Hotel City Club Prague - Prague

The hotel is considering it's price reasonable, however the 3 stars are definitely overrated. The service was rather lacking, we had to pay additionally for the safe (which we had to set up ourselves, by going to the lobby and receiving oral instructions on how to do so). The location itself is considerably good, however despite the spacious rooms, all our windows were heading out to the main street with a 4 lane traffic. Basically we could only sleep with open windows (no airconditioning) and with open windows it is really tough to sleep with heavy traffic right in front of the window. The room itself was badly equipped with a barely intact bathroom. The low price makes up for a lot of the inconveniences, but by far not for all of them. I would not recommend it, unless you are planing on barely spending any time at the hotel.

Good location at a reasonable price.

Very satisfactory hotel. good location between city and conference centre. comfortable and quiet. Breakfast could be improved: some fruit, better juice, better cleaning.

the staff was a bit grumpy and the breakfast lacks some fresh fruit and REAL fruit juice, but the room and the pubic areas were very clean.

Tres bruyant. Accueil tres froid.Probleme reservation chambre+ garage.Petit dejeuner nul. Hotel eloigne des transports urbains. Nous n y retournerons plus.

Hôtel à éviter !!! L'accueil y a été déplorable. Nous avons eu affaire à un personnel profondément antipathique et qui a voulu, de surcroît, nous faire payer 60 euros de plus que le prix annoncé sur le site venere. Ils nous ont donné le bon prix en euros mais l'ont augmenté , l'air de rien, de 60 euros lors de la conversation en couronnes tchèques. C'est en vérifiant cette conversion que je m'en suis apperçue. Prudence donc au moment de payer car de nombreux touristes ont déjà dû se faire arnaquer ainsi. Nous avons quand même payé 6 euros de plus que les prix notés sur le site car ils nous ont appliqué un taux de change très élevé ! L'hôtel est à 20 minutes à pied du centre mais se situe le long d'une route à 4 voies extrêmement bruyante. Autant dire qu'il est impossible de dormir dans une chambre ne donnant pas côté cour ! Par ailleurs, cet hôtel est énorme et semble spécialisé dans l'accueil de groupes d'ados étrangers. Pour conclure, je déconseille très vivement cet hôtel sans aucun charme et surtout où l'honnêté n'est pas de mise.

Niente da ridire sull'albergo in sè: colazione internazionale abbondante, personale gentile e camere pulite. L'unico inconveniente è l'ubicazione: in effetti sono solo 10 minuti da piazza Venceslao (come dichiarato) ma un po' fuori mano per visitare l'intera città.

Dalle indicazioni del sito sembrerebbe esservi disponibilità di parcheggio privato, ma in realtà i posti sono pochissimi e l'accesso al minuscolo garage interno è molto stretto, esige notevole perizia e comporta rischi per l'auto. Il parcheggio più vicino è a circa 10-15min. a piedi, e costa molto. In alternativa noi abbiamo fortunosamente parcheggiato nei posti con parchimetro nelle vicinanze (max 6 ore, gratis sabato e domenica) ma l'hotel non è comunque da raccomandare a chi viaggia in auto. Da notare che l'ampia strada davanti, pur centrale, assomiglia più a un'autostrada, con auto che sfrecciano a 80 all'ora e senza attraversamenti pedonali, pericolosissima! Comunque a piedi si arriva in 10-15min.in piazza Venceslao.
