Angelo Hotel Prague - Prague

Perfectly met our expectations: hotel seems like brand new (if it is not, then it is very well maintained: absolut cleanliness!), it was quiet, we requested twin beds and got them, staff was friendly and most helpful (called from front desk to help us book an appointement in town etc), gave us a map of Prague to be able to get around, showing us the main points of interest, computer for the internet (free of charge) is also available in the lobby, which can be handy, breakfast is just as expected for a 4 stars hotel (plenty and varied), location is near transports of all kind (bus, tram, metro), near shopping centre, pharmacy etc. I would definitely come back any time there! just one point negative point (if any)so that leaves space for improvement: the orange juce in the morning is just not good at all (and I am not fussy: it's just urgghhh) freshly pressed would be much better (and usual in 4 stars hotels) rather than the chemical tasty ones offered for breakfast...but really, other than this very minor point, all was perfect!!!

Definitely a recommended hotel! Everything was perfect! The staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious, the rooms were spacious and clean and the hotel price was excellent considering the services we had during our stay. The hotel is a bit far from the city centre, but is walking distance to the tram/metro stops so reaching the centre is not a problem. The front desk even sells tickets for the public transport which makes travelling to the centre hassle-free.

Hotel Angelo's price (we had 4 nights for the price of 3) seemed too good to be true so we were a little worried what we'd find, but we were delighted. The hotel is stylish and well-equipped, and the staff are unfailingly helpful and friendly. It's modern and near the shops so if you are after an olde-worlde experience go elsehwere but otherwise you won't be disappointed.

Excellent location near Andel station, very attentive hotel staff, and super clean and new rooms. As an added plus, rooms come with breakfast!

Prague is probably one city you can arrive in and not have a hotel booking - there are people selling hotel rooms for cheap in great locations. We booked ahead to be safe and probably paid more than we should have but wanted a nice hotel. We got a little lost getting to the hotel but once we arrived we realized it was very near to public transportation. Out of 6 cities this hotel had the BEST breakfast and we still talk about the food we ate. Breakfast staff was wonderful and helpful. Hotel is located in a residential area - not touristy - but easy walk over to the tourist sites. Hotel room was high tech, bed was amazingly comfortable and bathroom was big...largest room we had on our entire trip. To summarize - hotel is fabulous, breakfast was delicious but location could have a been a little more central.

I'm always reserved when I read reviews online and the description of hotels on travel sites, but here my expectations where over met. Hotel Angelo was really really good, for the price we paid it was excellent! The location is pretty good with a few good restaurants in Angelo (60m walking), walking distance to Charles bridge, the old & new town if you're not lazy. If you are there is 60m walking distance to the subway station & trams that will take you there in mere minutes. Breakfast was very good altough not really in my taste but lot's of warm breakfast for thoose who like that. A big big plus was they served you your own coffee pot right on the table.

L'hotel Angelo a Praga si è dimistrata una scelta eccellente. Hottimo hotel, molto bello e ben curato, zona silenziosa(spece al 6° piano) dove alloggiavamo Noi. Molto comodo per una visita di 3 giorni in questa bella Città in quanto la stazione metro e il tram (molto bello per osservare le varie parti della Città)sono ha pochi minuti a piedi dell'Hotel. Eccellente il servizio fornito dal personale, ottima la colazione. Vorrei consigliare anche l'uso del servizio taxi da e per l'aeroporto, prenotabile via internet, con servizio di prelevamento al gate di uscita e sotto l'Hpotel per il rientro. Il costo non è esagerato 44€ andate e ritorno ma ti fà risparmiare delle ore che puoi usare per girare in Città. Praga è molto bella spece in Maggio.

A great hotel in a great city! We had an excellent stay. A welcoming staff, some jazz music... I would recommend it.

Hotel is located 40 minute walk to main sites, old town square, charles bridge, prague castle etc. hotel will provide car which is expensive enough 14 euro for less than ten minute drive. Be early for breakfast, not much left with about 30 minutes left before buffet closes so you have to ask for eggs. bacon etc. Overall very good hotel, spotless and friendly staff.

Spent 5 nights in Superior rooms with my wife and my older daughters, very clean and quiet hotel, new fashion style and nice staff. Very good big buffet breakfast with all kind of food. A bit away from the city centre but public transport (tram + tube) very close to it. I advise it and definitely would be back there.

Fantastic hotel in good location. It was only a short walk to a metro stop, was located next to a cinema complex and just near a big shopping centre. The rooms were very clean and new, with two movie channels and lots of other english language channels. Breakfast was good and the food in the restaurant for dinner was also good. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Excellent breakfast buffet. Needs better furniture in the rooms, more darkeness is desirable at nightime inside the chambers. Wonderful offer "pay 3 stay 4". We took it and were very pleased. That makes your stay in Prague more complete and relaxed. Is very nice not to be right downtown but ony 10 minutes afar. It's a shame you don't get free wifi connection.

Ottimo hotel, di alta qualità. La camera è bellissima, pulita e soprattutto il letto è ultra comodo, si riposa da signori! Ottimo anche il bagno. Pochi i difetti, alla reception parlano inglese, niente italiano, e il cambio con l'euro non lo fanno molto favorevole per il pagamento;inoltre la donna delle pulizie prova ad entrare di continuo in camera la mattina, ricordarsi di appendere il cartellino fuori dalla camera di "not disturb". Si può girare sempre a piedi anche per arrivare in centro oppure usare la metro che è vicina ed efficiente. Nei dintorni ci sono pub dove si mangia benissimo e non sono turistici!

This is a great hotel for people who want to pay a little (but not a lot) more for a very QUIET room that is super clean, nice, has AC (a real plus in the summer) and are willing to be a few more minutes away from the heart of Prague sight-seeing in order to be in a place that won't be loud. It was worth it for us - and everyone there was very nice. The price from Venere was over 1/3 of their regular rate, too, so we felt like we got a bargain. They also serve an amazing breakfast - and it goes until 10:30. So we slept late, ate late, had an afternoon snack, but skipped lunch. It is a 20 minute walk or 10 minute tram/subway ride to the hotel from the heart of historical areas, which isn't that bad although it was a little further than I was expecting. But other options are either futher away, on really busy streets, or right in the historic district which is busy with tourists until all hours. The beds were very comfortable, and we slept very soundly (and I am a light sleeper, so this is a big deal!). I'll stay there again for sure and definately recommend it highly!

Muy buen hotel, bien situado cerca del metro. Únicamente dos cosas malas: 1.- Mucha gente. En el desayuno tenía la sensación de estar en el metro en hora punta. Aún así era muy bueno. 2.- El precio del garaje estaba equivocado n la página web. Por lo demás la calificación del hotel es excelente. NOTA: cuidado con los checos que son muy antipáticos

Hotel Angelo was an excellent hotel! My husband and I loved the spaciousness, the modern-ness, the facilities and helpfulness of the staff. The location was convenient and it's near a supermarket that closes late and there are many restaurants around.
