Overall great experience!!!

I liked very much. clean, quiet, very friendly staff. Close to everywhere - and to historic sites and shopping, and all railway stations, quiet street near the Santa Catarina. Breakfast there, but I did not need it at the hotel. I'll be back once again required.

Avoid the chamber 49, the mattress is terrible! The springs of the bed can not sleep!

The hotel is conveniently located close to metro and a rich open market. The room I got was very small with an even smaller bathroom but in all it was indeed comfortable! The price/quality rate is outstanding, taken the fact that I only intended to sleep there. Nice service, clean room, satisfying location.

I went wit my husband an little daughter for a short trip of 4 days. We found our room very tidy and clean, beautifully furnitured. The staff was friendly and always tried to help as much as possible. The Tube just outside the hotel and various restaurants nearby. Perfect!

Small bathroom, as big as in a train. The view is great The staff was very helpful and polite. We had rooms ready when we arrived (4pm). Check in and check out fast with no problems. We felt secure leaving our luggage in the room while out Small property but location is great for shopping and breakfast. Not many good restaurants for lunch and dinner. Metro stop is very close to the hotel. We were given the type of room we asked for: high floor with great view. Wifi was free but only on the 1st floor, but I could pick it up at the stairs on the 3rd floor and make my international skype calls for free.

It is a very nice hotel in the city center of Oporto. It is undoubtedly a good obtion.

Very nice value for the money. Be forewarned - there's no elevator, so if you're on the 4th floor (as we were), you'll have to haul your suitcases up many flights of stairs. Room was very clean and tidy. The only quibble - our shower was TINY and did not drain well..

There is no Lift. Its price per value rate is perfect. Close into the middle city. The basic requirements are all right.

We had a great time in the pension. Much better than what we expected for a so cheap price. It is well located, clean and staff is friendly. The bathroom is not very big but very clean; the pension has apparently been recently renovated. The bed was not very comfortable but after a long walking day, you are anyway tired and you simply take no account of it. The breakfast is not included in the price but you can find an excellent "pasteleria" on the opposite side of the road 100m further down.

Great location and beautiful building, but the rooms are not sound-proof at all. Noise from the street, hallway and even other rooms travels quite far through the walls and floor/ceiling. During our stay there were many rain storms which caused the electricity to go off frequently. The hostel is next door to a metro stop making it convenient to arrive from the airport and very central for sight-seeing. We would stay at the hostel again for the low low price, but do not recommend it for people who have trouble sleeping with noise.

I was quoted with breakfast included but when I got there they said it wasnt. Apart from that very good. great location.

Stayed 2 nights, 1 at beginning of holiday and 1 at end. 1st stay has caused the low marks. however the 2nd stay was excellent, staff were welcoming, friendly and keen to help. room and bathroom was clean. only downfall about this hotel is the street noise and the fact that they dont offer breakfast, however, there are loads of cafes close which offer cheap local breakfast menus.
