Nice place - very clean room (the bathroom could be a bit better), nicely decorated, mixing old and modern. Bed and linnen were proper, clean and comfortable. The best part was the breakfast, which for 13 € was really worth it. To conclude - we would not hesitate to come again :)

Good hotel. Friendly staff. However some of the little conveniences mentioned in hotel sevrices in room folders did not exist such as being able to sell the guets stamps and local travel tickets. Breakfast was excellent but would have like it to be included in price quoted as a B and B price. Food good quality but menu small for dinner. Staff very helpful.

The hotel is both new and modern and indeed well designed, placed near the river. The room was nice ans spaciuos and you could find a lot of useful information about current exhibitions and museums in Potsdam and Berlin. The breakfast was also good but unfortunately extremely costly (about 15Eur per person), even though the website informed that its price is included in the room price.

The reservation confirmation I reserved quoted the price as including breakfast. At the hotel this turned out to be false information. The hotel decided to waive our breakfast fees anyway, and charged them to venere.com, I guess. It was their mistake after all.

How to reach Art'otel Potsdam
By train
From the South, the West and the North you will reach Potsdam main train station via Magdeburg.
From all other directions you may reach Potsdam main train station via Berlin (Wannsee, Bahnhof Zoo, Ostbahnhof, Bahnhof Lichtenberg stations) or via Schönefeld airport train station; take the local trains RB/RE i.e. the express train line 7 to Potsdam main station. From Potsdam main train station continue by tram line 94. Stop at Schillerplatz Scharfgraben. Step off. You will see the hotel in front of you. From Potsdam train station you may alternatively take bus line 631 to Charlottenhof and then walk for about 200 meters.
