The hotel was in a great location; close to good restaurants and tourist sights. The hotel was well maintained. They had lots of little extras. For example: English newspapers, free use of computers in the lobby, free coffee, tea & expresso in the lobby, a few complimentary drinks in the mini bar and free wifi. The Hot and Cold breakfast was really just a cold breakfast. The only hot items were hard boiled eggs and hot sausages.

Assistance of a porter to carry bags to the old wing would be appreciated. We witnessed a lady travelling alone having difficulty lugging her sutcases up the stairs.

I stayed at Cloister Inn from 26th April'11-30th April'11! The hotel for a 3* was excellent in every way....sightseeing/shops/restaurants/bars etc etc The only 2 things I would like to see offered by the hotel in the rooms are tea and coffee makers in every room and for the telephone to be on the bedside table instead of it being on the reading table! Overall, we had a great experience staying at the hotel and will recommend it to anyone visitng Prague!

Great location. Friendly staff. Room was clean and quiet. Mini fridge in room with complimentary drinks which was a nice touch. Would recommend the Ultimate Prague walking tour which was on the city map provided by hotel. Would stay again.

Everything about the Cloister Inn suited us to a T: a clean, comfortable room and bathroom, a line to hang washed clothing on, a generous breakfast, a great location for walking through old town, free WiFi, a great lounge with coffee, tea and more, air conditioning, a great price and staff that were incredibly helpful when my husband's wallet was stolen as we boarded the train to Prague. The staff speaks several languages too: I heard Czech, English, German, Spanish and French within a 10-minute interval. There was a little noise outside our room one night, but we had left our windows open. The Cloister gave us discount cards to the Stoleti Restaurant tow blocks away toward the river and we were delighted with the food there.

We liked the spaciousness of our room, especially the bathroom. Breakfast was very enjoyable, lots of choice, including fresh fruit. Coffee could have been better but ok. We were able to walk to the Old Town Square, Wenseslas Square and back from the castle although we took the tram (no. 22) up the steep hill to the castle. Disappointed by the business of Charles Bridge. Lots of good cafe/bars and restaurants within easy walking distance of the Cloister Inn.

Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti dall'albergo sia dal punto di vista della pulizia e della comodità. Situato in centro consente di non dover prendere alcun mezzo per raggiungere i luoghi artistici della città. Complessivamente un ottimo servizio.

It was a pleasure to stay at this hotel. It is located in a very quiet street which is within a short walking distance of the river, Charles Bridge, the Old Town Square, the metro and trams. The staff are very friendly and helpful and they obviously enjoy their work.

Good hotel in a great location. Breakfast was sufficient but not great. Our room was a bit strange in that it was larger then expected but that's only because it was two rooms, but sparsely furnished so it just felt like an afterthought.

Though the single room was rather small, the room was very clean and generally quiet, and the important thing is it is very close to the Charles Bridge. Breakfast was excellent

In all our travels, this was by far the best hotel. Staff were very helpful and available at the front desk 24 hours. Location was good, 10 mins from metro station & 10 mins from main attractions. Free Internet & Tea/Coffee facilities at all times, and breakfast was great (included in the price). Staff provided us with a boxed breakfast for our early rise. Thank you to the staff for acknowledging our wedding anniversary and for making us feel special. We will definitely return and recommend this hotel to others.

When we arrived, they did not have a room for us at the Cloister Inn,which was reserved many months in advance. They said they had a room at the sister property, which we were a little nervous about at 11pm, but following the man through an unfinished corrider and wet plaster, cement and paint, reached the Unitas-where we stayed 5 nights, which is now a renovated inn, no longer a hostel type accommodation. So the room was very nice and we accepted it at the same rate, nice bedding, new flatscreen tv, clean, lovely bathroom, bright and accommodating if somewhat inexperienced young staff, and a truly enjoyable breakfast room. Turned out very well, but a few minutes of concern, as we did not know what the street was like, etc. The wellplanned reservation did not hold up.

I would highly recommend the Cloister Inn for a stay in Prague. Only 5 minutes walk to Charles Bridge, and about 10 minutes to old town square. VERY WELL SITUATED and very competent and helpful staff. I'll stay there again.

A peaceful, relaxing hotel in a wonderful location. All the main tourist attractions were within easy walking distance, yet you were unaware of the city centre hustle and bustle inside the hotel. There were plenty of cafes and restaurants in the streets nearby.

The hotel is located in the center of the city, just 200 meters from Charles bridge in a quiet zone. The hotel is very nice and the rooms are clean and confortable. We had a very pleasent stay. If we'll go back to Praha certainly we'll return to the Cloister Inn.

The Cloister Inn is a fantastic hotel - breakfast was included and was tasty and generous, the hotel's location is prime and the staff were lovely and helpful. Restaurace Stoleti is a few minutes walk away and is great food/value for money and Pravda on Pařížská 17, is perfect for any special occasion.

This is a great place to stay if you are on a budget. The breakfast was sufficient and the rooms were very clean and cozy. You can tell that the owners care about appearance and service. There are no extras at this hotel, but everything is just around the corner: restaurants, bars and sights. Everything around the old city center is within walking distance. Bring comfortable shoes as you will be walking on a lot of cobblestone. Restaurace U Vejvodů at Jilska 4 in Prague 1 is near the hotel and is a great place to hang out for dinner and some drinks. When you first walk in it looks like a medium size bar, but head down the stairs and you will find a huge room with balcony seating for eating. Lots of fun!

The room was large, but not well furnished -- small beds, cheap pine dresser. The toilet leaked so we kept having to jiggle the handle after flushing to get it to stop. Free coffee in the lobby, but powdered creamer. How hard would it be to provide real milk or cream?

Prague is a wonderful city, and Cloister Inn is located right in the middle of the city with all the main tourist attractions in walking distance. Nevertheless the room was very quiet with no noise-problems at all. The staff was very friendly and helpful with the luggage and with booking a city tour. I spent four sightseeing-days with a good friend of mine in this hotel - and if we come back to Prague we would definetely stay in the Hotel Cloister Inn again.

Reference my quote about the noise level - hotel was quiet but I need fresh air to sleep comfortably. Our room looked out onto the main road and on the Fri and Sat night it was particularly noisy. BUT we did enjoy ourslves and the the staff were all very kind and helpful

The lady receptionists are very pleasant, patience and ever helpful. Their proficiency in English was a great help as we speak not a word of the local language. The free internet service is a fantastic facility as it enable us to contact our children abroad. The free welcoming coffee/tea was a simple gesture which is much appreciated after a long journey. The location of the hotel is superb and we get to visit almost all the places of interest on foot.
