleasant and most helpful and made our stay very enjoyable and should be commended. Food - Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. The diner in the Beer & Bowling was as good as the breakfast, pity my bowling wasn't. Considering the hotel was a five star rating the price was that of a 3 - 4 star therfore great value for money.

Very disappointed, does not deserve its 5* rating. Waiting staff were unhelpful and did not like being asked to do anything. Sheets did not cover the bed and blankets were scruffy. Try elsewhere!

All of prices in the hotel are little bit expensive compare with in the PRAGUE city. Although their service was good, the room(1808) temperature was too high because I could be not controllable by the air conditioner.
