Hotel Locanda Sole - Pozzolengo

The hotel was very nice and the people waited until my late arrival which was really appreciated. By the way a water failure happened so we couldn't go to the toilet, wash ourselves and they also refused to make us a tea (they could have used mineral water for once). We asked for a discout for the service failure but they didn't give it to us because "it wasn't their fault", which I think is unprofessional.

Very good Hotel with nice surroundings. Although town is quiet there isn't much to do. Didn't find any restaurants nearby (ok only searched for 15 mins) and ate at the Hotel.

Very nice hotel and rooms are very spacious. SkyIT TV was even included in the room (nice surprise!) In front of hotel there is a "square" overlooking a valley - downside was that during my stay it was very misty and didn't see quite a lot!

Pueblecito muy próximo al lago de Garda y con facil acceso desde la autopista. Gente encantadora, dos veces se ofrecieron a acompañarnos al hotel cuando preguntamos donde estaba. Personal de recepción muy simpatico a la llegada aunque no hablaba inglés nos entedimos en "itañol". Se disculparon porqué habíamos reservado dos habitaciones triples y una de ellas no tenia aire acondicionado, solo ventilador. Aparcamiento gratuito en el jardín del edificio. Desayuno correcto. El menú de la cena en el restaurante del hotel es bastante sencillo y no hay aire acondicionado. Por lo demás muy agradable y un buen punto de partida para visitar Sirmione, Verona y el Veneto.

Cet hotel a rempli pleinement ce que nous attendions : une étape vers Venise. Situé à qques km de l'autoroute, il est dans un petit village sans attrait touristique, mais joli et calme. Possibilité de demi pension (15 euros supplémentaires par personne). L'hotel lui même est une grande bâtisse en centre ville avec parking. Refait il y a peu. Très belle et grande chambre. Salle de restaurant très belle.

Arrived late due to delayed flight and staff waited for us. Sounds from adjoining room (shower, toilet flushing, wardrobe) were very audible on just one night of our stay when that room was occupied. Otherwise hotel was very quiet. Rooms were clean and basic. Some drinking glasses in bedroom would have been useful. Breakfast was adequate - cereals, juice, yogurt, tea/coffee, bread rolls, jams etc., cheese and cold meat if required. Pozzolengo is a quiet, pleasant town, close enough by car to Lake Garda but a quieter option if you don't savour the hustle and bustle of lakeshore towns. Overall we got what we paid for.
