exterior Our hotel, 10 minutes walk from the world famous Postojna cave, is furnished in its original and authentic Slovenian style, with a grand, spacious lobby and bar and modern, colourful rooms.

The accommodation includes all you need for a comfortable and relaxed break; each room has en suite facilities and cable TV. Internet access is available free of charge in the lobby and in most rooms (LAN & wireless).

We are set in this beautiful landscape of rugged mountains and lush forests which you’ll be in an ideal position to explore. You can do so with our quality rental bikes or on foot.

With your enjoyment in mind, we can prepare you a lunch package so you won’t need to disrupt your day of adventure; and our massage service or finish sauna will no doubt be a welcome indulgence on your return.

How to reach Hotel Sport

By car
Hotel Sport is located 200 m northeast from the center of Postojna, next to Ljubljanska street which continues to the country road towards Ljubljana.

Access:
Highway: After exiting the highway, and driving towards Postojna, turn right at the first traffic-light. Go straight ahead through another 2 traffic-lights and you will see Hotel Sport just at the cross road of Ljubljanska & Kolodvorska street which goes to the reailway station.


Country road:
- From direction Koper: you drive towards the city center, straight ahead through 3 traffic-lights.
- From direction Ljubljana: you drive towards the city center, and 200m before the center you will see the green building of Hotel Sport, on your left side.



By train
When exiting the train station, just go down to the end of Kolodvorska street.

By airplane
If you come to the national airport Jožeta Pučnika, you have to take a taxi to Ljubljana and continue by bus or train. If you contact us prior to departure we can arrange you transfer for a better price.

By public transportation
If you come by bus, you just go to the city center and than continue up the Ljubljanska street.
