Hotel Albion - Prague

Sono stato a Praga per Pasqua con la mia famiglia, l'hotel è situato in periferia ma in una zona tranquilla e servito benissimo con l'autobus 137 che ferma davanti all'hotel ogni 10/15 minuti e porta alla fermata della metropolitana di Andel. L'unico inconveniente è quello di capitare nello stesso piano con le gite di studenti..... un po' rumorose, visto che l'hotel è frequentato molto da comitive. Comunque il nostro soggiorno è stato molto soddisfacente.

The hotel is really good. It has an excellent price for the service and quality provided. The pitfall is that is 25 min from city centre and the first time it is hard to find, since the czech numbering is strange.

This hotel is listed as being IN Mala Strana. It is not. It is, in fact, several kilometers from Mala Strana. The hotel also provided details of its facilities that were only available in its sister hotel.

Bath towels and bed sheets with holes or broken don´t correspond to a 4-stars-hotel! The location in the map is completely wrong. The Hotel is 40 min away with the bus, instead of in the center of Prague. They know about this mistake but they just don´t care because they profit from this This is just unacceptable! I feel completely cheated

The interior of the hotel is nice. So are the bathroom. The room itself is moderate, except the tired windows. The breakfast is awful,- the restaurant 200m away is strongly recommended. Access by car is fine.

Good hotel for bussines, not for holiday. Price good for internet not direct. Restaurant very poor!

The hotel was very nice. was a little bit out of town. Had to get a bus to the bus station and then a tram to the centre. Overall it was a nice stay though.

En general la estancia fue excelente , yo sinceramente lo recomendaria, es verdad esta un poco retirado del centro, pero con el bus y el metro en 15 minutos estas en el centro, y no es dificil llegar, una vez que uno se orienta donde se ubica el hotel , todo es muy facil.El hotel te ofrece toda la informacion. Mi esposo solo recomendaria que en el desayuno utilizaran frutas , que no fueran de lata. Pero de lo demas esta muy bien, el desayuno es buffet y creo que por el precio es justo.

THE GOOD: The disabled room was very nice and our disabled friend was catered for in an acceptable way. The room was enormous in size and included a spacious bathroom with bathtub. The staff were generally quite accomodating of his needs. The public areas were very comfortable with friendly bar staff, fountain in the beer garden, peaceful and relaxing. The bar food is very tasty and well priced. The breakfast wasn't great, but had all the essentials. THE BAD: The Grand restaurant was nothing but an over priced buffet. Also, I am vegetarian and asked for the vegetarian options available in the buffet. The one waitress had no idea about any of the dishes, instead she gave me some non-vegetarian selections, which I came to find out about when the chef was passing by - lucky! So what did I end up eating for 10 pound buffet? Boiled potatoes, boiled mixed vegetables, boiled rice, oh and a few bread rolls with butter... As for the standard rooms: * No tea and coffee making facilities on arrival. Next day a kettle and some sackets arrive. * Beds are wooden board based with worn out 3 inch mattresses - very uncomfortable! * The room were not spacious at all - there should have been maybe a single bed in there, and that's it. Instead this was claimed to be a "twin" room, but they forgot to mention that space is an unrealistic expectation. OVERAL VERDICT: If you are looking for a 4 star hotel, DON'T TRY YOUR LUCK! If you are looking for a good 3 star, it's recommended. Rooms and restaurant = 2 star Public areas and reception = 4 star IT SHOULD BE ADVERTISED AS A 3 STAR HOTEL!!!!

THIS HOTEL IS REALLY GOOD, EXCEPT THAT IT IS A LITTLE BIT FAR FROM DOWNTOWN. IT NEEDS CURTAINS IN THE ROOM AS IN THE SHOWER.

The Hotel's location indicated on map is wrong. It is far from sights but this is not a problem; with the very good bus (137 - every five minutes about) in five/seven minutes you're at the Metro's stop (Andel) and trams' stop too. So you can reach sights in few minutes (till over midnigth). This location allow you to see also another side of Prague (the day by day town). So I suggest it very much.

This is a Hotel for tours, NOT FOR COUPLES. You can see busses parked in front of the hotel. The food was terrible (both dinner and breakfast). The breakfast is free for everyone, and is terrible. I try it the fisrt day but then we couldn´t anymore. Finally the hotel is TOO FAR from the center of Prague.

It's perfect, I only had some problems in exactly understanding how to get there...but once you know the transportation means, it only takes 20 min to the center of Prague. Price/ quality is simply great!

Very nice room. but quite far from city center(takes 20mins by bus&train)
