This was my first visit to Prague. I am American, teaching English in Slovakia. Of course, I prefer wi-fi and coffee in my room, but was able to do without for just a weekend. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, able to address all my questions and concerns. I probably would not be able to recommend it to family and friends from the U.S., because they, too, would want wi-fi and coffee in the room. But I had a great time. I could walk anywhere. I did take a small tour, recommended by the hotel, and it was excellent. I usually avoid organized tours, but it was raining. I'm glad I took the manager's advice!!

Loved the idea of staying on a boat. There was plenty of room for us and breakfast was bountiful BUT there was lots of noise in our room due to the connection between boat and dock whenever there was movement on the river. Perhaps rooms in other locations would be more quiet. Also, ask if there will be a wedding reception or other party on the boat during your stay.... lots of music and guest noise late in the night.

We had a very nice and competent welcome. The breakfast was great, the public transport near and we had a room with a Moldau-view... Many thanks!

It was an enjoyable stay, absolutely up to our expectations. The receptionists were really helpful and friendly, with fluent English. We were provided with all sorts of maps and leaflets alongside with word-of-mouth information about the tours of Prague. Nearly all the sights and fancy restaurants were within the walking distance. The Admiral restaurant was really fantastic, with a variety of choice for breakfast, a delicious nicely served dinner on one of the evenings and cosy atmosphere. The view of the Vltava with its white swans and bridges was charming both day and night. The only thing that we lacked was a fridge in the room but the staff helped us out and let us use the big one in the lobby. Thank you and best regards!

The rooms were very clean and sized as I would expect being as how the hotel is a boat. The food was very good, and the staff was helpful and friendly. The front counter staff spoke English well. This hotel is about 3 blocks from the underground.

Extremely helpful desk staff, delicious abundant breakfast, generally a lovely atmosphere. Unfortunately we stayed only one night, but would definitely return there for a longer stay. Highly recommended!

In general is a good level hotel, but at night there is to much noise from outside of the river because too many sirens of police and ambulance,i suggest to change the glasses of window.

Great location and atmosphere. Very helpful staff. The only negative for our stay was the fact they were in the process of painting the exterior and there was a very strong smell of paint/epoxy in the guest room hallways and almost as bad in the rooms.

The botel was lovely, rooms were very small but as you would expect on a boat.Bed was very comfy and the room and en-suite was clean. Staff were friendly and efficient. Location was good as it was only 15-20 mins walk to the old town.

A very enjoyable break and the Botel was well decorated and designed. Rooms a little small but that was expected. Excellent boatel, well situated, quite area, distance to all touristic points very good, no need to use public traffic (metro etc.), very clean rooms, good service, people are very kind, good informations, very good kitchen (five ***** for dinner), breakfast could be a little bit more varied if you stay on board for a week. Will use this hotel next time again, no doubt!!! New and very good experience.

It's all ok! We paid the same amount indicated on Web reservation, location is right (twenty minutes walk from Carl Bridge, tram on the other river-side, close to metro station), room are not so spacious (it's a ship!), but it's a good basis !!!

I would highly recommend the Admiral Botel to anyone who is visiting Prague. It is really close to the trams and the metro from the Airport! The rooms are nice and the interior of the botel is wonderful!

The bar area is quite unique with a really nice view over the river, very cool for having a nice beer while the sun goes down. The big lighting system in the middle of the bar ceiling was never turned on much to our disappointment & amusement! Guess if it had been it might have landed aircraft!! The only disappointing aspect was not being able to charge drinks or food back to our room from the hotel bar or restaurant, but this was not a show-stopper.
